New in PJ Media:
Democrats have been acting as if they hate America for quite some time: if Old Joe Biden were a subversive bent on destroying the nation, what would he be doing differently? But now it’s all out in the open: in Arizona, the Pima County Democrat Party (PCDP) on Friday tweeted an ad for a women’s march in Tucson entitled ‘F**k the 4th.” It’s a hierarchy of values: the Pima County Democrats would rather be hanged or drawn and quartered than tweet “F**k Juneteenth,” but Democrat leaders were so confident in their base’s hatred for America that they had no trouble heaping abuse on Independence Day.
When the predictable firestorm ensued, however, Pima County Democrat officials quickly deleted the tweet and tweeted a clarification that was as weaselly and disingenuous as the first tweet was vile and revolting: “PCDP posted a graphic advertising a women’s march which, we agree, was in poor taste. We were eager to share the event, and in our haste we used the graphic provided by the event organizer. That was a mistake, and we will do better.”
Yeah, no. While the Pima County Democrat Party would now have you believe that this was a simple matter of a careless or indifferent low-level staffer posting an offensive graphic without doing due diligence, the PCDP didn’t just post the graphic. In the original tweet, the PCDP also wrote: “F*ck the Fourth. See you at Reid Park,” the site of the Tucson Women’s March. So the Democrats clearly endorsed the Women’s March’s hatred and contempt for America, right up until they realized that they were going to pay a political cost for doing so.
And even then, the clarification went on to reaffirm the PCDP’s support for the “F**k the 4th” event: “Make no mistake, however. We support the event which will be on July 4 at 7 pm at Reid Park. The event was organized to help women in our community grieve for the loss of their bodily autonomy, which we consider an elemental right. Our posting of the graphic upset some people. We urge you to save your outrage for the women in this state who will die of botched abortions. Arizona is not a good place to be a woman right now.”
Yes, it’s a terrible thing that women in Arizona will have a harder time killing their babies than they did before, but the PCDP didn’t bother to explain why their disagreement with a Supreme Court decision would lead them to hurl a vulgarity at the Independence Day celebrations. Pro-lifers dissented from Roe v. Wade for nearly fifty years, and never once expressed hatred for America or July 4. But for the PCDP, well, that escalated quickly, didn’t it?
There is more. Read the rest here.
Infidel says
Mark Steyn theorized that one of the goals of Juneteenth was to dilute the specialty of July 4th, so that it would be less awaited (since people already had a holiday a few days back) and ultimately disappears
The apparel store in which I work last year had a whole bunch of Juneteenth themed and Black pride t-shirts. Few sold, and this year, there were no new ones. Apparently, this clamor for wokeness exists mainly on campuses (if that) and the media

How is Infidel saying that Juneteenth-themed items did not sell well at his store “racist”? This seems to be a statement of fact.
Wellington says
George Finland:
Your comment is pathetic but also very Leftist because you did not present any kind of argument to counter what Infidel averred, only an insult.
Are you even aware that June 19th, 1865 DID NOT end slavery in all of America? I think not. Juneteenth is a made-up holiday for the most part and just one more example of how Western Civilization, which was the first civilization to realize slavery was wrong, is held to account while the Islamic world, the American Indian world, the sub-Saharan African world, the Asian world, et al. are not held to account for slavery, or for that matter for many other wrongs.
Grow up both intellectually and emotionally. If you can. I’m betting you can’t.

Wellington as far as i know i never said the west is racist i said infidel who is Indian a racist he has made several violent and racist comments on this website.
gravenimage says
Where has Infidel made violent comments? Such comments are not allowed here. Please point them out–if you can.
Westman says
I doubt MLK would agree or ever respond to anything with insults. Perhaps some introspection on his meaning of, “content of character”, would help alleviate the hair-trigger anger that leads to insults.
Life is best enjoyed by working for understanding through dialog and sharing. Drive-by insults just further isolate the hurler.

Westman,
Just wondering how the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would respond today to groups like BLM – and issues like CRT, etc…

Hey admin how many of my comments will u delete u guys never allow dissenting comments why??
gravenimage says
This is absurd. All comments from new posters go to pending as a matter of course and are approved by someone with Jihad Watch when time allows. Especially over a holiday weekend, I’m sure this can often take a while.
john smith says
Correct, it happened to me when I first started commenting here.
gravenimage says
Yes, John–me too. This is automatic.
Wellington says
Ah, you poor dear. And exactly how many of your comments on this thread have been deleted?
You will make no headway here at JW with idiotic, self-pitying and stupid comments like yours.
Also, think you could learn to write English correctly?
James Lincoln says
Corrected, Wellington.
Posters here at Jihad Watch better have their facts straight – with citations – or they will very quickly be taken to task.
Leftists and muslims are not used to being held accountable this way.
James Lincoln says
“Correct” typo

Just one more piece of evidence of how awful the Democratic Party has become. It is no longer salvageable and I do wish that those who are registered Democrat and care about America (sadly this is quickly moving to becoming an oxymoron) would simply leave the party once and for all even though it might result in not being able to vote in many primaries. A mass exodus from the Democratic Party would have a highly beneficial effect upon America. Of this I am certain.

If one hates a tiny baby person, what else should we expect from them?
these haters should get along well with mozlums who also hate. Hatred for Truth…on whatever subject….hatred for innocent life,…so much to hate.
George Finland says
What about conservative muslims are they on your side??
gravenimage says
Actually, the idea that Islam is anti-abortion is not entirely the case.
Then, the implication that one has to change their beliefs because of what violent thugs preach is *very* questionable to begin with.

I suggest they mourn the 4th by sticking a firecracker up their favorite bodily orifice and lighting the fuse. After the bang they can use all the vulgarities they want. It would be like music to my ears – even better than the Star Spangled Banner.
tim gallagher says
Of course, if these people hate the society that they are living in, instead of trying to destroy that society and turning it into some kind of Marxist crap hole, they could simply leave the country and go and live in some society that they think would suit them better. Maybe Venezuela might suit them, or maybe some Muslim country where they can hate America in the same way that the local Muslims do. They’ll never do it of course, because they are out to wreck the country from within just like so many of the invading Muslims in our western countries are out to do.
Keith O says
And Tim, the other reason they won’t leave is because they love all the little goodies that come with a civilised western nation and all the perks that help support their “do as we say, not as we do” lifestyle.
tim gallagher says
I’m sure that that’s right, Keith O. These characters are living a pretty comfortable life in a fairly pleasant society and yet they want to tear it all down. The main thing that I believe about these types of people is that they will install a far, far worse type of society if they ever get their way. But, I suppose that they would mainly think that they’ll be up at the top of the pecking order, so it’ll be all fine for them. But the sort f society they would produce would be hideous for most people.
Wellington says
+1.
Yes, tim, they are both confused and phonies.
Leftism within Western countries and Islam still mostly without—though making inroads to be sure here in the West, in typical parasitical fashion by Muslims—are the two greatest enemies of the West. Coming in third place here are authoritarian regimes like those of Russia, North Korea and China. Minus Leftism however, the West could easily take care of itself, considering how pathetic Islam and your standard secular totalitarianism is. Yes indeed, the enemy within is nine times out of ten the far greater enemy.
tim gallagher says
You are right, Wellington. The march of the cultural Marxists through the schools and universities has done plenty of damage in all our western countries. We have the same crap here in Australia as you would expect. The USA and some of the bigger western nations, the UK, Germany, France, etc, could probably handle China, Russia and the Islamic enemy, but, for Australia, I would have to say that China looms as our biggest threat, although we do have plenty of the underminers living here, who want to tear down our current, quite pleasant society. Australia is a big land mass but has only 25 million people, so China, with its massive population and military assets, is probably going to be a huge threat to all countries, and definitely to Australia, in our area of the world in years to come.
Wellington says
China, tim, as I know you know, is a true friend to no other country. Not even to Russia or North Korea.
China is consumed with its past greatness (not as great as the Chinese think it was) and this is just one more error in the sorry history of mankind, this time courtesy of China, which would have never developed the telegraph, railroads, the telephone, radio, television, cars, planes, air-conditioning, radiology and all kinds of other modern Western medical achievements, computers, satellites, et al. if left on its own.
China represents the quintessential parasitic civilization, achieving certain laudable things early on but then going into static mode for centuries and never learning anything more except by borrowing or stealing from others. It’s an ultimately pathetic civilization, rather like Islamic civilization is—but neither of course will ever realize this, so self-consumed by illusions of their own greatness as they are and reviling the very West which has provided them so much all the while they understand this so little, including why the West was able to achieve in a myriad of ways what Chinese society and Islamic society on their own never would have—the key factor here being freedom, which the West explored like no other civilization in history, but this is lost on both China and the Islamic sphere of mankind which continue to this day to have a dismal view of liberty.
Both parasites and wishing no goodwill to Australia, America or any Western nation. This should be, sadly it is not, the “starting point” by any Western nation with respect to assessing China and the Islamic world.
tim gallagher says
I agree with all that you say there, Wellington. I think that China has been waiting for ages to strut around on the world stage and bully other nations and now it sees that this is its time, and it is going to bully and stomp all over many countries in its area of the world. IT has a disgusting government which treats its own people, and all others, appallingly. I worry that sometimes the scum of the earth, whether Xi and his mob, or Putin and his mob, do win, at least for a while and do dominate. For Australia, the future could be pretty difficult, mainly because of China. Much as I do like living in Australia, and I have traveled a bit and never found any other place I’d prefer to live, if I was a young person, I might think about some pleasant alternative place to live. Because I am quite old, it doesn’t matter.

Thanks, gravenimage. Australia Day, late in January each year, cops a bit of flak. It is called “Invasion day” and that sort of thing by some. I don’t think I’ve ever heard it put quite as nastily as “Fuck Australia Day”, but maybe I’m wrong. I tend to ignore some of the annoying stuff that goes on.

Keith O says
Tim & Wellington, your both correct about China being a direct threat to Australia.
We only have to look at both the Solomon Islands and PNG.
Japan needed to take both those areas during WW2 as a means of attacking Australia, even with the tech of the era they could bomb the crap out of us if they had become established.
Nowadays, China could hit the food bowls in SE QLD and the mineral resources in the top end.
Gee, why a I concerned?
tim gallagher says
We definitely need to be concerned about China’s ambitions, Keith O, and I think that most Australians now are concerned. I just see no answer to the problem and I also think China is just starting to flex its muscles and kick other countries around so I see things getting worse. I hope that I’m wrong. I guess that taking over Taiwan will keep the thugs that run China busy for a while.
gravenimage says
Yes–China is a threat just as Russia is. I am especially concerned for Taiwan, but they are not the only target.

The second President of the United States , John Adams , had a good and valid point when he wrote “The general principle upon which the Fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity…I will avow that I believed and now believe that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God.”
Walter Sieruk says
The former US President , Theodore Roosevelt in a speech had spoken wisdom when he said. There can be no fifty -fifty Americanism in this country . There is room here for only one hundred percent Americanism., only for those who are Americans and nothing else.”
