Hello, and thank you for joining us on this very busy news day.
We start with a story of another teacher has been fired in Pembroke Pines, Florida. This time for literally crossing paths with a group of Muslims praying. NBC6’s Amanda Plasencia has the details.
The viral video was posted on TikTok on Wednesday and shows two Muslim students reciting a prayer in Arabic when they’re interrupted by a female voice.
“Hold on, this my office, and y’all doing this magic,” the voice says. “I believe in Jesus so I’m interrupting the floor, excuse me.”
A whistle blows and it appears the person, believed to be the teacher, steps over the praying students.
“And why are they in my office?” she says. “Who told them to come in here?”
Amanda, has the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) issued any statement on the matter?
Wilfredo Ruiz with the Council on American-Islamic Relations denounced what he saw in the video, and says these situations can be prevented by educating teachers on different faiths.
“Over 3 million views of a video showing a intolerance of a teacher towards students is not a good video to be around and being trending. The situation here is that the same in schools or where you work, you can ask for reasonable accommodations to practice your religious beliefs. And, these students most likely asked for this space to pray in congregation as they were doing when unbelievably this teacher who is supposed to be there to protect the children became a bully to the children.” — CAIR-FL’s Wilfredo Ruiz
Amanda, it seems the teacher thought that was her office. In fact, this reminds me of another story from a few years back. Has CAIR said anything about the teacher’s rights to her office and Muslims secretly recording her? Hello? Can you hear us? It looks like we lost our connection with Amanda.
Moving on to our next story: a Muslim City Council member got into an altercation on the streets of Melrose, Massachusetts, and was told to “go back to your country.”
Kimberly Bookman has that story for us.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations says the incident happed at the Shell gas station on the Lynn Fells Parkway Saturday. The Councilor was with her husband and two kids putting air in their car tires and thought a nearby car looked like it was in danger.
“To the person who attacked us I wish you heard me and know why I was looking at you. I thought your car was rolling back and no one was controlling it. So, I was trying to help you.” – Melrose City Councilor, Maya Jamaleddine
The Councilor claims a woman told her to go back to her explicative country. Police and the city’s District Attorney’s office are now investigating whether these acts were criminal.
“These are at the very least hate incidents that need to be publicized so that we can talk about the fact that this sort of thing, you know, goes on in this day and age even in Massachusetts.” – CAIR-MA, Barbara Dougan
The city’s mayor says there is video that shows when the husband stepped in, the woman shoved him.
The Councilor publicly explaining the pain this has caused.
“Your Islamophobic and racism caused my little one trauma, and for that I will not forgive you.” – Melrose City Councilor, Maya Jamaleddine
Well, it seems that clashing with a Muslim, whether you started it or not, will get you on the six o’clock news faster than you can say Howdy Doody. But Kimberly, there seem to be some loose ends here. Why didn’t the City Council member back off when the woman told her to mind her own business? It seems she was escalating the incident by having her husband come into arm’s reach. Why hasn’t the media shown us any of the video he recorded? And haven’t we seen this kind of thing before? Does CAIR have comment about any of that? Oh, we apologize. Apparently we are still having technical difficulties.
Our last story is an update, the eleventh, in fact, to the “hate truck” that drove a digital billboard through the parking lots of several New Jersey Muslim centers.
WCBS shows more detail of one of the images the truck displayed; it doesn’t say anything anti-Muslim. Lisa Rozner is on the case. Lisa, what is going on with this story?
Surveillance video captured a truck displaying anti-Muslim messages driving by congregations.
One congregant took footage of the truck on Route18 north. It comes as there is an uptick in anti-Muslim incidents in New Jersey. The Council on American-Islamic Relations of New Jersey, or CAIR, says there’s been 150 incidents this year alone. That’s 40 more than last year.
We see that CAIR’s New Jersey executive director, Salaedin Maksut, is still saying that he feels intimidated by this incident. And we know that CAIR’s statistics are unreliable. When they do share the supposed incidents of hate, the incidents are things that the police, or even the people affected, do not consider to be hate crimes. Is there anyone else we can talk to?
Dr. Dalia Fahmy, professor of political science is also a congregant at one of the mosques that was targeted.
“Words lead to violence. Middlesex county Muslim community has a very long history of interfaith outreach and communal outreach. So, it’s quite surprising that it would happen here.” – Dalia Fahmy
But Lisa, maybe “it” didn’t happen there. As yet, there is no evidence that anything anti-Muslim or illegal happened at all. And, isn’t Dalia Fahmy the crackpot associate professor who defends the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, and is a frequent speaker at MAS/ICNA events, claiming that Muslims are under attack using the insane Ecuadorian gang-banger Pastuizaca brothers as an example?
It seems we lost Lisa.
We will keep you updated on any developments in this story, and we can report that as yet, police are still investigating, and no charges have been filed.
That’s it for us tonight. We will be back with more news at 7 and 11. Until then this is all of us wishing you a good night and a Merry Christmas. Beware of CAIR on TV.

I sure would like to hear follow up regarding the Pembroke Pines teacher. I thought maybe there might be a go fund me started, or I could at least learn her name. Nothing so far.

I call it Islamic double standards.
I ask one question,
Are Christians/ Westerners/
Non Muslims granted the same levels of freedom in Islamic States that Muslims get and are allowed, in Western countries ?
