This “incident” comes on the heels of a Muslim machete attack on cops in New York City. It’s just another of those mysterious incidents that seem to come in groups.
A man who was armed with a large knife was shot and killed by a Cambridge Police officer Wednesday afternoon. It happened after a foot chase in the area of Chestnut Street, police said.
A Cambridgeport resident called 911 at about 1:15 p.m. to report a man jumped out of an apartment window with what appeared to be a machete. The man was then seen cutting himself with the weapon and broken glass from the window he jumped out of.
When police arrived, they located the man later identified as 20-year-old Sayed Faisal behind a building on Sidney Street. Faisal then ran from the area carrying the weapon, which investigators described as a foot long Kukri knife.
A Kukri knife is what the Times Square terrorist used.
“There was a multiple block chase during which he was wielding this fairly intimidating knife,” Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said.
On Chestnut Street, Faisal allegedly moved towards officers with the knife. An officer discharged a less than lethal “sponge round” which did not stop Faisal, Ryan said.
“He continued to advance to the officers holding the knife at one point across his body, and then holding it raised out in front of him,” Ryan said. “A Cambridge officer discharged his department issued firearm and struck Mr. Faisal.”
What was the motive? Oh, mental illness I assume. Isn’t that always the excuse?

A ‘kukri’ knife is a dagger used by Gorkha soldiers in the Indian and British armies. Wonder how that became the weapon of choice of jihadists: did Russia buy back all the Kalashnikovs out there in the market?

Also, please tell us that he was killed?

If you read the article it reports the jihadist was killed in the first paragraph .

“sponge round”….he should have paid attention and he would still be breathing air. No trial needed, no jury or judge to have to hear his spouting of his superiority to them.
He will be admired by his fellow mozlums for his “bravery” and his “martyrdom.” However, in the place to which he quickly went, no praise or admiration.

Suicide by cop. If he shouted “Alahu Akbar”(Islam is peace), he is guaranteed 72 virgins… or raisins.

You might want to check with Mr. Spencer about the meaning of that phrase mozlums shout when on a murderous mission. Hint: it doesn’t mean *islam is peace.*

That’s a wise and quick reaction of the part of that police officer.
