For only the second time in six years, the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has received criticism on a local TV newscast.
Sheboygan Wisconsin’s WITI has put CAIR in the context of the “woke mob.”
Although CAIR does not have any direct connection to this story, Jen DeMaster, the lawyer representing City Administrator Todd Wolf, is comparing what has happened to him with her own personal experience.
The Sheboygan Common Council has summarily placed Wolf on paid leave effective immediately without explanation.
“Sheboygan shakeup; city administrator on paid leave, but why?,” byBret Lemoine, and FOX6 News,
“Had no idea. Until the moment that oral motion was read — he had no idea what they were going to do,” said Jen DeMaster, Wolf’s attorney.
DeMaster said Wolf still does not know why he was put on leave or what is being investigated. She said hours before Monday’s meeting, Wolf emailed staff, detailing concerns made by a community diversity group. DeMaster said two members were angry at how Wolf handled another employee using the N-word.
“Both of those women said if you do not pay us money upfront right now, we will oppose you and oppose everything you do,” DeMaster said.
DeMaster said her client’s story parallels her own. Last year, the Council on American-Islamic Relations accused DeMaster of working with anti-Muslim hate groups.
Yes, she worked for the Clarion Project and the American Center for Law and Justice, who the Southern Poverty Law Center denounces as hate groups. CAIR explicitly mentions the movie “The Third Jihad” in its press release denouncing DeMaster.
The Clarion film “The Third Jihad” talks about dangerous, supremacist Muslims including Mansour Dadullah, Omar Bakri Muhammad, Abu Yahya al-Libi, Ayatollah Ahmad Husseini, Yousef Khattab, Adam Gadahn, the government of Iran, Zakir Naik, honor killings, . . . and CAIR.
What groups like Clarion Project and the ACLJ do is distinguish between peaceful Muslims, and the Muslims that present varying degrees of danger to society. CAIR is part of the latter category.
How dangerous is CAIR?
CAIR uses its astonishing media access to get on local newscasts hundreds of times a year to attack ordinary working class Americans at a rate approaching three times a month. We are already at 29 separate attacks this year, with over 100 in the past 6 years.
Notable examples from the past 5 ½ years include:
- CAIR had ABC affiliate WSB defame a sitting judge to influence a legal decision. And even after CAIR’s client received a favorable decision on appeal, and judge Dickson stepping down from the bench to take a lower paying job in another city, CAIR had the TV station follow her there and broadcast their demand the city fire her from that position as well.
- CAIR turned the town of Dearborn against Bill Larion for using the word “camels” in a Facebook post. ABC affiliate WXYZ was a willing participant in Larion’s persecution.
- CAIR turned the town of Toms River, New Jersey against Dan Leonard for mocking, and scoffing at Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Sharia law. CAIR did nothing to calm the situation down after Leonard’s daughter received rape threats.
- CAIR used a rumor on social media to get on TV four times and call for a teacher’s termination while she was under police protection.
- CAIR fired its director in Ohio when it discovered he was passing confidential information about CAIR to a third party. Subsequently, CAIR was on numerous TV broadcasts insinuating that Romin Iqbal was armed and dangerous.
- CAIR called for the firing of a barista for a misspelling on a Starbucks cup.
This year we have seen CAIR:
- try to take away the livelihood of Victor Dubauskas;
- threaten the livelihood of Oak Lawn police;
- completely defame New York City;
- interfere in the trial of Minneapolis police officers;
- threaten the livelihood a college professor for saying something that was corroborated by a CAIR executive director just one week later;
- interfere in the jury trial of the police officers that restrained George Floyd.
Tamar Herman is suing CAIR in New Jersey for its complete disregard for her safety.
And while CAIR is going after Jen DeMaster, school principals, elementary school plays, elected officials, judges, business owners, Facebook groups, etc., it is simultaneously ignoring stories about Muslims trying to join ISIS, honor killing, blowing up Marines, applauding Louis Farrakhan, kidnapping American citizens, blowing up NY subway, plotting to blow up U.S. landmarks for Hezbollah, etc.
Also, there is very compelling evidence that CAIR was the inspiration behind the terrorist incident in Colleyville, Texas this past January. Then, just eight months later, the very same man who was conducting the “Free Aafia” campaign for CAIR was on TV attacking Esmeralda Upton over something that had absolutely nothing to do with him. This was just one example of how TV stations around the country are protecting, and promoting CAIR.
CAIR is not just a member of the “woke mob.” It is a leader of it, as are local TV newscasters. There is no other group on earth that gets on the TV as often as CAIR and tries to push someone out of a job while giving tacit support to violent Muslims.
“There is a blind rage to only adhere to what this woke mob wants – that’s what has to stop,” DeMaster said.
Ms. DeMaster is in touch with the zeitgeist here. CAIR’s TV attacks have to stop. They have been going on for six years. There is absolutely no excuse for it.
And really, only the TV stations can stop it.
Big thanks to Milwaukee’s WITI FOX 6 for taking a second step in that direction.

CAIR is a terror organization straight up. Its officers, members, and supporters are terrorists. They should be treated as terrorists.
