Meanwhile, the EU is expending massive amounts of resources to bring large numbers of Muslims, among whom will be an unknowable number of Islamic State jihadis, to Europe. A rational group would consider its immigration policies in light of the implications of the need to fight in Mozambique, but the EU is not a rational group. Unless, of course, jihad war in Europe is actually what it wants.

The European Union is considering providing financial support to Rwandan troops fighting an armed Islamic State-linked insurgency in Mozambique’s gas-rich northeastern region.
An insurgency by Islamist fighters that began in the region in 2017 has left more than 3,000 people dead and displaced nearly a million people, and prompted French energy company TotalEnergies SE to suspend a $20 billion natural gas project. Once production begins, it will offer Europe an alternative source of supplies at a time when Russia is restricting gas sales to the continent….

You are right. In this suicidal madness they want to be friends with terrorists whether stealth or open on their soil. Are they implying to say that terror is not OK in Africa but won’t mind importing the very same ideology with open arms?
This is another madness. We can only hope that the counter terror operation there gets exasperated and then gets redirected to Europe. In the long run this seems to be imperative

So what happens when a certain large number of islamists in a certain place (who were allowed into this place, with open arms) all hear about this same place getting some certain military force, to go kill their “brothers” in another place? A European Body wants an East African Army to fight a bunch of ragheads in a Southern African country, meanwhile not fighting the ragheads in their own European countries..

They could combine it with an active (not passive) repatriation processing center that is already in place there. The EU has millions of illegal Muslim migrants. Complement it, of course, with onward flights to country of origin to avoid the processing center becoming a dumping ground like the EU. Two birds with one stone.
