Reaction to attacks: Attackers’ prerogatives are clear, planned attack
Association President Mustafa Karabudak made a short statement in front of the cemevi. In his statement, Karabudak stated that the political power targeted Alevis and said, “Today is the first day of Muharram and we learned that there were various attacks on Alevi cemevis and associations in Ankara. These attacks are simultaneous. This shows that it was all done in a planned way,” he said.
Karabudak continued:
“These attacks are directly related to the political power’s marginalization of Alevis, ignoring their beliefs and making politics over them. Political power is responsible for these attacks. Those who did it are obvious. We have the camera footage. We have also complained. We filed a complaint about it. We will not give up until the end. Political power must find those who did this. Thank you to everyone who came here and supported us. Tomorrow we will hold a meeting as all Alevi institutions, and then we will have a statement.”
PSAKD Chairman Cuma Erçe and HDP Party Assembly member Turgut Öker also visited the cemevi.
HDP Deputies Tülay Hatimoğulları and Murat Çepni are also coming to DAD Mother Fatma Cemevi.
In the meantime, Alevi institutions will gather tomorrow due to the attacks in question.
