France and the Muslim Riots

A long comment on the riots in France by Vincent Trémolet de Villers, translated and somewhat abridged:

Are looting and riots the result of social exclusion, as we are told? It is true that we hear this worn-out discourse about abandoned suburbs, with a cohort of commentators and politicians who, instead of truly condemning this chaos, speak of a form of legitimate violence. A violence that is fueled by a thirst for justice following the death of a 17-year-old delinquent, but more broadly by structural injustice against a portion of French youth.

This explanation is doubly false. False because the rioters exploit this tragedy to commit destruction and looting that usually take place on July 14 and December 31, or during football matches, when there is no tragedy. These are opportunistic rioters who, whenever they can, vandalize and assault police officers, firefighters, and journalists. Are they abandoned? It’s much more complicated than that.

For 40 years, the urban policy has poured billions into these neighborhoods to build schools, libraries, and climbing walls that sometimes end up in ashes. These young people are not the wretched of the earth, and in some aspects, they are privileged in terms of social policy. There’s no comparison between a young person from the suburbs and a young French person from Creuse or Lozère [remote and rural areas in the “dialogue du vide” — the dialogue of emptiness”]. If we look at social welfare, the benevolence of sports and the spectacle of society, from Kylian Mbappé to Mathieu Kassovitz, along with centers to support them, and media and cultural representations, it’s better to be born in Montfermeil [a Muslim suburb] than in Vesoul [in rural France].

The truth is that this youth is not abandoned, but disinherited. What’s the difference? It’s the difference between material and spiritual. These young people are disinherited because they have been deprived of our intangible heritage, a heritage that we ourselves have squandered. The underfunding of national education and mass culture teach them to hate France. Why would they love France when deprived of the two pillars of education and authority? The education system, after years of prioritizing quantity over quality, is falling apart on all fronts. And authority, because family authority is often deficient in these neighborhoods and has not been compensated by state authority, which is equally deficient.

We are witnessing the tragic consequences of an absence of authority on multiple levels. First, there are uprooted children growing up without guidance, ultimately immersed in drug trafficking, with an imagination influenced by urban mafias and the codes of American black neighborhoods. Then you add to that the continuous influx of migration, which brings disorder upon disorder, and you have the phenomenon of destabilization. On the other hand, the far left continues to believe in a convergence of struggles between the suburbs, the hipsters of eastern Paris, and the extreme-left activists who simulate revolution on the ruins of deconstruction and then return to their apartments in the heart of Paris. Do they think they will finally overthrow capitalism by watching the suburbs [where Muslims live] plunder stores and supermarkets, all broadcast live on social media?

  1. Yes, there is a failure of education and authority but why? Could it be that Muslims do not accept the idea that non-Muslims can have authority over them? Could it be that Muslims do not believe that non-Muslims have anything worthwhile to teach them? Could it be that Islam teaches these things to Muslims and that’s what counts the most to them? A proper reading of the Koran would make this evident but, nah, that just takes too much work and besides, the truth might hurt somebody’s feelings – and that would be so much worse than losing your country and your freedom, now wouldn’t it?

    Somebody needs to wake up from a pipe dream.

    • I guess this hadith is out of context since Muslims don’t seem to believe it:

      “All humans are descended from Adam and Eve,” said Muhammad in his last known public speech. “There is no superiority of an Arab over a non-Arab, or of a non-Arab over an Arab, and no superiority of a white person over a black person or of a black person over a white person, except on the basis of personal piety and righteousness.”

      More final instructions from Muhammad that are generally ignored:

      “Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.”

      • The Koran trumps everything else in Islam. If the Surahs are arranged in chronological order of “revelation” to Muhammed it would be easy to see that Muslims are not to think of non-Muslims as brothers but rather as enemies whose very existence is an insult to Allah. The final words of Allah to Muhammad and to all Muslims convey the demand that all Muslims are expected to fight the Infidels until all Infidels are killed or are converted to Islam or made to submit in humiliation to accepting Islam as having the final word over all that they do This is what a “proper” and honest reading of the Koran will reveal to anyone who takes the time to try and understand.

      • Is this a sahih hadith? I’d think that the only people who’d believe it are the non-Arabs i.e. Turks, Indic-muslims, North African non-Arabs, East-Indians and so on. The Arabs clearly don’t believe in that hadith

      • The text suggests an exemption to equality in the case of infidels. There is superiority “on the basis of personal piety and righteousness” That means if someone does not accept Islam as the true faith, then they are inferior to those who do. It is nice that people all seem to be equal regardless of ethnicity and race and perhaps even sex or gender. The door nevertheless seems to be open for attacking non-Muslims, since they are not pious. And this door is often entered. If the prophet had hundreds of Jews beheaded and watched with his child bride, then this inhumanity might be justified by scripture, since Jews and Christians are not righteous. And the bad treatment of women sometimes observed in Islam does not seem consistent with the claim of equality, so perhaps the prophet was not the author of the text, and it was interpolated so the true teachings would seem less frightening.

    • This civil unrest over the police killing of a Muslim could likely be beginning of a jihad spreading into other countries and cities w/ high Muslim population and get people motivated to form a caliphate of the E.U. Their Muslim leaders would be the ones to organize it and keep it going.

    • Muslims think they are superior in every aspect than non muslims, because muslims are the best people of Allah and non believers are the worst creature. So naturally, muslims do not acept the idea of non muslims have the authority over them. Harrassing, raping, robbing, killing non muslims etc are their way to show their superiority.

      Excuse me I must disagree based on my own reading and practical experience among Muslim youths.
      Macron has an elephant in his office and refuses to see it.

      Most of the Muslim population of France prior to the beginnings of the mass immigration, some 15 years ago were content, fairly integrated and loved France for the freedoms and security France offers them.
      Not so now.

      For 11 years I lived among French Muslims in Albi and watched in growing alarm nice young lads turned into delinquents.
      Their parents especially the mothers lost control because anytime they tried to steer them to a prosperous future they had the Quran quoted at them and were threatened with violence.

      The teaching in the mosques, in the Quran, in France is simple and effective.
      It creates an exclusive attitude to life, to other people.
      Muslims learn that Islam therefore Muslims are superior to non Muslims.
      Muslims learn that anytime they don’t get their own way, to play the victim. the Quran teaches, playing victim confuses and devides the infidels.
      We see this strategy working as well today as it did in the time of Mohammed.
      In peaceful Albi I watched the large majority of the youth gradually being corrupted by Islamic ideas that were being imported by the new migrants.

      They became by the age of 14 contemptuous of the good schools they were attending, disrespectful of their teachers and neglected their opportunity for free education.
      The result is almost all of them are now arrogant, ignorant, virtually unemployable.

      The Police knew the score but had their ‘hands tied’, their authority weakened by liberals who did not live in Muslim dominated districts.

      Those youths suffer not from social deprivation but from moral corruption.
      The proof is that there are other deprived minorities who by study and hard work are today fine citizens.
      France is given a steady inundation of illegal migrants most of whom solidly believe the laws of Islam take precedence over national laws.

      What we are seeing in France now is very likely to happen in numerous other western cities as Muslim numbers and thus their power and influence increase and I heard Muslims saying they are very excited about this, it will be a triumph for Islam.

Such Islamic rioting occurs in the other countries of Europe as well .as in for example Germany, France, Sweden, Denmark Sweden Germany etc. This unthankful Islamic spirit on the part of those lawless violent Muslims who immigrated to the countries of Europe may be explain, in part, by the fact that the Muslim fundamentalist group that even had the president of Egypt assassinated in the month of October of the year 1981 has a fifty –five booklet that is was written only for Muslims fundamentalists but was later discover by non-Muslims.

    This booklet’s title is THE NEGLECTED DUTY. One scholar, Johannes Jansen who had thoroughly investigated Islam and Islamic terrorism has even discover that those Muslims, who had entered Europe of behaved in violent and heinous ways, are actually action out what they view and a sacred individual duty of the jihad as by engaging in awful violent criminal action in non-Muslim lands .     Nevertheless, many of the apologists for Islam still have that blatant gall , in spite of all the facts of reality, to actually make the claim the Islam is a “peaceful religion.” What a totally false to make that Islam is “a peaceful religion “What Bull! A “peaceful religion” indeed.

    • Your post is very 2005. Even a lot of left wingers have realized by now that Muslims are not oppressed people, and Islam is a militant faith. Look at how Muslims are rising up against the LGBTQ-whatevers in Canada and the USA.

      I think we can pretty much agree that Islam is a religion (perhaps ideology) of conquest. Great, now the question is: who let them into the west, and why?

  3. It really needs to and should be reiterated that those horrendously horrible riots in the city of Paris along with the arson extreme violence and murder that is also part of it does have the insidious hand of jihadist instigation in it a major way.

    Another jihadist evil in a smaller way but still very tragic was an earlier Muslim terrorist vehicle murder of a young French woman is a evil and tragic reminder that ISIS had called for and is still is calling for “lone wolf” Islamic terrors attack in France.

    Even before that heinous intentional vehicle jihad murder was that jihadist shooter and murderer in Strasbourg are revealing if the vicious nature of both ISIS and I slam of which the Islamic “state” is built upon. There were also those brutal murderous Islamic terror attacks of Charlie Hebdo and then later th ose jihad ISIS attack in Paris, France, on November 13, 2015 and then that Nice, France jihad murdering jihad attack. Then those vicious and murdering ISIS jihad terror attacks in Paris France on July 14, 2016. Even before those malicious ISIS jihad attacks an ISIS audio recording broadcasted on September 2014 declared “If you can kill a disbelieving American or European especially the spiteful and filthy French …kill him in any manner or way however it may be.” [1]

    This alone exposes the vicious and malicious way of thinking of the jihadist who composes ISIS. The result of this wicked mindset where those heinously malice – filled jihad mindset was carried out by those by those Islamic jihadist deadly attacks in Paris and Nice. Furthermore the jihadists of ISIS sure have some gall calling the French “spiteful” since it’s the jihadist ISIS thugs who are so very spiteful that they murder people in many extremely cruel ways. Likewise, the ISIS savages have some gall calling the French “filthy” Since it’s the ISIS jihadist villains who the ones who are so lawless and vile that the kidnap and rape both girls and women.

    Therefore, it’s only a matter of time before the people who the citizens of the nation of France experience the horrors of another Islamic terror attack or attacks. In another city of town of France. In other words, it’s not a matter of “if “but of “when.”

  4. Maybe RS should write a book entitled “Voting for Dummies” or “Voting for Lefties and other Dummies”, a guide for the willfully ignorant.

    You can’t vote for people who facilitate the illegal Muslim Migration and then afterwards sigh, cry and lament all the rioting, looting and burning. You can’t vote for people who facilitate the import of Islam, open-border policies, mosque-building and who stand in the way of deporting and expelling it – and then now be shocked by the results of your vote.

  5. Islamic State and its affiliates have issued plenty of instructions to muslims in the West, as featured by JihadWatch. These urge the mujahideen to attack police and soldiers (because they represent and enforce non-Islamic systems of governance and law), to attack the kuffar with knives, guns if possible, stones, and vehicles. and to burn the kuffars’ shops and houses.

    Might there be a correlation?

    It is a tough one.

    • Muslims can never integrate into any Western country, or any non-Muslim country (eg: India)!

Just as it is with everything leftist the name is the opposite of the truth. Those weapons are, in reality, anti-assault weapons. I bet a lot of people in France are wishing they had access to anti-assault weapons and one look at that mob proves they could use those weapons. I want to thank the jihadists in France for giving us an up close view of why a double barrel shotgun just wont do.

  9. I seem to recall mozlums saying that libraries were unnecessary….burning books and such…because there was need only for the one book….that book of endless filth, hatred, evil, demonic commands…andall others were bad, useless, etc.

    Books written by people who know and understand things are one of the most important tools in learning. Learning to think, reason, get along with others, get to know history, and be able to do constructive work.

    If mozlums refuse to read anything other than their islam garbage, how will they ever learn to think, reason, get along with others, know history and do constructive work?
    Since they refuse to try to get along with others, to “live and let live,” to “do unto others what you wish done to you,” they will be a source of endless strife and continual tensions. Unceasing demands, unceasing warfare, unceasing in their demand to force their way on everyone else.

    One thing they don’t realize….if everyone turned to islam, became lazy, had countless wives, etc., the whole world would soon starve itself to death because there would be no one to extort, no one to enslave. And the murders….would never stop, even if everyone turned to islam. There would be more murderers than now because, according to islam, everyone would have the “right” to kill someone else.

    • If the entire population of the world were Muslim it would probably look a lot like Afghanistan. It would be stuck in the 8th century except for the existence of some modern weaponry that was left by a previous generation of people who were not Muslims. Since Muslim society as set forth by Muhammad is based upon fighting Infidels, constantly taking booty from them in raids or collecting Jizya from them the Muslims in a mostly Muslim world would have to ensure the continuation of a society of Infidels to keep things going. It would probably look a lot like the vision of the future that H.G. Wells imagined in his book “The Time Machine” with the Morlocks (Muslims) living off the Eloi (Infidels). Come to think of it, maybe that wailing siren in the 1960 movie was not a throwback to an air raid warning but an evolution of the Muslim call to prayer into a sign for the slaves to drop everything and submit to their masters.

  10. I heard a fleeting comment on the BBC that the police officer is not “white”, i.e., not native French, but it’s virtually impossible to confirm. He is just called Florian M. The news host seemed to be unable to process the information, timidly asking, is that significant?

    This news of course would change the entire narrative, but the French leftist policy is to hide that news. I don’t necessarily think he’s guilty per se, but if he turns out to be black or even Muslim, it shows how utterly corrupt the Islamist world is. Many Muslims in France with power such as imams know the identity of the policeman, but keep the lie going that he was a “racist” so the war against France and Europe continues.

  11. When you allow these young muslim military age men to invade your country as migrants, eventually they will attempt to take it over. Islam is non-compatible with any other religion or government law. Muslim/islamic migrants will not integrate into another rule of law or society.
