Video: Hatun Tash and Robert Spencer on the Spread of Islam from the Umayyads to Ottomans, 661 to 1453

Yes–Islam has a long, ugly history. And it has not changed its basic tactics.

Having gone through a good part of ‘Did Muhammad exist?’, I have a theory about where the invasions started. Assuming that RS is right about there being no activity in Mecca or Medina during the time Muhammad is supposed to have lived, it’s worth analyzing where the Arab conquests started
One thing that’s puzzling is that if it started in Medina, how did the Arabs first take Damascus, and that too so easily that there wasn’t any resistance, if at all? And how did they bypass Petra, Jerusalem and all Jewish lands and get directly to Damascus? It’s like someone in DC who has work in both Philly and NYC to first go to NYC and then Philly. Very unlikely, and even more so in that desert heat of the 7th century
I had read somewhere that at the time, there was friction b/w the Syrians and the Byzantines, since the former started to follow a version of Christianity that rejected the divinity of Christ. That may have led to a revolt in Damascus, backed up maybe by Arab tribes from what’s today Jordan and northern Arabia, and it succeeded easily thanks to the wars b/w the Byzantines and the Sassanids. Following that, they may have overrun Palestine and Egypt in order to prevent the Byzantines from a rearguard attack on Damascus, and also an eastward attack on Iran to destroy the Sassanid threat. This would also explain all the Syraic influence in that literature
Fast forward to the Abbasids, and when they put together islam, the reason that the ‘gates of ijtehad’ were closed was that these were the original authors of islam, and decided to pour concrete on that foundation. As a result, there was no compromise. Once codified, islam was probably then spread throughout the Arab empire, including the Arabian peninsula, Syria, Egypt, Mahgreb and Andalusia
Essentially, only the muslim history after the Abbasid/Samanid alliance is reliable
Islam is the fastest growing religion in the US and the UK. How about a discussion about how to stop and even end this fastest growing religion in the years 2023 to 2030?

Well I tried to post on Facebook the information of Roberts Spencer and then was permanently banned! Our American population haven’t a clue about their savagery and dishonest dealings. Of course, unfortunately most people today will take money because they need it. And not know or ask questions about where it comes from or ask questions! A true obstacle for beating this evil come upon us.

Turkey had a big celebration last year to mark the 950th anniversary of victory at Manzikert. They also mention that victory in a Turkish military video last year. This caught my eye after reading Robert’s book about Manzikert.

I mean in 2021. Not last year.
