Classy: Fake Girl Defeats, Mocks Real Girls at Track Meet

The first thing you need to know about Chloe Barnes is that he is a boy. But he knows the quick path to fame and fortune in today’s Age of Absurdity, and so he claims to be a girl. While Chloe might have been a mediocre male athlete, he is now a champion female one. He towers over his teammates on the Brookline High girls’ indoor track and field team, and with Chloe leading the way, they’ve just won the Massachusetts High School State Finals.

Chloe is hardly magnanimous in victory. His message to those who might still have the temerity to regard his presence on what is supposed to be the girls’ team as an affront to genuine women, as well as to fairness, decency, and common sense? Defiance and contempt: “Deal with it,” Chloe taunted the losers of the culture war. “Just deal with it.”

The winsome and demure Chloe, according to a Tuesday Breitbart report, “joined the team this season as a varsity runner. He helped the school win the 4×200 meter relay (with a time of 1:50.43) at the Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association Northeast Invitational on January 14 this year.” He had no trouble whatsoever with his competition, which was made up of actual girls, and Chloe seemed to revel in how easy it all was. The Breitbart report adds that “a video of the race shows Barnes easily running far ahead of the natural-born girls he is competing against, allowing his teammates to stay safely in the lead for the race.”

His physical superiority over his competitors was so overwhelming, and Chloe so apparently lacking in any kind of graciousness, that he teased the other runners in the middle of the meet: he “can even be seen slowing down at least twice and looking behind at the female runners he was leaving in the dust.” Yet even with Chloe slowing down, the real girls couldn’t catch up to him and likely went home thinking about what a sweet guy he was and how magnanimous in victory.

Chloe Barnes’ presence on the girls’ team represents a deepening of the general understanding of the extent to which we must all coddle this insanity. Back in June 2022, the Brookline High newspaper, The Cypress, reported that at that time, Chloe competed “alongside the boys track and field team.” The paper helpfully explained that this was due to the fact that Chloe “wasn’t assigned female at birth.”

  2. The best reverse case of this was some months ago when a woman pretending to be a man took part in a men’s event, and got owned!

  3. Dammit!!! Why wasn’t I born a few years later. When I was running the 400 in the 70s I failed in every race I ran. I usually came 2nd! Had I been born in the 1990s I would have called myself a girl, shaved off my beard and run in female races. I would have a national champion, run in the Olympics! I would have been a legend!!!

  4. And he gets to parade around the girl’s locker room, with his junk on display. That’s where he really is. Shocking the girls and then beating them as if he was truly like them.

    Reading this reminded me of the tortoise and hare. The hare kept looking back, taking a nap, and the tortoise won. making the hare a loser. Which is what this barnes clown is…a lying, big loser. he may have crossed the finish line first, but he’s a loser, nevertheless.

    • Actually, one US concept that I could never assimilate was this practice of walking around nude in locker rooms. Years ago, my employer had free tickets to a gym in Santa Clara, CA, and I went there a few times. When I walked in the locker room, I winced at so many naked men walking around, sitting on the sofa watching TV, and so on. When I’d get out of the swimming pool and wipe myself, I’d go to my locker, have a towel wrapped around me, take off the swimshorts, wipe myself, put on my underwear and then the rest of my clothes and then do anything

      As an immigrant, I have assimilated in a few things, but this locker room culture ain’t one of them. I happen to live alone, and even at home, I don’t walk around the house naked, where there’s noone watching me. To this day, I have yet to figure out how people are comfortable being nude around other people

      • I’m with you on this subject. I’ve never been able to figure out why so many want to have others look them over in the all-together.

        Long ago, we had to “dress-out” for phys-ed, and almost all of the girls were very shy about changing in the presence of the other girls.

        There is a word for those who like to parade around naked before others. For the life of me, I can’t think what that word is, but James Lincoln could likely supply it. You may already know the word.

  7. Dennis Prager gave the best explanation of why the Left is pushing for the claims that these men are women because their gender was wrongly assigned at birth. The left claims boys can become girls and vice versa. If a boy can be on the girl’s team, it affirms that people can change their sex, or they can be born in the wrong body and correct this error through wishing, or doping or surgery. Whatever is accepted as the magic wand of sex change. So the left has to insist it is ok for males to compete against women and join womens teams. If they were not allowed to, it would be a sign that no one believes the leftist scam. And people on the left are conformists, they would never go against the ruling ideology and agenda. People could start challenging the ideology of gender in every domain of society. And the left cannot allow that to happen. Everything they say has to be defended. Like Churchill said, the truth is so important it has to be defended by a bodyguard of lies. And of course false gender ideologies get the same defense.

  9. Can someone please tell me how letting trans (pretend) females compete in REAL women’s sports helps REAL women?

    • I think the point is that once women’s equality was achieved, for all practical purposes, people whose only talent was in activism and agitation needed a new cause, and so latched on to this one!

      As Andrew Wilkow said a few months ago, the ‘slippery slope argument’ ain’t a logical fallacy: it’s a trend line. Back in the day, I used to be against gay marriage but for civil unions, but I now see that going any distance to satisfy the mob just leaves them howling for more. Recently, Megyn Kelly had a conversation w/ Matt Walsh about Leah Thomas and his statement that partial acceptance of Trans but disallowing them into women’s sports was not acceptable, and that it should be all or nothing, to which both of them said that in that case, it should be nothing

  10. I looked up trans ideology in Google. It seems it started with a sociologist named John Money in the sixties. I suppose it complements the social construction of everyday life, which goes back to Berger Lukman. People in the social sciences quote social constructionism constantly. In other words, things like sex and gender are made up, and anyone can make it up as they like. It is like the institution of marriage or coming of age rituals. Somehow the left seized on it to make hay. They have a new vicimized identity group, the trans-people. Well, there might be a few men whose brains are hardwired to think as women, so they are women inside. But a lot of these people are almost certainly imposters trying to get unearned celebrity by pretending they have a right to compete in female sports, where they take home most of the honors. They are sometimes sadistic and rub their superiority in on women they cheat out of honors. Like schoolyard bullies. The rules should be explicit, female sports are for female bodies, not for female psyches. Even if these men could be hardwired to think like women, they should not be allowed to compete against women. Very simple, and equitable too.
