Assistant Chief Constable Colin McFarlane admitted that “not enough was done” to “supervise and oversee him.”
And why not? No one seems to be asking that question. The answer is that to have supervised and overseen him would have been “Islamophobic.” The Greater Manchester Police were so avid to have a Muslim officer, and a role model at that, that it exercised none of the oversight that would ordinarily have been taken for granted as necessary. This is similar in some ways to the case of Mohamed Noor.
“Greater Manchester Police officer, 36, is facing jail after he used a volunteer cadet training scheme as a ‘grooming playground’ to sexually abuse a string of youngsters,” by James Tozer and Richard Marsden, Daily Mail, April 24, 2023:
A former hero policeman hailed as a role model and put in charge of teenage cadets after being injured tackling a crazed knifeman was today unmasked as a predator who abused a string of youngsters.
In the latest disturbing example of a police officer taking advantage of his trusted position to pursue his twisted sexual desires, Pc Adnan Ali instead used the award-winning unit as a ‘grooming playground’, a court heard.
The shamed 36-year-old was today facing a lengthy prison sentence and the loss of his police pension after being convicted of five counts of sexual assault against teenage cadets and 15 counts of misconduct in a public office over his sexualised messages.
Following his conviction, bosses at Greater Manchester Police issued a grovelling apology for what Ali’s trial was told was ‘inadequate oversight’ by senior officers which helped him get away with his predatory behaviour.
Branding Ali’s crimes ‘abhorrent’, Assistant Chief Constable Colin McFarlane admitted that ‘not enough was done’ to ‘supervise and oversee him’, adding: ‘For that I am truly sorry’.
Mr McFarlane told MailOnline he was ‘very mindful that this comes on the back of other cases involving police officers’.
However he insisted: ‘Ali represents the very worst that there is in policing, but also a very tiny minority.
‘The vast majority of officers, like the public, will be horrified by what he’s done.’
The police chief insisted that changes to the popular uniformed cadet scheme – which aims to ‘encourage the spirit of adventure and good citizenship’ in young people – meant participants are now better protected.
However with more than 500 volunteer police cadet groups across Britain responsible for thousands of children as young as 13, it means questions are likely to be asked as to whether enough has been done to root out abusers.
Until his arrest, bisexual Ali – who insisted on being known as ‘Adz’ – had seemed the perfect role model.
The recipient of a bravery award after being left fearing he ‘wasn’t going to come out alive’ when he was stabbed in the head three times by a knife-wielding attacker, Ali was a natural on social media and happy to discuss his Muslim faith….

It’s good he was caught and has been tried for his crimes against the kids.
The writers of the article need to do a rewrite, however. One example that makes it somewhat confusing, the word “instead ” in the second paragraph, should not be. That word makes it seem as if what he should have been doing was recounted, but what he did was “instead,” used it for perversion.
All of the mozlums in the police force should be looked on as potential abusers, because they are taught that sex with children…both male and female children…is just okay, even lauded.

How can a muslim – who is supposed to believe in the supremacy of the Law of Allah (aka Mohammed & chums having their flights of fantasy) – possibly be in the position of an upholder of the democratic laws of somewhere like the UK, let alone be a ‘role model’ in that part of the world? And it certainly seems that he reverted to the typically depraved islamic type once in a position of trust, as they all seem to do. I suppose that’s yet another form of ‘jihad’.

I really can’t understand how Muslims are getting into the British police force. Their values and beliefs are completely different.
Muslims are getting into positions of power and responsibility in every sector. The UK is lost.

Child molester AND policeofficer – he will be very “popular” in prison

Except that more and more prisoners in the UK are now also Muslims.

When you look at the boat loads of muslim migrants entering western societies they are mostly young men. You would think that these poor migrants would be the elderly and families with young children. But they are not, most are young men of military age with thousand dollar cell phones and gold jewelry. So just why are they migrating to the west? It appears that they do not assimilate into our society or way of life, but fight us to become followers of their ideology and rules.
Funny how we would fight an army of a hundred thousand muslim troops from invading our countries. But our governments have just opened the border to allow millions of young men across that same border and now provide for their well being.

The Manchester police brass are either paid off or are just plain dumb. This is a terrible case of pedophilia.

The more pertinent question is how can he be a Muslim and do these despicable acts- he cannot be one!! Honestly such behaviour brings shame not only to the police force but to the religion as well..he should be tried for the highest punishment for destroying children’s life. Shameful Shameful behaviour.

Rehen, your idea that Islam condemns raping Infidels could not be more mistaken. The Qur’an and Hadiths are full of Muslims raping Infidel women, girls, and boys. This was not just widespread, it was a deliberate tactic of war against unbelievers. The “Prophet” Muhammed himself chides his followers for *not* raping Infidel captives, as they worry it will bring down the ransom price.
