While they were doing all this, they believed they were performing a righteous act, because the Qur’an says: “Make ready for them all that you can of force and of warhorses, so that by them you may strike terror in the enemy of Allah and your enemy…” (8:60)
“Eyes gouged out, shot at 9 bullets, stabbed 10 times: Read how the Taliban tormented a former female Afghan police personnel,” OpIndia, May 3, 2023:
A gut-wrenching tale of a former female police officer in Afghanistan has come to light. Khatera Hashmi along with her two-year-old daughter was at a National Association for the Blind (NAB) campus in Delhi where she narrated her horrific ordeal in a recent interview.
She stated that despite being married at a minor age and lacking any formal schooling, she nevertheless chose to join the police department which infuriated the Taliban and they retaliated in the most brutal manner.
“My father got me engaged at the age of seven and got me married at the age of twelve to a much older man because he was money-grubbing. I wanted education, but the former didn’t allow it. Nonetheless, I made the decision to join the Afghan police. The Taliban started calling and threatening me due to their opposition to a woman being police personnel,” she said.
“The incident happened in the early months of 2020 when the Taliban were rapidly advancing to take over Afghanistan. I was pregnant at that time. One day, when I was walking home from the police station, they attacked me. My body was struck by 9 bullets, in addition to 10 knife stabs. They also cut out my eyes after I passed out,” she revealed the shocking details of the Taliban’s barbarity.
“When I awoke five days later, everything was pitch black. I had absolutely no vision. I was only able to work as a police officer for three months, and I wasn’t even able to view my first paycheck,” she narrated her tragedy.
Her body is still covered in tiny gunshot fragments which cause her frequent pain. The doctor attempted to get rid of them and gave her multiple injections of medication. Moreover, two gunshots are lodged in her head. She is unsure of when they will be taken out and is undergoing treatment. She also forgets many things when conversing because of the agony and has to pause for a while.
She has stone eyeballs on both sides. “Earlier, they were sutured and it used to be excruciatingly painful. My eyes were always watery,” she mentioned.
Referring to her daughter she unveiled, “I’ll never be able to see how she looks or appears when she laughs. I went blind before she was even born. Now, I can only envision her in my mind. I couldn’t even fathom that she would be born healthy.”…
Her current husband works in Delhi, but her first spouse, two sons and a daughter are still in Afghanistan. “In addition to my parents, my first husband, two sons, and a daughter are presently living in Afghanistan. My son is frequently asked by the Taliban if I have gone back to Afghanistan. I don’t know why they are still after me,” she wondered.
“My first husband is above eighty. I remarried after he divorced me. He wanted more children, but the doctor cautioned him that it was not feasible given his advanced age. Later, he sold everything he owned and I had nowhere to go. I then got married to a man of my choice. He is the one who brought me to India after the Taliban attacked me,” she professed….

I hope she is able to bring her children to India to be with her.

She has led a horrible life….due to the initial mistreatment by her *father* and then her *husband.* Both were in positions where normally there is love for the child and then for the wife. Given over to an old mozlum male to be raped….No child should go through that.
It’s a wonder she survived all of the things the taliban snakes did to her. They want her back so they can finish the job.
It’s really good that she found someone who would take her out of that horrible situation and help her live elsewhere with her daughter. Hopefully, her other children will be able to join her in the near future.
the “father” and the “husband” and the taliban, all have much for which to answer. They have sown evil seed and will reap the harvest.

I had a conversation with a male Muslim taxi driver in Boise, Idaho last week while I was on vacation. The taxi driver told me he was from Afghanistan. I told him that I was glad he was here in the US and no longer in Afghanistan. I also told him that the Taliban was evil and no one should live under the Taliban. He said “The Taliban is not evil. They just want everyone to do what they say.”
So I said “All humans were born with free will. So if you do not want to live under the Taliban, what do people do?” He said “You come here.” So then I said “I do not blame anyone for coming to the US but it is sad that so many countries do not have good governments to serve all their citizens. They only serve the elites.” The taxi man did not reply.
somehistory says
How, then, does the “taxi man’ define *evil.*?
There is no human government in which the ones running it don’t want the citizens to “do what they say.”
Each government makes up laws or rules for the citizens to follow and if not followed, there is punishment.
Lose a license, pay a fine, go to jail, go to prison.
Many of the laws protect other citizens….don’t rape, don’t steal, don’t murder, don’t run stop lights and signs, don’t speed, etc.
The “rules” mozlums in control force others to follow are all evil rules; none of them work for the good of those who are forced to follow.

somehistory,
My take on what the taxi driver said was this:
As long as you do what the totalitarian Taliban says – without question – they will not commit evil acts toward you.
One must totally submit.
somehistory says
James, that’s probably what he meant;
to me, demanding total submission is “evil.” we were made as free will creatures, given the freedom to make choices within a range of all things good.
islam, a.k.a. satan, wants to take that away. And he has plenty of willing subjects to force it on those of us unwilling.

Please be careful when your talking to such people, he’s more than likely a muslim and his loyalties are probably still with the Taliban. It took a bit of courage to tell him “that the Taliban is evil,” he may well of turned nasty.
Thankfully I don’t often come into contact with muslims as I live in the country, and it’s only when I go into town or the cities that I get to see them. I’ve often felt like telling them what I think of their religion, but I don’t as I’ve never had a proper conversation with one.
At the end of the day allah commands muslims to hate us, so they cannot be trusted.

The religion of serial killing homicidal maniacs. They are all groomed to be that way from birth. Any non muslim that disagrees is an islamophobe, any muslim that disagrees is murdered. They can call us what they want, I dont care, we are not changing in to them.

Hear Hear….Never give in to that so called religion.
Their ‘prophet’??…he was a Warlord, and a very clever warlord he was. He figured out that the way to get people to fight for him, even to their death, was to convince them that he’s the man of ‘god’ (lower case g used purposefully here)
Absolutely clever…but treacherous to the entire world.
