How did these artifacts get there? What happened to the Christians of the region that is now Bahrain? Why did this happen? Why will no one, no one at all, dare to talk about exactly what happened to them, and why? Find out in The History of Jihad.
“Old Christian relics discovered in Bahrain mosque,” MENAFN, November 21, 2022:
(MENAFN) On an island in Bahrain, archaeologists and historians are at work discovering relics that will show the story of Christian homes in the kingdom before the spread of Islam.
A group of Bahraini and British specialists prudently examine through sandy stretches between thick stone walls of what may have been a monastery or a bishop’s home referring back to the sixth and eighth century….
The team is digging an old Christian home founded under a 300-year-old mosque in a Muslim cemetery on Bahrain’s Muharraq island….
“It will be most exciting for the country to discover more concrete evidence of a Christian presence that dates back to the sixth and eighth centuries AD below a 300-year-old mosque,” Salman Almahari, manager of Antiquities and Museums of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities in the archaeology and museums executive, updated The National in a meeting.

Wait. Why are the archaeologists being allowed to dig up a mosque? Normally they’d be lynched for the desecration. Must be a Shiite mosque. The King of Bahrain and his soldiers are Sunni, and keep a frim boot on their Shia subjects.

Yeah, that’s what struck me as well!

It’s not clear where this mosque exists. Muharraq is an island and it has a city by the same name. The city of Muharraq is described as a ‘pioneer city” and is part of UNESCO’s ‘creative cities’ network. They speak of working with people from other cultures. Here, they’re working with British archeologists. Maybe they are trying to make it an international tourist destination that will welcome all to view its history?

As I recall most of the lands that Muslims conquered (esp. in the mideast) once used to be Christian. Ofc that also means most Muslims used to be Christians or other non-Muslims that were forced to convert to Islam with a sword on their necks.
It is very unfortunate that Christianity doesn’t include a doctrine of warfare and self-defense, including the total elimination of one’s attackers/enemies.
While I have my issue with all religions, Christianity is a far superior and more civilized religion than Islam. The world would’ve been better off if Christians had wiped out Islam, unfortunately that task now falls to us.
I truly believe an ultimate showdown between Islam and the West is definitely coming. These terrorist attacks we’ve seen, the aggressive thuggery to force Islam down our throats is just the start.
Muslims have been winning this war so far, influencing Leftists, forcing western nations to accept millions of Muslim fighters posing as refugees, probably bribing or threatening our politicians to do their bidding.
As their numbers grow, they will probably try to overthrow democracy “legally” at first, but I’m sure they’re preparing for a military solution also…note that foreign nations like Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Iran are not just lands far away who have no interest in us.
In fact, I think they’re very interested and seek to conquer us and are funding terrorism and the building of mosques with the oil wealth that we gave them.
Given how much they’ve already accomplished while they’re only 5% of our population, it’s discouraging to think how much worse things will be when they approach 10-20%. In poorer countries where the infidels were largely weak, poor and defenseless, they declared jihad like in Sudan where they killed millions of Christians and other non-Muslims.
In the West it won’t be so easy for them and we’re better informed. I think in the end, when push comes to shove (and it will), we will win…but I bet a lot of innocents will probably suffer/die first until the West finally and truly wakes up. We’re still fast asleep now and largely apathetic. That’ll change when thousands maybe millions of families are directly affected by Muslims.

I am not into climate change ideology – but I do support the use of renewable energy for the very reason that I do not want my money being used to fund Wahabist radical mosques. Must admit that I find it surprising that jihadists haven’t joined these particular dots and don’t bomb solar panel factories – but perhaps that would discredit Islam with the Greta Thunberg generation.

Agreed Alk…we need to get off mideast oil yesterday.
Unfortunately the US is run by a senile old dumbass, even if he wasn’t old/senile, he’d still a Lefty idiot who makes bad decisions.
As I recall all western nations have plenty of oil of their own. Canada apparently may have much as Saudi Arabia locked up in the oil sands.
If our leaders had any brains, we’d develop our own oil industry and completely stop relying on evil states like China, Russia and the mideast.
We’re making them super-rich and then they’re starting wars against us to take our land/resources, etc.
If all wealthy nations stopped buying mideast oil, we could force them to live in mediocrity and then they’d be no threat to us again.
Renewables is ok, but better to switch to nuclear, which provides reliable safe power for the masses…solar has its own problems, like transport/storage of power, not working when it’s bad weather, etc.

The problem is that the west has largely abandoned Judeo-Christian values, faith and culture and embraced their new Green-Marxist globalist idol. The elite is doing its best to turn the west into a post-Judeo-Christian society. Even innocent children, schoolbooks and schools are under attack by groups like the LGBTQ+ who are a result of entering this brave new world.
Exchanging your idol for another idol is one thing, but being foolish enough to exchange the Living God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob for an idol is unforgivable and brings dire consequences. This goes for Israel and any other nation that makes that mistake.
“Has a nation ever changed its gods? Actually, they are not even gods at all. But my people have traded away their glorious God. They have traded me for worthless statues of gods.
Sky above, be shocked over this. Tremble with horror,” announces the LORD.
“My people have sinned twice. They have deserted me, even though I am the spring of water that gives life. “ (Jeremiah 2:11-13)
“…If you do not respect me, you will suffer bitterly. I want you to understand that,” announces the LORD who rules over all. “ (Jeremiah 2:19)

When people refer to Judeo-Christian values I’m often left to wondering to what values they are actually referring.
I always thought those values had something to do with the Golden Rule, love thy neighbor and the like. It’s easy to apply those values to people who look like you, follow the same religion that you follow and have the same political beliefs as you. But when they carry different political beliefs, a different sexual orientation or have a different view of the ecology for example somehow those values don’t seem to apply.
So, I am bound to ask: Exactly to what Judeo-Christian values do you refer?
Hank says
Values and truths revealed in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation are Judeo-Christian values. God does not change and His revealed truths and values don’t either (Numbers 23:19, Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8). You have total freewill now, as long as it does not harm others, to believe them and be obedient to it or not. The Golden Rule does not negate His moral laws.
Same with His physical laws. Gravity is good for you but you have total freewill now to believe it or not. It’s a personal choice. If someone decides to step out the window and fly, hopefully a kind soul will sound the alarm before it happens and explain things. God’s moral and physical laws are in place and you are free to reject them. Some have immediate consequences; others have a consequence much later. The Golden Rule does not negate His physical laws. You can still practice it on the way down.
Don’t connect the Golden Rule, for example, with children schoolbooks promoting that they may or may not be a boy or girl or an “it” and can choose what they want to be or even get surgery? The Golden Rule is not an excuse to promote perversion.

One of the things that is very noticeable in modern society is that love of neighbour is being split off from love of God – and then you get the nonsense that I’m addressing on a Christian Post thread, where abortion is held to be love of neighbour. Obviously not the smaller of the two neighbours present when you see a woman who is pregnant….
Euthanasia is getting similar treatment so have just finished a sarcastic rewrite of the Parable of the Good Samaritan, in which the Samaritan actually smashes the victim’s head in with a brick, because that way he won’t have to suffer during convalescence (and actually Jesus never specified that he made a full recovery so disability is possible too).
