Old Joe Biden read off his teleprompter at the 9/11 Memorial Ceremony at the Pentagon Sunday, and his speech was filled with the usual pious blather about how much he admires the heroic first responders who never cross his mind on the other 364 days of the year. In the course of his semi-coherent meanderings, which WhiteHouse.gov had to clean up with several strikethroughs and corrections in the official transcript, Old Joe informed us what the “greatest lesson of September 11” was. Was it that death can come at any moment, so we should value life and cherish our loved ones? Not even close. Was it that we should be willing to pay any price to ensure that free societies survive and prosper? This senescent authoritarian wasn’t about to say that. No, Biden’s “greatest lesson of September 11” was that we must not be unkind to Muslims. Yes, really. And indeed, we shouldn’t. But is that really the primary takeaway from the murder of nearly 3,000 people by Islamic jihad terrorists?
There is more. Read the rest here.

I read the manuscript… I thought Robert might have been missing something else, some other context? Nope…. old ice cream gave an anodyne speech that offends no one, except common sense and sensibility. We’ve learned that we must not be unkind to Muslims….. you know because as colonialists we’ve always selfishly thought of ourselves and never others, as the meme of ‘progressivism’ commands us to drill into our beings.
It was rather indecent, that speech, but since it’s incorrect to point out anyone else’s flaws, faults or the intensity of their hatreds, except those of white nationalists and anything associated with D Trump it will garner no criticism from MSM.
mg says
andrea widburg over at americanthinker in her essay on that speech noted: ‘Those of us who remember 9/11 also remember that the American people did not go on a screaming rampage against the Muslims in their midst. While Palestinians were celebrating the attack by dancing in the streets (something even Snopes admits is true), most Americans kept their focus on the killers themselves and on Al Qaeda, a terrorist organization.’
And that the amount of attacks against ‘muslims’ was and remains so small that C.A.I.R, has to invent them to create the false myth of Islamophobia, which is nothing more than Islam’s 1400 yr command that Islam never ever be evaluated, let alone criticized by non Muslims- or else muslims might in their minds, get justifiably enraged and harm others.

How many people *hated* mozlums before that awful day when many mozlums showed just how much they hate the rest of us?
How many of us were “unkind” to mozlums before that horrific day when they were so very “unkind” to the rest of us, esp those in the buildings and on the planes and the families that still mourn the great loss? It was worse, so much worse, than being unkind. It was demonic behavior. By those who committed the mass murders and by those who watched, applauded, celebrated and began planning the next terror attack. bn laden wanted his next move to be even worse.
I don’t do unkind things to people. not even to mozlums. But I have absolutely no hesitation to hate the things molzums believe and the evil things they do every day of the week and therefore, I’ll not stop writing or speaking about those hateable things. And, I won’t go out of my way to be “kind” to mozlums. ..no money, no help with housing, no helping find a job. not even a “greeting” as the Apostle John commanded…nada.
They hate me and wish me dead. I don’t have to like them any more than they like me.
John ..Smith says
Somehistory, I’m with you on this, “I don’t do unkind things to people, not even mozlums”, and the reason we don’t is because we are Christians. I can honestly say I’ve never felt hate in my life, even though I Know what it is, I have never personally felt it and hope I never will.
Like you and many others here I may say, “I hate islam” but real hate comes from the heart and fortunately there is no place for hate in my heart.
On the other hand many muslims have never felt love, they may say they love someone, and they may even believe that they love someone. But like love hate also comes from the heart, and when the heart is constantly filled with hate, it will never know love.
somehistory says
thank you, John.
I don’t go about hating people. It’s not in my nature. But I do hate the evils of islam and the fact that mozlums want to impose them or me or make me take the long dirt nap.
Because I know that’s how they feel, I can’t feel a liking toward them. My wish is that they would leave islam and be Christian. But as Jesus said, the “road is narrow and cramped, and few are the ones finding it.’ so I don’t expect any large number of them to abandon satan’s religion.
and you are right about the heart. It can be full of love or it can be full of hate, but it can’t be full of both. and since mozlums hate everyone, they have no room for love to take root and grow.
John ..Smith says
I also hate the evils of islam, but hatred from the heart is something entirely different. It’s an emotion that many of us will never get to feel, but it’s an emotion that’s always in the hearts of devout muslims.
somehistory says
that’s very true. we can’t know and don’t want to know that kind of hate.
John ..Smith says
I struggled for a long time why Jesus told us to love our enemies, I just couldn’t make any sense of this. I’ve often thought, could the true meaning of what Jesus actually said, had been lost in translation of the scriptures, I just don’t know.
But to me doesn’t “love your enemies” sound a bit like “Don’t hate your enemies”.
Hate is a negative emotion, and hatred from the heart is evil, and this is why it is such a dominant force in islam.
somehistory says
Jesus said to “love” as God “loves.” and yet, the Bible commands us to “hate what is bad” and the “six things that Jehovah hates”…all bad things, but all about humans.
Jesus said God makes it rain and the sun to shine on the righteous and the wicked. That is how God “loves.”
We don’t go out and do bad things to even bad people. It’s love based on the principle of “do to others the way you wish to have done to you.”
that is my understanding. we don’t have to have any kind of “affection” for them.
CogitoErgoSum says
The problem is that anyone who refuses to become a Muslim or who won’t submit to the rules of Islam is offensive to a Muslim and they are supposed to fight those who won’t submit to Islam (Koran 9:29). If you are not not a Muslim you are offensive to them. Even if you do submit to humiliating yourself as a dhimmi they will still find you offensive for not being a Muslim and see is as their duty to humiliate you constantly. Old Joe says not to offend Muslims but he has no idea as to what they find offensive. He thinks their religion is basically the same as his religion but it is far from it. He will never address that in any speech, however.
somehistory says
One thing: I don’t believe that he “thinks” anything. His brain is basically mush. He speaks what he is told to say, follows a script, and no longer thinks. I recall right after the 9/11 when the gov was talking about making travel on planes more secure and he was on his favorite train with a reporter. He was saying that trains and stations needed to be protected as much as airports and travel.
Now, he is being told by “bo” and crew what to say regarding mozlums and how we should all be careful not to “offend” them. Offending them does lead to death for the offender. However, if enough people highly offended them…by telling the absolute Truth, they wouldn’t have so much power to hurt us.
CogitoErgoSum says
He’s certainly not doing the American people any good by not telling them the entire truth. The truth can hurt sometimes but it’s always best not to be afraid of it even if it does hurt. Just about every time Biden opens his mouth it’s to lie or speak a half-truth. The American people have got to get over this fake “woke” nonsense of believing lies and wake up to the truth. But they will never hear the truth from Joe Biden.
somehistory says
I think he was installed in order to make everything go wrong. His installers picked him because he no longer has a mind of his own. there might have been an occasion when he would have realized that everything was a lie and that he was hurting everyone…even if he kept on doing the same thing. But I don’t think he knows enough now to realize anything past what he is told and may briefly understand. The mind can be cognizant for short periods even when there is severe dementia. He’s so far along, very few moments of actual realization are open to him.
and, you are right. As long as people listen and believe the nonsense being propagated, they will only be causing damage to themselves and others.
James Lincoln says
somehistory says,
“The mind can be cognizant for short periods even when there is severe dementia.”
Yes.
In dementia, it’s the short term memory that goes first. Biden often times forgets what has said just minutes / hours before…
somehistory says
thank you, James.
Infidel says
So Joe, why haven’t you converted? It’s easy – just recite the shehada in front of muslim witnesses, and viola! You are our first muslim president!
somehistory says
I think he’d be the second mozlum fake president.

Don’t be unkind to Muslims is the biggest lesson. That has to be just about the most moronically stupid statement I have ever heard. Biden would just be reading some load of garbage that some speech writer has come up with, so he must have staff that are either that stupid or are on the side of barbaric islam. It is very much a case of saying, oh, don’t offend the Muslim scum or they will carry out their usual terrorist attacks on you. Talk about sticking up the white flag and letting islam win. islam’s whole modus operandi is all about scaring non-Muslims into surrendering and letting islam be imposed on us all, so Biden’s speech is disgusting and gutless. Of course, Biden is nothing but a doddering old ventriloquist’s dummy.
Walter Sieruk says
By not offending, Muslims means not giving them “dirty looks” and being rude to them by calling them names , you ragheads, in that sense,Joe Biden is right, but if “not offending Muslims” means not speaking out about the deadly dangers of Islamic violent jihad and exposing sly subtle subversive stealth jihad, then Biden is 100% wrong, again.
One real, valid lesson that needs learned from 9/11 may be seen with that al Qaeda jihadist who “mastermind” of the September 11, 2001, those jihad mass murder attacks, Khalid Sheik Mohammad, had confidently declared “We will win because Americans don’t realize …we do not need to defeat you militarily; we only need to fight long enough for you to defeat yourself by quitting.” That arrogant boast of by KSM should serve as a reminder that we, as Americans, need to and should stand firm, with great fortitude, in this War of Idea’s and struggle against the jihadist who are always busy scheming to engage in mad Islamic quest by the means of the stealth jihad and the violent jihad violent. In other words, the jihadists mean the conquest for supreme power and control of Islam over the West, either by hook or by crook.
Therefore, all good Americans should maintain a strong vigilant fortitude against Islamic strategies , savagely and tyranny. As Thomas Jefferson had, so well, explained “Fortitude…teaches us to meet and surmount difficulties; not to fly from them.”
Furthermore, there are still other jihadist chiefs around as on the loose, as KSM, who are engaged in Islamic scheming to have their jihadist /stooge’s future Islamic terrorist attack against Americans and America. Therefore, we ,as Americans, should not live in fear or be afraid to go to difference place and do different things, yet even though we should feel no fear we should keep aware of our surrounding and be alert for anything that seems not to look quite right. As in “What’s wrong with this picture?” Then if something questionable is seen then it’s important to go and tell the right person about it.
As example, In NY./ NY a tee-shirt vendor saw some smoke come out of a parked van and so he went and informed as police officer about it. As it has been said “If you see something, say something.” To put this in another way, the wise words of Thomas Jefferson apply more now more than those words of wisdom did in his own time. For Mr. Jefferson declared “Let the eye of vigilance never be closed.”

Biden: ‘Greatest Lesson of September 11’ Is That We Should Not Offend Muslims
……………………………………………
I decided to loo up Biden’s exact phrasing:
To me, that’s the greatest lesson of September 11. Not that we will never again face a setback, but that in a moment of great unity we also had to face down the worst impulses, fear, violence, recrimination directed against Muslim Americans, as well as Americans of Middle Eastern and South Asian heritage.
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/speeches-remarks/2022/09/11/remarks-by-president-biden-at-9-11-memorial-ceremony/
So our being attacked by Jihad terrorists was not really an issue, nor that we are *still* being threatened by them–but that we are a bunch of mean racists who just barely kept ourselves from violently turning on Muslims, Middle Easterners, and Indians.
What sick calumny against Americans.
And where does exposing the threat of Islam stand here? No doubt it is lumped under “recriminations”, which is not seen as sanity to protect ourselves, but is considered “our worst impulses”. Disgusting.
