It’s back in the news again, although not prominently: jihadi prison gangs are cultivating an entire army in UK jails. Years ago, British prisons were dubbed “jihadi training camps.” Fox News noted in 2016 that “the UK has learned the hard way, after a number of terror attacks were carried out by people radicalized in prison.” Jihadi gangs have escalated their operations in jails; along with the violent conversions of inmates, they are also establishing makeshift Sharia courts in cells. \
These gangs operate under a familiar law-of-the-jungle premise:
“Failure to identify as a Muslim meant that at best the new prisoner would be denied ‘protection’ from the dominant Muslim gang on that wing, or at worst the new prisoner would be subjected to violence and intimidation from that same gang.”
The ramifications of jihadists dominating prisons are disturbing; they are indoctrinating and training new jihadists, who will take their mission of jihad outside the prisons once released. And where are the prison overseers as these jihadi troops are being recruited and trained? The most likely answer is that they’re just as intimidated as the politicians.

In 2002 just 8 per cent of prisoners identified as Muslim compared to 18 per cent in 2021.

I saw the report on officialdom.It is not racism but shere ignorance. Anybody who cannot tell the difference between Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs must be either very stupid or blind, as they go to great lengths to demonstrate who they are and to which faith they belong. These people need to be given serious additional training or fired

So, the muslims who are criminals and in jail are actually are devout muslims. Islam is certainly a suitable religion for criminals like rapists, murderers, pedophiles etc.

USA has the same problems with gangs running the prisons and ven carrying on their crimnal activities from inside prison

I’m not sure if this is a good idea or not, but the UK should at least explore the idea of separate prisons for muslims.
At least that would stop the conversion of infidels to islam.
