If the roles were reversed here, there would be no end of global indignation and condemnation. But this? No one cares. The universal media paradigm is that Muslims are victims. When they are aggressors, the media determinedly doesn’t notice, or finds a way to cast the aggressor as the victim (cf. the “Palestinians”).

Right now, w/ Europe freezing, don’t expect them to do a thing about Armenia. They’ve learnt from Ukraine the price of supporting the side that doesn’t control oil (not to speak of fertilizer)

Stockholm is one of the coldest cities in Europe, and it was 60 degrees Fahrenheit there today.
Recently a Russian troll was claiming that Britons were gathering at local McDonalds in the evenings so they would not freeze to death–in August–in the middle of a heatwave.
Infidel–with all respect–shouldn’t you at least claim that Europe is going to be freezing come winter? That might be a bit more believable than making the claim in the summertime.

I’m talking about stuff on GBNews last week, when Mark Steyn was talking to panelists who were talking to him about people choosing b/w food and keeping warm thanks to the skyrocketing power bills that they were getting. I myself was a bit surprised to hear that, given that it’s summer here, and probably there as well. In California, you have the opposite problem – being asked to set your ACs to 78, in contrast to the images of people freezing to death
My above point, though, remains: Europe found itself in the midst of an energy crisis after taking Ukraine’s side against Russia. Even if they sympathized w/ Armenia, it would seem to me that the last thing they’d wanna do would be to piss off another energy supplier, especially when we are no longer an energy exporter

Infidel, there is no doubt that energy costs are high–but I still don’t see how anyone in Europe is freezing now. This seems to be more a threat–kowtow to Russian aggression or we will make you freeze to death.
Appeasing *any* thugs, Islamic or otherwise, is generally a poor idea.

You may be right Infidel. I doubt the Baltic states will support Armenia as strongly as Ukraine, given that Russia is Armenia’s main backer.
Greece could maybe form an anti-Turkish alliance? It would not lack support in this neck of the woods.
It seems Muslim armies are better supplied than Christian on 3 continents.

This aggression has been going on for months. This time there were many casualties.
The Greek Emperor has Fox on, and Special Reports gave the story a brief mention.

To be fair, no US media outlet covers foreign stories well. If you have access to a Greek or Armenian channel, say on YouTube, just use that. For instance, for following all the Queen news, I’m using GBNews, not relying on any American channel

GreekEmpress, glad to see that *someone* was covering this story.

Just disgusting. And I hadn’t even heard this on the news.
