New in PJ Media:
Rep. Mark Green (R-Tenn.) has been tapped as the new chair of the House Committee on Homeland Security, and even though the new Congress has barely gotten started, he already has the censorious Left up in arms. Newsweek reported last Monday that Trump nominated Green to be Secretary of the Army, but “he ended up withdrawing his nomination from consideration for the role in 2017 after coming under fire for past comments about members of the LGBTQ community, particularly transgender people.” It seems that Green said: “If you poll the psychiatrists, they’re going to tell you transgender is a disease.” Horror of horrors! Everyone can see that men who think they’re women and vice versa are as sane and well-adjusted as the day is long. And now it has come to light that Green has violated Leftist pieties in another way as well: he has a history of making “anti-Muslim comments.”
The HuffPo sounded the alarm on this Thursday, doing its level best to portray Green as a racist, redneck yahoo. HuffPo claimed that Green, whom it identified as “a physician, Iraq War veteran and former GOP state senator,” that is, just the sort of person Leftists abhor, once said “that Iraqis smelled like ‘curry mixed with sweat.’” Sabina Mohyuddin of the American Muslim Advisory Council fumed: “If you hold stereotypes about communities, how can you effectively move on issues that are really nuanced and require a greater understanding of the issues?”
However, Rachel Del Guidice, Green’s communications director, shot back that “some media outlets cut and spliced” what Green said, and added: “Rep. Green has not, and will not ever, force his religion on anyone. He believes that every American has a right to defend their country. Having served three tours of duty overseas during the War on Terror, Rep. Green acted as a steadfast protector of everyone in this nation. Vilifying people of faith because they don’t agree with progressive policies is against America’s founding principles — the very principles he fought to protect.”
The HuffPo, however, wasn’t done. It claimed also that Green “once said he didn’t want students in Tennessee to learn about Islam.” This came up at a Tea Party meeting in 2016, “when an audience member read a passage from a textbook that correctly stated that Muslims believe in all the prophets in the Old and New Testament,” and Green replied, “When you start teaching the pillars of Islam … we will not tolerate that in this state.” According to the HuffPo, Green went on to say that “if students did have to learn about Islam…they should only learn ‘the history of the Ottoman Empire’ and ‘the assault of Islam out into the Levant and North Africa and into Constantinople.’”

It’s a common practice of “news” outlets to splice words others say when writing articles they wish to make appear as something else.
reporters have been known to go to court, listen to testimony, and take out portions of what was said on the stand that they didn’t wish to appear in their reports.
huff and puff and try to blow down anyone who is not afraid to speak the Truth, speak their mind, say what is wrong with the mozlums invasion and what they plan.
islam has no business being taught to the kids because they don’t tell the Truth about it, and their intent is to get the little kids to say that awful lie that will, in the eyes of mozlums, make the kids mozlums too; and to make them believe that their parents, friends, etc. need to covert or die.
It is no more legal to teach islam in school than it is to just read the Bible there. Yet, the huffers and others will listen to their mozlum cohorts and lie like satan to get their way.
And when it comes to smelly odors…we all have ideas about what stinks. It may not be polite to say what stinks, but it is not a crime to say it. And sometimes, it can be a kindness to tell someone about their foul odor.
This man should not be intimidated by the huffer and its mozlum cohorts. Hopefully, he will keep telling the Truth.

Hello, SomeHistory.
Your points might be more cogent if they were expressed in clearer language. Example:
“islam has no business being taught to the kids because they don’t tell the Truth about it”.
You should capitalize the first word of every sentence. Who are “the” kids? The referents of your pronouns “they” and “it” are uninferrable. Why capitalize “truth”?

hi, mark. thanks for the *assistance.*….Truth needs to be said Bold and often…and I write it as I see it. about whatever Truth is being spoken or written.
thanks.

Amen to Truth being worthy of a capital T.

Thank you very much, Hoi Polloi.

Just so you know, Mark, I’ve been typing since I was in my early teens; I took a secretarial course…business typing, etc. typing such as legal briefs, and letters.
I am a touch typist and I know all about capitals and proper grammar in writing.
to get to the nitty-gritty of this topic, I have to say that my eyes don’t always catch when my computer decides not to accept the shift to capital letter…which it frequently does not… and unless I have specifically meant to ensure that the word has an upper case beginning, I don’t really care. I try to put caps on proper names…unless I want to show I have no respect for the person….such as biden, harris, pelosi, etc…but even then, I don’t always manage to do that, and names of commenters get the lower case treatment.
and, beginning sentences are not a concern to me as I am limited in time and energy to make comments, so I focus on what I want to say and not how I might say it under different circumstances.
If you’ve read some of my other posts where I have gotten *personal,* you would know that I have had many eye surgeries, have many autoimmune disorders which sap my energy, and essential tremors which tend to cause me to make typos.
But, thanks again, for the tips on making my comments more **compelling.** Or **credible.**

When the HuffPo is triggered, then Jihad Watch readers already know that Rep. Green is on the right track. However, he needs a little more tutoring by Dr. Bill Warner who is also from Tennessee or from “The Kafir King” himself.

Yes, ME Infidel.
Representative Green is over the target.
Hoi Polloi says
“a physician, Iraq War veteran and former GOP state senator” …. This is what the people behind the curtain want to avoid. My state’s senator has a résumé that does not compare favorably with this physician’s, no solid basis in his claims of ties to my state, who appeared out of nowhere, consistently votes against the wishes of those he claims to represent, and despite all this, never has credible opponents.
Furthermore, we’re not to have a rep who has been to the ME and who knows that presenting such a whitewashed image of islam equates to advocating for islam.

Hoi,
the “left” are the pod people who install their make-believe citizens in all offices where the most damage can be done. any resisters are hunted down and silenced until they can be taken over by a pod.
Hoi Polloi says
Yep, Loudoun County Commonwealth’s Attorney Buta Biberaj is a prime example.
James Lincoln says
Why is it that every time that the Left is enraged, something good is happening?

I wonder if the California Universities will ban the use of RED NECK YAHOO as offensive speak. Oh wait it’s OK if the left media insults people and groups or they are defending the loving and peaceful religion of Islam. Seems like a double standard. I think Rep. Green must have struck a nerve. Keep up the good work Rep.Green.
