Old Joe Biden offered up some inspiring words Tuesday at a summit meeting with possibly the only two people in the entire world who could make him look wise and eloquent: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. “There can no longer be any question, none, in today’s interconnected world — we cannot wall ourselves off from shared problems,” Biden declared. It wasn’t exactly “Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country,” but it’s about as close as we’re going to get from the empty suit occupying the Oval Office, and it played well to his audience of fellow empty suits. Meanwhile, the big, beautiful, taxpayer-funded wall at Biden’s Delaware beach house has just begun to be built. Consistency? Pah! That’s for conservatives.
There is more. Read the rest here.

He is a fan of the Trump wall.

An old I Love Lucy episode was about Lucy and Ethel trying to get into Richard Widmark’s home. He had a high wall and a big dog. Lucy climbed the wall and was chased by the dog.
Many politicians and other wealthy people…and some with just enough money to cover the expenses involved…live behind high walls, and some have guards at the gates to keep out intruders and pests.
How many of those living behind the walls really care about those of us who don’t have walls and gates and guards?
biden doesn’t give a hoot about those adversely affected by the hordes of illegal invaders…many of whom are young males seeking something other than asylum and hard work.
biden is a spouter of what he once could *think* was to his advantage…putting money and power in his pockets.

A couple of days ago and one street over from my home, border patrol and police from a neighboring town chased a drug smuggler into an arroyo. Despite being assisted by a helicopter, he was able to escape.
I can’t begin to imagine what people in Eagle Pass, El Paso, etc. are going through.
I’d like some border security too, since my tax $ are paying for HIS wall.

I’m sorry that is happening, esp so close to you.
Recently, two people were discovered…one dead, the other near death, in a house a few blocks away from where my daughter and I live. homicide and attempted homicide. It made the local news.
What is happening in your area with the invaders swarming daily should make the national news, but doesn’t and that puts people more at risk. For all practical purposes, there is no Southern border for this country.
If the capitol, wh and other government buildings and agencies were where you live, or in El Paso, Eagle Pass, or even Corpus Christi or Brownsville, there just might be a wall.

How awful! And tragic. So unsettling to have something like this happen in your neighborhood.
Hope you and family are safe and well—

Thank you, GreekEmpress. I would never have expected it, and thankfully, they say they have arrested the suspect most likely. There are a whole lot of homeless people around and many just barely hanging on. People are under a lot of stress and pressures.
We are both okay, thank you. We pray a lot and try to avoid any risky behaviors.
