Who was directing Twitter’s censorship campaign, anyway? The latest “Twitter Files” release shows that the company worked tirelessly to limit the reach of accounts that dissented from the establishment Leftist line, and now it has come to light that directing the effort was a former FBI and CIA operative. Remember when Old Joe Biden warned us that “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic”? One of the foundations of our republic is the freedom of speech, and never has it been more threatened than during this dumpster fire of an administration’s nearly three years in office.
There is more. Read the rest here.

Shadow-banning will continue under Musk, whom I’m not a great fan of. Tesla started that trend into using heavy, expensive batteries which consume more energy to create than the energy one gets out of them in a lifetime – and after that, good luck disposing of them. Neuralink is another – experimenting w/ substituting human brains w/ microprocessors (hey, maybe that could do wonders if used on Leftists and muslims 😈) He has done well w/ SpaceX, though, and I do see a future for The Boring Company, particularly once hardening the grid becomes a priority
Anyway, back to my point: shadow-banning will continue since Musk has to balance b/w advertizers who are woke and want censorship vs subscribers who don’t. However, one thing different now that he has said is that it will be transparent: if one is shadow-banned, one will know that one has been shadow-banned, and why. I’m not a fan of shadow-banning, but making it transparent is a step in the right direction

Infidel,
Do you have any idea what the “cradle-to-grave” overall environmental impact is comparing two otherwise identical vehicles:
One is battery-powered.
One has a conventional internal combustion engine.
