This story illustrates the impotence and ridiculousness of the UN’s response to the global jihad.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres “strongly condemned the attack.” El-Ghassim Wane, the head of MINUSMA, said: “I strongly condemn this attack.”
Who cares? Was anyone really wondering if Antonio Guterres, El-Ghassim Wane or MINUSMA were actually in favor of jihad murder? These condemnations that always follow jihad attacks give the officials who issue them the appearance of doing something, but they’re actually empty, meaningless, and downright insulting. It should be taken for granted that the UN is against jihad. Oh, wait…
Also, the UN warned that “attacks against U.N. peacekeepers may constitute war crimes under international law.”
Oh, that’ll make them stop. Does the UN not know, or just not care, that Islamic jihadis have nothing but contempt for “international law,” and aren’t going to see warnings that they’re breaking it as any kind of deterrent?

Jihadi violence linked to al-Qaida and the Islamic State group has wracked Mali for a decade and left thousands of people dead. The war-torn West African country is one of the world’s most dangerous places with a peacekeeping mission.
For the ninth consecutive year, Mali had the most peacekeepers killed while deployed there, the U.N. reported in January. Including the peacekeepers from Tuesday, 168 have been killed in the country since 2013, according to the U.N….

To gravenimage- I hate Islam too. It is a disaster for humans to follow Islam, both doctrinally and behaviorally, no matter where in the world humans are. Islam spells t-r-o-u-b-l-e not peace.
