Denmark is taking the lead in showing the world that it will not accept a dhimmi role at the FIFA World games, as Qatar is essentially demanding. In so doing, Denmark is standing up for human rights and openly opposing Sharia oppression. Kudos to Denmark. Let’s hope other Western countries who claim to support human rights follow suit.
“Denmark ready to lead European withdrawal from FIFA over armband row,” by Phillip Buckingham and Jacob Whitehead, The Atlantic, November 23, 2022:
Denmark have revealed they are ready to discuss a blanket withdrawal from FIFA alongside other UEFA nations amid the ongoing row over the #OneLove armbands.
On Monday, seven European sides planning to wear the anti-discrimination armbands to protest against Qatar’s human rights record all backed down from the plan after being threatened with sporting sanctions by FIFA.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday morning, Danish FA (DBU) CEO Jakob Jensen revealed that a yellow card was the “minimum” punishment that captain Simon Kjaer would have faced.
“On November 21, England asked for an emergency meeting with FIFA, who came to the English hotel,” Jensen revealed. “FIFA said it would at least give a yellow card.
“There has been discussion about whether there is a legal basis for giving a yellow card, but there is. The penalty could have been a yellow card, that the captain had not come on the pitch or that he was given a ban.”
The DBU delegation revealed the “anger” this has caused, and stated they would not formally support current president Gianni Infantino in his reelection bid. Infantino is standing unopposed.
“There are presidential elections in FIFA. There are 211 countries in FIFA and I understand that the current president has statements of support from 207 countries,” said DBU chairman Jesper Moller. “Denmark is not among those countries. And we’re not going to be either.”
Moller also revealed that Denmark were considering leaving FIFA, and were willing to discuss this with all 55 member states of the organisation.
“It is not a decision that has been made now. We have been clear about this for a long time. We have been discussing it in the Nordic region since August,” he said…….

But hey, blood of dead slaves mixed all through the stadium concrete; we’ll play on that and sit in those stands and cheer.
As Daniel Greenfield recently said, ”The new truth is more of the same. Its truth is the conviction that the holistic leftist worldview is factually accurate in all of its details. The expert credentialism deployed to create facts and then fact checks is just apologia for an ideological movement. What used to be propaganda, activists in expert drag, has morphed into full progressive fascism that is out to impose its truth on you.
And to silence everyone who disagrees.”

It is interesting that this report is not written for the general public, but for people who are already familiar with the soccer world. There is not explanation of what the letters FIFA stand for, what a “yellow card” is, or what the #OneLove armband even looks like.

That’s what I was thinking
This article needs some work
Jim J Fox says
Specifically the USA which is probably the ONLY country that doesn’t understand football, the ONLY genuine World Game!
And no, the article does not ‘need some work’, Americans need educating.
Also in the matter of the ‘Metric system’ or correctly the Systeme Internationale (SI units, developed by Napoleon Bonaparte – correct me if I’m wrong). Science & Engineering is messy using Imperial measures – recalling ‘BTU per pound mole degrees Reaumer’ as a wonderful example! Rods, poles & perches; bushels, fathoms, cords of wood…
Baseball isn’t in spite of claiming a “World Series”
YES I know it stems from some newspaper of that name.
PS- I’m no great fan of football/soccer.
Jim J Fox says
Well off-topic! A bit of fun.
This is the best thing to emerge from this World Cup. Mainstream media forced to face the realities of Islam & Shari’ah, though still dressing it up as “Cultural beliefs”.
If only more thinking people were informed about The Religion of Peace, what a better world would come to be.
All the bulls**t & victimhood could be swept away & Islam would be sent back to 7th century Arabia.

I’m with you, Jim J Fox, and I hope that this World Cup in Qatar wakes up many of the really slow learners who still haven’t woken up to islam’s evil nature. Muslim countries, with their 7th century Arabian approach to the way human beings should live their lives, should never be given a tournament like the World Cup, but, if it does wake some people up, then that’s a good result.

Actually, I’m w/ you on this. Mark expects every article ever written to be automatically understood by the average American. Given the quality of our schools across the board, that’s completely unrealistic
OneLove colors should be familiar at least to those Americans deep in the LGBTQIA propaganda
࿗Infidel࿘ says
I hope that not just Denmark, but the top European teams, such as Germany, France, Spain, Holland, et al join Denmark in walking out of this. If FIFA bans them, it will have excluded the best soccer players from the sport, a bit like world cricket did in the 70s and 80s when South Africa, then a top cricketing nation, was banned from international cricket
Normally, I’d call this ridiculous: LGBTQIA causes are not worth smuggling into national or international sports, and I’d oppose this move by Denmark. But since this has been done more to bend to the will of Qatar than out of any actual principles of separating sexual politics from sports, I’ll root for this to happen, and that too in the middle of the cup. Let it be won by some third rate soccer team like Qatar: it will always have an * after its name, and no one will take the winner seriously

The Brits kneel. The Iranian team refused to sing their national anthem. One is worried about being called names. The other will likely be tortured. If every one of the Irian team asked for asylum, I would give it to them.
I believe it is time we ask Britian to pay us back for the money we loaned them for helping them in WWII.

It is called Britain or UK at least get the name right. If we had not held off Hitler almost single handed for a couple of years, getting bombed to bits in the process, and been over run like the rest of Europe. There would have been no platform for the invasion of Europe in 1944.

Did the Football Association know the LAWS in Qatar before they bowed down before them and handed them the World Cup Games?…
Everybody knows what sharia is these days as muslims often like to inform us that ist is coming to your country soon enough but when National Football Teams land in a country such as Qatar they must know the Law of that country and not scream and shout about how wrong they are about homosexual people..
Its their country and their Laws… as awful as they are..
Your Laws in your country and their Laws in theirs…
We are not the moral police of the World.
Many muslim men have sex with other men right up until they get married and even after that as they learned to like it better…
I know that for a fact as they have told me so… and Im not a homosexual.
bill carr says
‘A’ sex is nothing but filth and perversion. How anybody can even think of doing it is beyond understanding
Hank says
The confusion is caused by the new fluid, indefinite term “sexual orientation” added and hijacking everything. It used to be definite and precise terms and definitions like race, skin colour, gender, age, faith.

My guess is that the majority of football fanatics are completely fed up with the whole LGBT etc. business and its posturing and self righteuosness, aka virtue signaling. Same with the taking the knee nonsense. The time to have protested against Quatar was when the stadiums etc. were being built and the workers were being worked to death like slaves. Nobody protested then when the exploitation could have been stopped
or at least reduced and lives saved. The footballers were too busy banking their huge salaries and driving around in their expensive cars.
