Jihad contamination and poisoning attempts are not new. In India in 2019, Muslims plotted to poison food offered in a Hindu temple that is consumed by at least 40,000 devotees.
Al-Qaeda has long considered the contamination of food as a jihad mass murder tactic. And in 2017, the Islamic State called on Muslims to poison food in Western supermarkets.
And it has happened at least twice in Britain:
UK: Shop-owners sold chocolate cake sprinkled with human feces
UK: Muslim who sprayed food with feces and urine can’t be deported

We also know that jihadis have long wanted to poison the water supply. As far back as 2002, the feds arrested two jihadis who were carrying plans about how to poison water supplies. In 2003, al-Qaeda threatened to poison water supplies in Western countries. In 2011, a jihadi in Spain likewise planned to poison water supplies.
And in May 2013, seven Muslim “chemical engineers” were caught trespassing at the Quabbin Reservoir, a key supply of water for Boston, after midnight. Only months later and indirectly did we hear that it was a “criminal matter.” A month later, locks were cut at the aqueduct that supplies water to Greater Boston.
Also in May 2013, jihadists were caught in Canada who had considered poisoning air and water to murder up to 100,000 people. In October 2013, the FBI was investigating a possible water supply threat in Wichita. In January 2014, a Muslim broke into a water treatment plant in New Jersey.
“Uttar Pradesh: Video of one Taseeruddin spitting on the dough while making rotis goes viral, arrested,” OpIndia, January 20, 2023 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
On Thursday (January 19), the Tila More police arrested a man named Taseeruddin for preparing spit-filled rotis at a restaurant in the Sahibabad area in the Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh.
While speaking about the matter, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Sahibabad) Poonam Mishra said, “A video was going viral on social media from the area under Tila More police station, in which a man was making Rotis by applying spit.”
“Accused Taseeruddin has been arrested in the case & further legal action is being taken,” she further added.
The matter came to light after a video of Taseeruddin spitting on the dough while preparing Rotis went viral on social media. The roadside eatery was identified as one ‘Madina Hotal.’
In the video, Taseeruddin was caught red-handed indulging in the unhygienic act. The man recording the footage was heard saying, “Why are feeding spit-filled rotis to people? Hindus might be eating it. Even Muslims might be eating it. What is the objective behind serving such rotis?”
A formal complaint was lodged against the accused on Wednesday (January 18). Taseeruddin was booked under Indian Penal Code Sections 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease harmful to life) and 270 (malignant conduct likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life)….

these people are scum. Everything they do is due to their hatred of what is good and right and their lust to follow satan the devil…ignoring the fact they are going to pay a heavy…the heaviest…price for doing so. They enjoy doing evil things.

This is why I will never eat anything with the brand name of Chobani. On a personal trip through Idaho, I became aware of Chobani being headquartered in Sandpoint, Idaho. Until then, I had no problem buying Chobani yogurts, etc. With my discovery of their headquarters, I was curious about the company being in Idaho, so I did some research on who was CEO, etc. Well, I not only found out the CEO/Owner was a Muslim, but he bragged about hiring ONLY Muslims to work at Chobani, with a major reason being they were cheap to pay! I already knew about what the halal preparations of food entailed, particularly meat products, not only how they slaughtered animals for consumption but also the lack of hygiene they kept their slaughter houses in. It was then in Idaho that I decided to pass on all Chobani brands in the future. I’m not surprised at this article.

Chobani is owned by Turks—Turkish Kurds if I remember correctly.
Buy FAGE—It’s authentic Greek yogurt
and the company is owned by Greeks.

Thanks for the recommendation. Will definitely buy it when I need it. Actually, I knew about Chobani’s from a cover article in Costco magazine, and discovered that it was a Turk making Greek yogurt. Since then, I stopped buying it, and have been buying either the Pavel Russian yogurt, or any other Greek yogurts I find. Ironically, I use that to cook a non-halal biryani
One thing I do when I’m shopping – ask for pork. I’m currently in India for a couple of months, and yesterday, I was in a grocery store asking for salami. They showed me some chicken based salami, which I was pretty sure was halal. But instead of asking for non-halal, which I could have done, I asked for pork, which just cannot be halal. It’s a very nuanced difference: asking for non-halal might have given the idea that I am a knuckle-dragging anti-muslim bigot, but asking for pork gives the idea that I’m a very refined connoisseur of Western food 😈
I’m particularly picky about what I buy these days. Anything w/ the halal label is a big no-no! I also avoid things made in muslim countries, particularly Bangladesh, although I have bought some Indonesia made apparel here and there

I had to quit making a couple of my Greek recipes because the ground lamb in my local market was halal certified. Also quit buying Proctor & Gamble products because of their investments in Turkey.
I hope you are having a pleasant stay in India, and a safe trip home.

There is another aspect to halal, which is majorly innovative/’bida’ (itself haram in islam). Traditionally, halal implied cutting the throat of any anymal to slaughter it, similar to the Jewish shibboleth technique (although I heard that even Jews nowadays stun animals before slaughter). But there is a new definition of halal, which is covered by what you describe in Chobanis
Essentially, this definition of halal requires muslims to be present at every stage of the supply chain of a product in order to qualify for a halal certification. Every aspect of this is ‘bida’: certification itself is bida, and so is the concept of supply-chain, which was conceptualized by Booz-Allen Hamilton in the 80s. There was never a definition of halal that required either a certification nor a supply-chain ubiquity: that has been invented over the last decade or so. Which is how one sees a wide range of products – from lipsticks to vegetables – w/ the halal certification, even though there are no halal definitions for such products
Since muslims have this requirement, but non-muslims (aside from Jews) don’t have an equivalent branding requirement of their products, end result is that vendors just make the halal stuff and sell it to everybody, to avoid inventory complications. That is what ends up economically empowering muslims even more than all these decades of oil sales by jihad loving sheikhs and Baathists: muslims are employed in every department of the supply chains of the products we buy, and donate 1/5 of their earnings to zakat. Which in turn bankrolls global dawa and jihad activity. We need to come up at least w/ competitive Haram certifications, if we cannot have Kosher-like standards for Christians, Buddhists, Hindus and so on
I am nowadays particularly picky about what I buy, and check any package for halal certification, and avoid it if it has it. Like I pointed out to Greek Empress above, asking for pork is a good foolproof way of ensuring that something’s not halal.

Memo to Hindus: use UPI (Universal payment interface) to do your transactions, and in the process, see what the vendor is – muslim, Hindu, Sikh, whatever. They may lie about their stalls by decorating them w/ Hindu deities and saffron flags, but when it comes to pay them, simply avoid cash, and tell them you need to use UPI. That pulls up the vendor’s name on your phone, and you see what he is. If you find that he’s muslim, tell him that you need to go and retrieve your password, or some such thing, and disappear from sight. And then keep shopping for the same thing elsewhere
Once we subject muslims to a mass boycott, they’ll get the message and set up shop only in ‘their’ areas
