“DeSantis does not respect American values.”
I remember when the media was defending Islamic terrorists. It’s a short step to making them our moral guides.
DeSantis ‘is not a good guy,’ says former Guantánamo detainee
I don’t know about you, but when I set out to decide who’s a good guy, I ask former Guantánamo detainees, followed by serial killers, pedophiles and mass shooters.
Mansoor Adayfi, a 40-year-old Yemeni national now living in Serbia, wrote, “I need to face this guy, face-to-face,”
“I don’t think he is a person suitable to be the president of the United States,” Adayfi told Yahoo News in a series of interviews. “He’s not a good guy.”
Although Adayfi’s accusations have recently found traction in publications such as The Washington Post, the claims may prove of little consequence for a DeSantis campaign…
Guantánamo, Adayfi argues, is a stain on the nation’s record, and on the record of anyone who served there without objection. “The problem,” he says, “is that DeSantis does not respect American values.”
And who better to tell us about American values than this guy?
Attorneys like DeSantis were sent to Guantánamo Bay to offer reassurance that whatever was happening there had legal justification. Their presence became especially critical as detainees launched a hunger strike in 2005 to protest the conditions in which they were held.
Adayfi emerged as an informal cell block spokesman during the hunger strike.
He had been picked up by U.S. forces in Afghanistan in 2001. Now, he claims that he was there to conduct field research in tribal areas. But in a declassified transcript of a legal hearing that took place in November 2006, Adayfi painted an entirely different picture of himself. “I’m a Muslim jihadist and I’m defending my religion and my family,” he said.
The pre-Obama Gitmo review went much further than that, before the Obama people began rushing all the Jihadists out the door. A process that continues under Obama.
Detainee is an admitted member of al-Qaida who possessed prior knowledge of the 11 September 2001 attacks as well as other planned attacks against US interests…
Osama bin Laden tasked detainee and a small group to establish an al-Qaida base of operations in Yemen upon the event of al-Qaida’s extrication from Afghanistan (AF). Detainee is associated with senior al-Qaida leaders, and acknowledged receiving basic militant training at al-Qaida’s al-Faruq Training Camp, and specialized terrorist training including suicide operations. Detainee admitted staying in al-Qaida guesthouses, is listed on multiple al-Qaida affiliated documents…
Detainee and his chosen group traveled to Kabul, AF where they received training to resist interrogation and torture.
There’s the media’s pet expert on American values and who the good guys are. Do we need to know anything more about the media and who our internal enemies are?

How very stupid….and evil….are these people and those who support, aid, abet, give a hearing, give credence, and publish as if we should all just listen intently and act according to what they blabber.
He’s not an American. He’s from yemen and lives in serbia. If not for his friend and co-worker, bo, he’d likely still be incarcerated…as he should be…or whacked to prevent any more terrorism from him.
So, who should listen to him about who should be president of America?
This evil scum wants someone such as bo to fake being president of the U.S., while assisting the rest of the planet’s evil scum to invade, rape and murder their way to power.
As for deciding who is a “good guy,” I look again to the Prophet Isaish (one of the **real** prophets) and the 5th chapter of the book he wrote.
“Woe to those putting evil for good, and bitter for sweet.”
This ugly son of the devil…and how could so many act in the same ways, believing and saying the same things, without a master manipulator, planner and deceiver…sees someone acting in the best interests of the innocent as ”not a good guy,” and views his fellow terrorists…and himself….as the good guys because they follow a mass-murdering, psychopathic raper of children, lying sack of maggot dung, slave-trading thief.

One thing that puzzles me about this story: why did Serbia, which has had a good portion of its heritage heartland pried from it on the account of muslims, bother to shelter him? Had I been running that country, I would have, even if out of pure spite, made it illegal for muslims to be anywhere in that country, even if it meant cutting off ties w/ Europe
As for the rest of the story, it works in DeSantis’ favor that the ex-detainees don’t think highly of their ex-guard. However, I would be interested in knowing his views on islam, muslims and what our policy on them should be before I even think of supporting him. Trump at least had that limited travel ban: whoever the next president is needs to reinstate that, and add more countries to the list, particularly Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey and Bangladesh

Who gives a F what this terrorist thinks. I’m fact it would make me want to vote for DeSantis. What an idiot to think Americans care what he thinks,
