Has the entirety of Britain, and the Western world in general, been afflicted with terminal idiocy? There is no conceivable way that this issue has anything to do with race, unless the Muslims who attend Farooq E Azam Mosque and Islamic Centre are all of one race and Muslims of all other races are barred from the premises.
The adhan, prayed in Arabic, repeats “Allahu akbar,” that is, “Allah is greater,” i.e., greater than you god or anything else that may claim your allegiance, six times, “I testify that there is no god but Allah” three times, and “I testify that Muhammad is Allah’s prophet” twice.
Dr. Gavin Ashenden, former chaplain to the British queen, who resigned his position in protest against a Qur’an reading in a Scottish church, observed that “the Muslim call to prayer is a dramatic piece of Islamic triumphalism. It proclaims Islam’s superiority over all other religions, and in so doing casts Jesus in the role of a charlatan and a liar. The Muslim god, Allah, is unknowable and has no son. Jesus was, therefore, a fraud in claiming He and the Father are one.”
Is Stockton really wise to broadcast repeatedly a declaration of the superiority of Islam, a faith that directs its adherents to make war against Christians and other non-Muslims and subjugate them as inferiors under the hegemony of believers (cf. Qur’an 9:29)?
Is Stockton wise to broadcast the cry “Allahu akbar,” beloved of jihad terrorists the world over? Chief 9/11 hijacker Mohammed Atta wrote this in his letter to himself before carrying out his jihad mission: “When the confrontation begins, strike like champions who do not want to go back to this world. Shout, ‘Allahu Akbar,’ because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers.” This is why the Fort Hood jihad killer, Nidal Malik Hasan, shouted it as he shot thirteen Americans in November 2009, and why so many other jihadis have used it essentially as an announcement that non-Muslims are about to die.
Celebrate diversity!
“Mosque’s weekly call to prayer allowed as ‘campaign to whip up tension’ fails,” by Gareth Lightfoot, Gazette Live, November 24, 2022 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
A mosque’s proposal to broadcast a call to prayer once a week has received overwhelming support from councillors.
The Farooq E Azam Mosque and Islamic Centre asked for planning permission to broadcast the azan call to prayer on Fridays between 12 and 2pm. The call from the mosque on Bowesfield Lane, Parkfield, Stockton would last no more than two minutes and would be no louder than a vacuum cleaner under planning conditions.
As Stockton Council considered the proposal, planning services manager Simon Grundy said officers balanced the right to religious practice with the right of nearby residents to enjoy their homes. He said some might find the amplified call “intrusive”.
But he said conditions to lessen the impact, including the prayer being read just once for no more than two minutes, location of loudspeakers, controls over the decibel level and a noise suppressor, would “strike an appropriate balance”. He said: “With those controls we do not consider there is impact and harm.”…
Councillor Louise Baldock, representing Parkfield and Oxbridge, supported the plan saying the call to prayer would last a much shorter time than churches are allowed to ring bells. “It’ll bring much pleasure to the Muslim community,” she told the committee….
“The majority of the objections seem to be from people who object to the Muslim faith. Some of the comments have been so racist in nature that I’m surprised frankly that we’ve allowed them to be published.
“An anonymous leaflet was circulated, mostly in Hartburn and Oxbridge, asking residents to object to these proposals, part of an orchestrated campaign to whip up tension in the local community. I’m delighted that despite this campaign, so few residents fell into the trap.
“Local people are not objecting in their droves. There are 37 objections, most of them live at least a mile away from the mosque. I’m proud that Stockton is not a racist town.”…

The death of Christianity in the UK, James, or anywhere in the West will inevitably mean the death of that Western nation. Christianity and the greatness of the West are tied at the hip. But you already know this but I am exceedingly tired of people who continue to refuse to learn this. Fools all.
Sad and tragic times we live in. The West is imploding from within. No enemy without is more powerful—not Islam, decrepit and freedom-crushing belief system which it is, not China which never learns, not Russia which never learns, et al. No, the greatest enemy of the West in our time is the enemy within, i.e., Leftism, and which gets nothing, absolutely nothing, right.

I was watching the Mark Steyn show yesterday, and he reported the news of the dean of Trinity College, Cambridge revealing that Christ is transgender. Mark had an interview w/ Rev William Pearson on this

When this is what the leading clergy of England’s official religion is saying, how does one expect Christianity to remain the majority faith even of Englishmen, let alone people who immigrate to the UK? Breitbart had a news that showed that Christians are now a plurality in UK, but no longer a majority, while muslims, who were 2.9% of the population of England and Wales in 2001, are now 6.5%. And just w/ that, they’ve made England look more islamic than ever

UK: Mosque’s weekly call to prayer broadcast approved, objections dismissed as ‘racist’
………………………………………………….
Utter madness. This is not just disruptive–bad enough–but also a call for Muslim supremacy.
And, again Islam is *not* a race. But Muslims have gotten plenty of mileage out of pretending that it is.

Scene 1, Stockton, early on Friday, a muezzin calling wistfully from the tower of a minaret, without a loud speaker.
Scene 2, Constantine, Algeria,, every day, a dawn chorus of 40 muezzin, each with Bang and Olufsen, Beosound speakers.
Scene 3 Twickenham. “May the blood of the impure fertilise our fields” – the Marseillaise.

Let one cockroach to stay in your home and soon you will have a hundred.
Let these morons scream allo snackbar for a short while and soon it will be louder and longer once people get used to hearing it.
muslims in the UK know what they are doing however the people of the UK have no idea what these muslims are doing.
I can see how this is all going to end.
Singapore didnt want to ban the adhan but they told them the speaker must be turned to face INSIDE the mosque and not to the outside… Problem solved.
Dont they all have $1000 Smart Phone these days, let the call go out on that device.
Alkflaeda says
Am wondering what the same council would say if someone like Franklin Graham were to want to organise an old fashioned tent mission, with Christian music. I am fairly sure that the attendees of said mosque would contrive to get it blocked. On racism – there is a sense in which Islam is more akin to a race than (for example) the LGBT community is, and that is that, whilst it may not be genetically mediated, if a person is raised within Islam, and aware of its mandates to kill the apostate, it then becomes much more difficult to identify with any other ideology. That, however, is arguably an internal perspective, and the article addresses the misapplication of race as a concept, a process from which the peddlers of fake “phobias” have gained enormous mileage, by people outside the minority in question.

Once they allow it, the volume will get increased. Just try fighting it then. Of course the councils allow it, they are stuffed full of Muslim councillors.

The pathetic surrender to islam goes on in so many western countries. Hungary and those other Visegrad bloc countries have the right idea. Maybe Italy have turned the corner by putting Meloni into power there, but so many other countries are pathetic in their wimpy surrender. I do like what that Dr Ashenden said as reported in the report. He understands islam’s vile nature. And what a foul noise that Muslim call to prayer is along with its evil message.
Wellington says
For the record, tim gallagher, Barack Obama when he was running for President back in 2008 called the Muslim call to prayer one of the sweetest sounds he had ever heard.
Conclude accordingly as I know you will.
tim gallagher says
Fucking hell!! That was my immediate reaction, Wellington. To me, it is a hideous noise. But I guess to Muslims, they would find that hideous noise a sweet sound because it is all about how their evil version of god,, that vile thing allah, is the greatest. Muslim supremacism and all that bullshit. I imagine that was where the slimy creature, Obama, was coming from. It is a bit surprising that Americans voted Obama in as President when he expressed such a point of view. It would have lost my vote for anyone who said it. Of course, I would never vote for any Democrat anyway in the same way I have never voted for any Australian Labor politician.
