If anyone at Twitter was ever suspicious of Ahmad Abouammo, he or she or xe knew not to say anything. To express such suspicion would have been “Islamophobic.”
“Former Twitter employee convicted of accepting bribes from Saudi Arabia, sharing private user information,” by Paul Best, FOXBusiness, August 10, 2022:
A former Twitter employee was convicted of failing to register as a foreign agent, wire fraud, international money laundering, and other charges for sharing private Twitter user information with officials in Saudi Arabia and members of the Saudi Royal family in exchange for cash and a luxury watch.
Ahmad Abouammo, 44, previously worked as a media partnerships manager for the Middle East/North Africa region at Twitter….
In December 2014, Abouammo met with an official from Saudi Arabia, who gave him a luxury Hublot watch worth $42,000.
Abouammo then started accessing private information on Twitter, including one influential account that was “critical of members of the Saudi Royal Family and the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” the Justice Department said.
A Saudi official sent $100,000 in 2015 to a Lebanese bank account associated with a family member of Abouammo, who then laundered the money back to the U.S. in small increments.
Shortly after leaving his job at Twitter in 2021, Abouammo received another $100,000 check from the Saudi official.
Abouammo also provided false information to FBI agents who interviewed him at his Seattle home in October 2018.
A grand jury convicted Abouammo on Tuesday of failing to register as a foreign agent, wire fraud, money laundering and other charges….
Another former Twitter employee, Saudi citizen Ali Alzabarah, was accused of accessing the private information of thousands of Twitter accounts for Saudi Arabia in 2015, including one that belonged to Omar Abdulaziz, who is critical of the Saudi government….

And who of the ones who come here often is the least surprised by this from a devout mozlum? It’s good they caught him and he has been found guilty of having committed crimes.
If mozlums do things, it’s for the thrill of killing, the lust for raping, or the money to line their pockets. One can easily expect to find them committing crimes in order to achieve their desires. Like satan.

Something is wrong with the penultimate paragraph. Grand juries indict, petit juries convict.

I wonder how the negotiations played out; “We represent the Saudi government who are acting on the wishes of Allah. We are requesting personal information on number of your company’s user accounts. Can, as a good Muslim, help us?”. “I’m religious but not stupid. How much?” “A Rolex”. “Everybody has a Rolex. Do better”. “Hublot?”. “Huh?.” “It’s a hand made Swiss Watch far superior in quality and status than Rolex” “OK but I want some cash too, in U.S. dollars”. “50k”. “150K”. “You insult me and I am inclined to reject your offer.” “200K?” “Deal” Later on: “Mom, I am going to buy you a Lexus”. “Son, everybody has a Lexus. Do better”

Saudi Arabia our ally was involved with bribery to gain information from Americans? Our political leaders keep telling us what great friends the Saudis are and that we need to provide them with military weapons and aide. Someone is not telling the truth. I guess it is hard to follow all that oil money the Saudis have to spread around.
