Yes, China is threatening Taiwan and Turkey is threatening Greece and Azerbaijan is threatening Armenia and Iran is, as always, threatening Israel. I think these thugs would be even more emboldened if Russia were doing well in its invasion of Ukraine.

I liked Elon Musk’s proposals for there to be a real referendum in those occupied Ukrainian provinces, like Donetsk, Luhansk and Kherson, while Crimea formally reverts to Russia, since it was always a part of Russia, except for when Krushchev gifted it to Ukraine w/o inputs from either the Crimean population or the RSFSR. I know the Ukrainians are patriotically opposed to any potential loss of territory, but given where they are, I don’t see why they started blasting Musk, who gave them Starlink access immediately after the invasion started. Also, after the discovery that Ukraine was behind the assassination of a Russian official in Moscow – a clear terror incident – I’m a lot less sympathetic to Kyiv now than I originally was
