After forty years of Islam and the Qur’an, this is what the people of Iran are saying.

That’s it. Well said. Now if only Muslims in all other countries would say the same and ditch islam, this world would become a far better place for all of humanity. 1400 years of islam is more than enough. What a drag on human progress and a decent, pleasant life it has been.

Very interesting, given that this is happening in the Arab part of Iran, where one would have expected them to be more loyal to islam than the other groups – Farsi, Azeri, Kurd or Balochi

So, by rejecting Islam, have these ex-Muslims now joined the oppressor class? This is too complicated. Let’s ignore it and lose the file, along with all the ideologically discordant stuff taking place in Nigeria.

I read somewhere that only 40% of Iran’s population adhere to the Quran. Therefore, it proves that there is a 60% silent majority who are obviously scared of the barbaric Islamic police. Sooner or later, the people will overthrow the regime.

Yeah, this was a survey in 2020 that showed that islam had fallen to 40% of the population. Sunnis held their own numbers, but shia had gone down from 90% to 32%. Atheists, Agnostics and None together made up 35%, while Zoroastrianism – the original religion of Persians – was somewhere at 8% – #2 after shi’a, but exceeding sunnis
There are many in Iran today that still remember the freedoms they had before the revolution. They remember the days they could let their hair down, or wear a short skirt, or even sunbathe on the beach in a bikini.
They remember how much better life was back in the good old days, and they want them back again.

I doubt that there are that many left – those people would also have remembered the Pahlevis and their crackdowns on the people, which is what drove some of the Khomenei popularity in the first place. But most of the people have no memory of the Shah, and have only experienced Khomenei or Khamenei, and are revolting against them
Best part of it is that they are also throwing off islam. I do hope that they don’t discard islam for Communism, b’cos that would leave the door open for a return to islam when Communism fails. Instead, they should explore Zoroastrianism, and also throw the door open to Buddhism, Judaism and Christianity

I agree with you to some extent Infidel, most people in Iran today don’t remember life before the revolution, but there are still many that do. You only have to go on Youtube and there is a lot of footage of life in the 60’s and 70’s in Iran showing girls in bikinis and short skirts. The same also apply’s to Afghanistan.
I also agree with you that the “best part of it is that they are also throwing off islam,” which in its self is a positive step.
However the protesters have not won this battle yet.

I pray for Iran to be transformed into what it was before this OPRESSION took over. Never has there been such N-Islamic government. This is NO RELIGION just political oppressions. May other lands in the same “pickle” escape and reform into people loving countries and be an example to them of good will.

I’d go way before that: Iran was still muslim, if not islamic, under the Pahlevis. They should instead switch preferably to Zoroastrianism, and explore other faiths, like Christianity, Buddhism and Judaism to totally de-islamify

The entire foundation of Islam and that tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran ,with its official title of ”The Islamic Republic of Iran” is the Qu ‘ran which instructs in Violence and killing for the cause of Islam, 2;191. 95,123. 47:4 , a very important question needs to be raised , which is “Is the Qu ran truly Divine or is it a hoax ?
The answer to that question had been revealed on pages 145 through 157 in THE ISLAMIC INVASION by Robert Morey in which he wrote a section on the Qu‘ran with its self-contradictions. Just two of the many he cited are the following “The Qu’ran differs on whether a day is a thousand years or fifty thousand years in God’s sight’ and “Who was first to believe? Abraham or Moses [Sura 6:14 versus 7:143]?
The above is inconsistent and illogical. Further, Morey wrote about “The fact that Judaism and Christianity broke up into different sects was used in the Qu ‘ran to prove that they are not of God [Suras 30:20-32. 42:13, 14]. Yet Islam has broken up into many warring sects and therefore cannot be true if the Quran is right.”
Moreover, Morey in his book shows many more contradictions and absurdities in the Quran, there are and how Muhammad incorporated extra Biblical and Jewish folklore along with pre-Islamic Arabian myth and parts of Zoroastrian and Hindu stories into the Quran.
Furthermore, the Muslims claim that “the Quran is the direct, literal word of God unmodified in any way by the Prophet who uttered them at the bidding of God.” In addition , in the book UNVEILING ISLAM by Ergun Mehmet Caner and Eethi Caner has shown that the Quran was modified in the following account on pages 45. “Muhammad felt the need to improve on the words of Allah, since he changed Allah’s wisdom for his own on several occasions. A hadith tells of the nonchalant emendations of Muhammad:’ On a number of occasions he [a scribe] had, with the Prophet’s consent changed the closing words of verses. For example, when the prophet had said ‘God is mighty and wise ‘ Adbollah b. Abi Sarh suggested writing down ‘Knowing and wise’ and the Prophet answered that there was no objection. Having observed a succession of changes of this type, Adbollah renounced Islam on the grounds that revelations, if from God could not be changed at the prompting of a scribe such as himself. After his apostasy he went to Mecca and joined the Qorayshites.’ Other writers reveal that later Muhammad and his people did go war with the Qorayshites and he personally killed Abdollah. Obviously Abdollah knew too much and Muhammad wanted Abdollah’s knowledge to die with him.”
In conclusion, the Qu ‘ran is not only a fiction, it’s also a hoax and those dictators of that Islamic tyranny of Iran have a false foundation upon with their regime is build.
Even though the above essay was posted before, it should now be added that the last statement of the above that “the Qu ‘ran is not only a fiction, it’s also a hoax.” To put this in a Biblical way. As in from the Bible, it may be truly explained that the Qu ‘ran is a deceptive work of “the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.” Ephesians 14:12.. [N.I.V.]
