There’s no room in NYC for Teddy Roosevelt, for plenty for the racist leader of the Nation of Islam.
Nation of Islam leader Elijah Muhammad headed a racist movement that believed white people were subhuman and doomed to be exterminated. His successor as leader of the original theological movement, Louis Farrakhan, is one of the country’s most notorious bigots.
The same city which tore down the famous statue of Theodore Roosevelt outside the museum that he helped found, because he was “controversial”, just decided to name a block after Muhammad.
The New York City Council on Thursday approved a plan to name a Harlem block in honor of Elijah Muhammad, the controversial late leader of the Nation of Islam.
The bid to name the intersection of W. 127th St. and Malcolm X Boulevard as “The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad Way” proved the most contentious element of a Council bill drawn up to tag honorary names on 129 public spaces in the city.Muhammad, a Chicago religious leader who described white people as “devils,” is seen by some Americans as an inspirational figure for his work championing Black empowerment. But critics view him as a voice of racism and antisemitism.
If you don’t approve of a street named after a racist…you’re a racist.
Councilwoman Kristin Richardson Jordan, the far-left Harlem Democrat who proposed the street naming for Muhammad, said the honor is “way overdue.”
“It is actually not OK to erase Black leaders who are not pleasing to white people,” Jordan told her colleagues during the full Council vote. “I profoundly vote aye on Elijah Muhammad Way.”
Beyond being less than “pleasing” to all the people he hated, Elijah Muhammad was an ally of the KKK.
Both the Klan and the NOI, Muhammad summarized, opposed integration and race mixing. Each group was on record as opposing the goals of the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr., although for separate and unequal reasons. The Muslims viewed King as a chief rival. The Klan saw him as a dangerous threat to white hegemony. Moreover, Muhammad allowed for no “hierarchy” among Caucasians on the issue of white supremacy; from the sitting U.S. president to the imperial wizard, all were slammed as “white devils.”
Accordingly, the Messenger told his two ministers in Chicago that day that the Muslims and the Klan indeed had similar goals but with different shading.
“We want what they want,” Jeremiah remembered the Messenger stating plainly.
The Nation of Islam had a secret pact with the KKK. And a not-so-secret one with the Nazis.
In 1961, Elijah Muhammad, founder of the black supremacist Nation of Islam, met with Ku Klux Klan leaders at the Magnolia Hall in Atlanta. Although they had different ideas about the skin color of the master race, they shared the belief that blacks and whites should stay separate.
The following year, Muhammad invited American Nazi Party chief George Lincoln Rockwell to address a Nation convention in Chicago, even though Rockwell had often called blacks “the lowest scum of humanity.”
Flanked by a dozen storm troopers in swastika armbands, Rockwell told an audience of 5,000 Nation devotees that he was “proud to stand here before black men. … Elijah Muhammad is the Adolf Hitler of the black man.”
Democrats are fine with this.
Later in the day, Council Speaker Adrienne Adams declined to take a position on honoring Muhammad, but said the legislation celebrates a collection of “extraordinary individuals.”
“For the most part, the requests that come in for street co-namings are at the behest of what the community wants,” the Queens Democrat told reporters. “So you’d have to ask the member and her community about that.”
“We stand on what the community wants,” Adams added.
Councilman Charles Barron, a Brooklyn Democrat and one-time member of the Harlem branch of the Black Panther Party, loudly defended Muhammad’s inclusion in the legislation.
Barron charged Thursday that opponents of the Muhammad co-naming had not brought the same energy to pushing back against street names that honor American slaveholders.
“You’re all right with Washington Ave., Jefferson St.,” Barron said, referencing streets named for George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, two slaveholders. “You said nothing.”“But when it came to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, there was some resistance,” Barron said. “But I’m glad that this body didn’t allow for that contradiction of resistance to take place.”
Ladies and gentlemen, the Democrat Party.
As someone pointed out, the block intersects with Malcolm X Boulevard whom Muhammad had killed.
Take it from Brother Malcolm.
Why are they threatening your life?
MALCOLM X: Well, primarily because they afraid that I will tell the real reason that they’ve been — that I’m out of the Black Muslim movement, which I never told, I kept to myself. But the real reason is that Elijah Muhammad, the head of the movement, is the father of eight children by six different teenage girls, six different teenaged girls who were his private personal secretary.
There’s no room for Teddy Roosevelt in New York City, but a red carpet for this black supremacist filth.

Modern Western liberalism, call it Leftism if you like, on display again as stupid and vile.
And imagine this hypothetical: Teddy Roosevelt coming back to life and in charge of America versus Elijah Muhammad coming back to life and in charge of America. Which do you think would be better for America not only by a mile but by a thousand miles?
And proving again that an oppressed group (and black Americans in previous ages were put down and there is no getting around this) does not seek equality with the oppressor but desires to become the new oppressor.

It there happened to be an award for stupid and evil, this street naming thing would be at least in the running for top spot.
Wouldn’t be a bit surprised if one day, they gave awards for stupid and evil, calling it intelligent and righteous, because they are all fulfilling Isaiah 5:20

They’re tearing down statues of Columbus, Jefferson, Washington is NYC, because the WOKE said they were racist, then they name a street after the father of Black Racism……can you say Hypocrites, as NYC has got some of the dumbest and most racist people living there….

If you dumb enough to still live in NYC after experiencing the horribly-humid summers, bone-chilling winters, the perpetual smell of garbage, omnipresent graffiti, and overall rudeness of its arrogant denizens (who were too cowardly to move West with the pioneers for open land and air, they deserve to die in that Sewer!

Bob, they’re not true Americans in NY, and New Jersey is an dangerous immigrant outpost. My opinion now is just because they’re here, doesn’t make them Americans – no matter their visa status. We must realize the mobs of lunatics have taken over. We’re going to have to get them out! Remember, we fight for our country, we don’t just lie down and wait, like the Brits and French governments are doing.
We need to make an alliance with willing countries to stop all of this, with no communists or Islam or CCP invited. I look forward to the end of this administration. We should be taking names.

This guy shouldn’t be deciding anything for anyone:
““You’re all right with Washington Ave., Jefferson St.,” Barron said, referencing streets named for George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, two slaveholders. “You said nothing.””
It should be apparent, but evidently he doesn’t think, that those people now “resisting” the naming of the street after a racist killer, were not around during the naming after George and Thomas.
Had they been, they might have been as those who were and given the streets the same names.
Which is worse….a slave-owner or a racist murderer?
What next from these idiots celebrating and honoring evil?

For the record, George Washington left instructions in his will that his slaves be freed after the death of Martha, his wife,
who died a couple of years after him.
Washington’s slaves did get their freedom.
But Thomas Jefferson only freed 7 slaves.
The remaining slaves did not get their freedom but were sold off to pay
Jefferson’s debts upon his death.

I wonder whether any enterprising sunni muslim would perk up and object on the grounds that the NOI is actually unislamic, and hates the wrong people. I mean, white converts to islam would be okay w/ our classical jihadists, but enemies of NOI b’cos of their race
OLD GUY says
It’s just a slap in the face of todays white men and women who had nothing todo with slavery. Changing the name of a block or a building is not improving black lives. If you want to change black lives build your communities into something to be proud of, rather than burning them down.

It’s incredible how old the same people who were offended by Trump with their fake means racism don’t seem to be offended at all by this black Hitler. The way I see it the only difference between Elijah Muhammad, Louis Farrakhan an Adolf Hitler is that the first two were unsuccessful in gaining power in carrying out the same agenda.
What’s even more incredible is that the NYC council had a vote of 47 to 0 meaning not one councilmember voted against this bill. The council members made these racist antisemites their heroes and gave them honor. What does it say about them?
When these hypocrites talk about all the things that offend them I have deaf ears now because I have seen the light. I did not support desegregation and integration in order to swap a set of white bigots for a set of black bigots.

I remember seeing a video, on YouTube, back before 2011, can’t remember what year exactly. It was Malcolm X TERRIFIED, saying that he was or had left the group, and that they were going to kill him. Yet, these black Supremacists, lie and say he was killed by the government or white people. I wish I had saved that video. Islam are pathological liars and we must change whatever necessary to deport them. We must call out all these terrorist groups like NoI, Muslim Brotherhood, Black Panthers and Farrakhan- and register them as terror groups. They should also have all access to the US banned. Our next president must be given a list of demands regarding Islam and stop them dead in their tracks. Most of them have no right or business being in the US, or any European nation.
Or should we wait until they rise up against us, kill us and take over the country? That is their plan, and if anyone denies it they are just completely uneducated about them, or they are stupid. I notice most people are clueless, especially the black community, where Islam is using them to hate and gaslight them to start the war. They figure they’ll use them for the initial work, while they burrow down while the country is distracted by just another black guy that murdered people. Anyone have an opinion on this? Is everyone ready for Ramadan BombAthon?
Also, ISIS is said to make an appearance this Ramadan BombAthon. They will strike America to attack us, much worse than 9.11. They say they’re going to target Christians, which is telling, because they’ve been targeting everything Jewish all along, so that’s of course included. It make sense because what they’ve been saying in Israel for decades “First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people.” Joe Biden and his administration has much to answer for! If you want to know what really going on SUBSCRIBE TO THE US STATE DEPARTMENT EMAILS. DO NOT WAIT. LOVE THIS COUNTRY? Do it please. You will be STUNNED and SICKENED by what they’re doing – but NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW ABOUT IT! Robert and Hugh, please do this. These groups are so well organized while we true Americans ARE NOT. We need an organization that will fight like they do – at least! What good is it to sit and expose these crimes if nothing is going to be done?
I welcome any ideas…

The American *Nation of Islam* is regarded as grotesque and heretical by all Orthodox Muslims.
SJ says
Sorry Billy. If that’s true, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Never a peep from ‘American’ muslims. Not even with regard to ISIS. As long as they get the job done by destroying nations – they’re fine with that. We’re not stupid.
