Fetterman claims he’s pro-Israel, but operates an art gallery featuring ‘Palestinian’ jihad propaganda

Of course. Hatred of Israel is increasingly not just taken for granted, but required on the Left. The Fetterman camp was probably hoping that no one would notice the inconsistency.

On the campaign trail, Pennsylvania lieutenant governor John Fetterman touts his “unwavering” support for Israel. But the Senate hopeful operates a nonprofit that hosted an anti-Israel art exhibit that demonized Israel as an “apartheid state” and spread slanderous falsehoods about the Jewish State.

Fetterman’s gallery, UnSmoke Systems, hosted an exhibit in 2012 titled “I Am Palestine,” featuring a so-called apartheid wall that condemns the 440-mile Israeli-built barrier separating Israel from the West Bank following a wave of Palestinian suicide bombings launched from the territory that left roughly 700 Israeli civilians dead.

The artists featured in the exhibit claimed in a statement accompanying the project that Israel built the wall “under the guise of security while stealing more Palestinian land and resources.”…

Fetterman’s campaign defended the gallery exhibit and his views on Israel, telling the Washington Free Beacon that Fetterman “is and always has been a pro-Israel Democrat.”…

Fetterman’s gallery, which is supported by his nonprofit Braddock Redux, also commissioned a mural in 2008 entitled “Three Boys Living in the Shadow of the Separation Wall” from an artist, Swoon, who is a prominent anti-Israel activist and has called for a cultural boycott of the Jewish state.

One of the artists featured in the 2012 exhibit, Karina Goulordava, served at the time as vice president of the University of Pittsburgh chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine, a group that “disseminates anti-Israel propaganda often laced with inflammatory and at times combative rhetoric,” according to the Anti-Defamation League. The student group often uses apartheid walls at its anti-Israel rallies “depicting Israel alone as responsible for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict,” the ADL says….

        There was a time, when I thought that politicians lied as easily as they breath, no more, now I think that they lie easier than they breath.

        • cells in their brains actually have to act to get the lungs, the muscles of the diaphragm, etc. to work to take in air, send it around the body in the blood and to breathe out what isn’t used. to lie….the cells just sit there idle. no effort is needed.

  2. I am a life-long Pennsylvania citizen and if Fetterman is not bad news then nothing is bad news. This horrible man, never mind his pro-Palestinian position and lying about being pro-Israel, is for releasing a third of the PA prison population and this would include not just non-violent criminals but an excessive number of violent criminals. He also wants brutal murderers already sentenced to die to instead be given life in prison—and which can result in stupid parole boards eventually releasing them. He himself has stated that emptying the prisons in Pennsylvania is his number one priority.

    Meanwhile, Philadelphia, where I was born, is on schedule this year to top the homicide rate of last year and which rate of last year set a record. Fetterman is just fine with the Soros-backed Philly DA, Larry Krasner, who has released or failed to prosecute the detritus of the human race and which has resulted in Philadelphia being a very unsafe place even in daylight let alone at night.

    Fetterman is also for unrestricted abortion, even to the extent of letting a child who survived a botched abortion put in a “comfort room” to slowly die. This is clearly evil. And Fetterman is just fine with 1st graders being taught about sexual matters and all for as well puberty blockers for 8 year olds. Beyond sick.

    All of this is in keeping with what the Democratic Party has become. As Senator Kennedy of Louisiana said just the other day, he belongs to the Republican Party and which party has a lot of faults but the other major party is simply crazy. No one can any longer be a sensible and patriotic American and vote Democrat or remain a registered Democrat.

    And his opponent for the PA Senate seat, the troubling Muslim “Dr. Oz”, refuses to discuss Israel at all. Very disturbing.

    Glad to see the Bosch Fawstin cartoon at the top of the article, though. Always great to see his work.

    • I think what will happen is that Fetterman will win this election, and then croak, and then Doug Mastriano would get to pick his successor. Hopefully then, he can nominate either Kathy Barnett or, if he’s put his family issues behind him, Sean Parnell

      • Fetterman is in his early 50s and seems to be in reasonably good health–I’m not sure why he’d be likely to die soon.

        • he’s had a stroke and he has a large growth on his neck. could be he’s not in ‘good health.’

    • That’s an even better move than sending them to DC or NYC or Chicago. If Obama is the one remotely running this administration, it would be nice to send those ‘refugees’ his way, so that he can enjoy the diversity

        • He should also pick the Clinton’s home in Chappaqua. If he’s flying them, then I’m not sure he has a way to ensure that they surround Nancy’s home in Pacifica, which is some 13 miles from San Francisco Airport. As well as the neighborhood of Crying Chuck

    • Just awesome! If she won’t go to the border, then the border can come to her. A variation on an old cliche: “If Mohammed doesn’t go to the mountain, the mountain will come to Mohammed”. (Don’t ask me: it doesn’t make the slightest sense to me either, so it’s probably an islamic ‘proverb’)

        The origin of this is obscure, but I believe this is the first time it appears in print in English.

        and I’ve never understood that saying either. Probably something they tried to steal from the account of Moses going to the mountain to be given God’s commands, or perhaps even Jesus Christ going to the mountain to pray
