It’s the wave of the future for France. Everyone sees what is coming.
“‘We flout the principle of secularism and it’s assumed’: the halal menu of a Bordeaux middle school worries parents of students,” translated from “«On bafoue le principe de laïcité et c’est assumé» : le menu halal d’un collège bordelais inquiète des parents d’élèves,” by Marie-Hélène Hérouart, Le Figaro, May 21, 2023 (thanks to Medforth):
At the Collège Émile Combes in Bordeaux, on Monday, the canteen menu features a stir-fry of halal beef. A religious connotation that arouses great concern among some parents of students.
Mini cheese roll, sautéed halal beef, cauliflower, cheese and fruit. On Pronote, the Collège Émile Combes in Bordeaux does not display any alternative to the main course which will be served in the canteen on Monday. “What is shocking is that we flout the principle of secularism and that it is assumed,” indignant Virginie Tournay, spokesperson for Parents Vigilantes in Gironde. The movement, launched by Reconquête! in September 2022, was alerted by the father of one of the middle school students, as concerned as he was offended. “It is worrisome because we give in to community pressure that targets our children because they are malleable. They are taught a politicized way of living and of seeing society when the college should precisely be a bulwark against adult problems,” insists Virginie Tournay.
The mother of teenagers warns of a situation that she considers all the more serious since “parents are naturally not constantly looking at the canteen menus, especially in a secular school.” For her, the problem is moral, health and political. Emphasizing that “halal slaughter methods consist of a large throat cut from the trachea to the animal’s esophagus,” she believes, first of all, that this means that the public institution “endorses animal suffering.”
Especially since in France, according to L214, halal certification requires the killing of animals without prior stunning. She then argues that the confessional technique “has health risks.” A danger raised in 2020 by question n ° 27093 posed in the hemicycle by the deputy Lise Magnier (UDI), and denied by her answer which is based on the European regulation.
The Gironde department defends itself from charges that a halal menu is imposed on everyone, deploring “a communication error in the Pronote software.” In accordance with the law, which neither prohibits nor obliges schools to serve dishes of a religious nature, the practice is authorized if it is accompanied by an alternative. This Monday, the Bordeaux schoolchildren of Émile Combes will therefore be able to swallow “chicken aiguillettes” if they prefer, tempers the Department. A precision far from being enough to reassure the Vigilant Parents movement, which one assumes is disturbed by the religious nature of the recipe.
“The worst aspect is that it takes place in a school that bears the name of a politician who fought for the adoption of the law of 1905 (separating the Church and the State, Editor’s note),” argues Virginie Tournay. Before waving an old sea serpent: the possibility of financing the Muslim faith by a tax on mosques which attribute their certification to halal meat producers. “Culturally, in the past, we ate fish on Fridays, but the Church never received a penny for that,” she persists. The Department of Gironde refutes this accusation. He retorts to close the debate, that the choice of menus is at the discretion of schools which, moreover, “are authorized to serve halal meat without obligation to stipulate it.”

This just isn’t happening in France, it’s also happening in the UK as well. Most parents are unaware that their children could be consuming halal, food that has first been offered to allah aka satan. Think about eat it, would you want to eat food such food, because I certainly wouldn’t.
muhammad also said “a body nourished with harem (food that is not halal) will not enter jannah. Jannah is allah’s paradise which is really hell.
So message to everyone is, if you don’t want to go to allah’s jannah, then don’t eat halal prepared food. Also avoid New Zealand lamb, because it’s all halal.

Forbid all halal food in all schools in all countries

And if any other group, religion, was treated this way, the hue and cry would cause a big change. mozlums get a pass every time and excuses are made to cover all of their evil devices and tricks.
More and more parents should homeschool and more and more of those who can’t, should pack a lunch for their child to have at school. More and more parents should educate themselves on islam and the tactics of mozlums and then instruct their children accordingly.
One must oppose the devil, because he is after the children using mozlums and their evil trickery.
PRCS says
Did either you or John actually read the post?
If this was happening at a family member’s school district would you make fools of yourselves by citing “the devil/Satan” as your argument against serving halal food to non-Muslim students?
Or would you instead exercise some common sense with this–from the post?
“The mother of teenagers warns of a situation that she considers all the more serious since “parents are naturally not constantly looking at the canteen menus, especially in a secular school.” For her, the problem is moral, health and political. Would it be to win the argument or to be laughed out of the room?

Do you ever get the impression that there may be someone on this site that has it in for the both of us. Or is it just me suffering from paranoid schizophrenia.
somehistory says
John, without a doubt, you are not paranoid nor do you have schizophrenia.
I do my best to just ignore the sniping, and when I see the *name,* of the poster, I know that sniping is what is coming. It isn’t worth reading what he writes.
On another note, I hope things are going well for you and your family there.
John Smith says
Things are well with me Somehistory, and I hope everything is well with you and your family.
This is the way we should be with one and another, not fighting, not arguing. not being rude or challenging each others posts. We are all in this together. and together we should stand. But there are those that don’t comprehend this and want to cause a rift between us all. For what reason I don’t know why.
somehistory says
John, I’m glad things are going well for you. Things with my family are okay, considering everything. The youngest granddaughter had her very first quesadilla a few days ago. Growing way too fast.
You know, John, I came to this site several years ago doing research on terrorism. I had taken many courses, and needed something on terrorism in islam. There were few resources at that time.
Finding much more than I expected from the site, due to the different people commenting, I kept reading even after my research was done.
Since I had learned a lot from the courses I took, from an FBI Special Agent, some in military intelligence, some legal minds, I felt I had some things I could share that other commenters might find useful.
Over the years, I have seen just how very evil islam is and how it has twisted, not just what the Bible says, but the minds of those devoted to the fake prophet, the false god, and the book of unholy filth.
I have not come here to argue nor sow division, but just to share what I see as useful.
Those who disagree may do so without me trying to force them to see according to my views.
However, I feel I deserve the same respect, and will not stop *sharing* just because an individual or two decide that I should stop, and go over to their way of thinking.
I know from your many comments, that you are here for the same reasons…to share what you believe is useful in our fight against evil.
PRCS says
“We are all in this together. and together we should stand.”
We can’t all be in this together so long as some here continue to promote the superiority of Christianity over all other religions.
Yes, John, as we both know, that’s the purpose of Christian proselytizing.
PRCS says
“I have not come here to argue nor sow division, but just to share what I see as useful.”
The site’s name and purpose concerns ISLAM. How, exactly do you see your incessant references to the Bible as useful to that purpose?
Hey, jihadi. You’d better stop that because the Bible says, because Jesus said, because Paul said…..
John Smith says
PRCS
To start with get your facts right, no one is proselytising here. I challenge you to show me were I have tried to convert you, or anyone else to become a Christian. Because I haven’t.
You say, “I have not come here to argue or sow division,” well I’m sorry PRCS because it seems to me that’s exactly what your trying to do.
You also ask me the question, “how, exactly do you see your incessant references to the Bible as useful to that purpose,” well I shall try to explain. To even attempt to discuss islam, without making reference to the Bible would be absolutely ludicrous in the first place. Islam is in direct conflict with the Bible, not the Bhagavad Gita or any other scripture. allah claims to be the Christian god not some Hindu god. Muhammad was constantly making reference to the Jews, to the Christians, and to the Bible.
Infact the quran is a satanic counterfeit of the Christian Bible. But according to you we should not mention this, well I’m sorry, but your wrong.
somehistory says
John,
You said it very well. Better than I could have thought to say so, if I had read his writing and wanted to reply to it.
The Bible is truly relevant for the reasons…and more…you cite;
Quoting the Bible shows the contrast between Christianity and islam; and between Judaism and islam, and proves islam is not from the God of the Bible.
Thank you.
John Smith says
Somehistory
I didn’t realise PRCS was quoting you when he said, “I have not come here to argue or sow division, but just to share what I see as useful.” In your case I know this to be true. But there are those that come here to argue if you have a different opinion to them, or if you believe in something they don’t believe in. For what reason they want to do this I’ve no idea.
somehistory says
John,
That’s okay. Sometimes, it can be difficult to tell when another is quoting and when they are expressing their own ideas.
I see many comments with things written with which I may disagree. Usually, I pass on by because a disagreement would not likely help or make any difference in the overall reason for being here.
I disagreed with him years ago on a legal matter, and ever since then, he has followed my comments and disagreed, even on things that were not Bible related. *Why* he does so, I could surmise, but I’ll leave it with the question.
There have been a few others who seem to have wanted to argue their point and did so repeatedly. I don’t understand that mentality and I hope to never fully understand; like I don’t want to fully understand why people want to be evil and do evil things.
Anyway, I’ll not change what I say and why I say it. I have One authority over me; besides the secular/government authorities He allows.
If one or another disagrees and does so respectfully, I’ll read and respond. For those who just want to do as you said, I’ll let them pass on.
It’s another day, another weekend, and more opportunities to “fight the fine fight,” and oppose the evil. 🙂

Is it kosher for Jews to eat halal food? If not, aren’t there any Jews out there who object to that? How about others?
Manikandan Nair says
No. If Hindus abroad demanded for beef bans in UAE or Saudi, all Muslims would be complaining about Hindutva 24/7. However, Muslims are not speaking up for non-Muslim French people.
Denise Rogow says
Truth is – muslims do not have actual dietary laws! They don’t eat pork because Jews don’t, in accordance with Torah laws. What do you think muslims ate before the halal industry was created in the early 1980’s? They ate KOSHER for those who were at all concerned with what they ate. Halal is forbidden for Jews to consume, as are hindus and sikhs. Anything that is dedicated to a god other than their own is strictly forbidden. Halal is an absolute scam that generates trillions of dollars mostly from unsuspecting non-muslims; to date, it is a multi-TRILLION dollar industry world-wide.
Manikandan Nair says
No, it is not. Sikhs also object to Halal meats. Many Muslims want special privileges, but they won’t think of others.
abu taleb says
Think about the animal suffering when you eat halal food because the animal’s throat is torn but not dead yet so that it will be bleeding to dead.
And also, in many countries, the food is required to have halal certificate obtained from Islamic organization which makes tons of money. The money of course is used to finance Islamic daqwah besides to enrich the muslims.
Dr. Robert Christopher Laity says
See the Movie “FITNA”. Europe fought tooth and nail against Muslim conquest in the middle ages. NOW Islam is being surrendered to. Islam is anathema to freedom, is NOT a Religion but a system of oppression and Islam/Sharia Law is antithetical to liberty.

It is not just meat that is halal-certified – the Halal industry covers a wide range of products and services, literally everything from soup to nuts to concrete flooring, to cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, travel, finance, etc., etc., etc.. and much of it is not even labeled HALAL. It’s called Stealth Jihad. I am the admin. for the Boycott Halal Movement which began almost 20 years ago.
alexreid says
Jihad by Stealth. If they don’t like Europe etc. they can bu**r off to another Muslim Country! There are over 60 of them! How about one of the ~~~STANS of the former USSR? Plenty of space there for them.

It is the old march through the institutions. Attack Western society from every possible angle. People in the West should become accustomed to following Muslim customs so that eventually it is taken for granted that these are the ones that should be followed in every way. Broadcasting the call to prayer five times a day from early to late is just a start. Halal food is another variant of the march through the institutions. It will never stop until the West limits immigration and imposes its own standards. The other countries do that, the Muslim countries do it.

Diversity for islam is a one-way street. Islamic way or no way.

There was no population bomb in the sense of Paul Ehrlich in the seventies. But sometimes it seems there is a Muslim population bomb.
tgusa says
The killing of animals for human consumption should be done in the most humane way possible. Therefore animals killed the halal way, ritual slaughter the islamic way, should be rejected by all civilized people. American hunters strive to kill an animal quickly with one shot. Anything else is bad business. But as with everything muslim it has to be inhumane. Are we supposed to just accept inhumane barbaric practices to appease inhumane barbarians? I don’t think so. Why so many non muslims in the west choose to lower their values to accommodate muslims is a question I don’t have an answer for but it does disgust me. I know that most of us are better than that.
