This kind of story, which apparently originated in Raseef22, a publication out of Beirut, will before too long lead to the transformation of the landscape in Germany and all over Europe in ways that no one there expected. Even public toilets will undergo a transformation in order to accommodate the “new Germans.”

European-style toilets constitute one of the obstacles to optimal integration of certain Syrian refugees in Germany. Sitting on a toilet bowl used by others is not seen as hygienic for these people used to squat toilets, says “Raseef22.”
Some Syrians use Arab toilets [called “Turkish” in France], like other oriental peoples, whether they are Muslim or not. This is particularly true when it comes to public toilets or, for example, those on trains. These toilets come in different shapes, but have in common an oblong hollow at ground level, above which you squat to do your business.
When an Arab arrives in a European country such as Germany, he does not immediately perceive one of the big differences that await him there. But he ends up confronting it. This is also true for Syrian refugees, who even see their family ties suffer. The cause [of these difficulties] is most strange. It lies in the impossibility, for them, of using the toilets with which German housing is equipped.
When Chawwakh, 42, felt a pressing need and began looking for public toilets in the southern German city of Nuremberg, he eventually found one. But he hesitates, before resolving to go there, constrained and forced. When he comes out, he is not at ease, even though in Syria too we are talking about a place of comfort.
“If toilets could be different”
The trouble is that you have to sit where others have sat before. This may seem trivial to some. Others will say that Chawwakh’s reaction is excessive. But the fact is that, for some Syrians, this constitutes one of the obstacles to integration.Like Arabs in general, they are by nature sociable, and family relationships are central to them. This is even more true for those who find themselves far from home. Visits to each other’s homes, friends or family, allow them to overcome the trauma of war.
However, in Germany, the asylum system does not take into account the close relationships that may exist between people…

Arab toilets will be unsuitable for older people in the West who may be unaccustomed and unable to squat. Everything could end up all over one’s boots!

Another solution, courtesy of Sahih Al-Bukhari 161, Book 4, Hadith 27, would be a tent, a pile of sand, and some polished rocks. A good modern improvement would be a hand rail for the right hand since it must not touch private parts. A ring hanger would keep removed finger rings off the floor. A soft kneeling pad could ease the preperatory prayer. The orientation of the tent must position the user, front and back, away from Mecca. There must also be a washing utility.
How much would it cost to orient all of the EU public toilets at right angles to Mecca?

Westman, You could add that since Arabs don’t wash their hands (not even the left hand which is utilized to clean oneself) after a visit to the lieu, a basket full of needles for tetanus on the dinner table should be provided for non-Arab guests. On a SecState trip to Damascus before the civil war, we stayed at the Hilton where several members of the team became so sick they could not travel. Their infections took sometime to heal, so I guess these slugs wish for Europe to become a festering cesspool of filth.

Like many of “Muhammad’s” ideas, the toilet etiquette is less than helpful and actually a spreader of disease. It seems designed for use in a sandy, water deficient locality and doesn’t have the universal function that would be expected from a universal creator.

I worked in China over the 2000s and one thing I noticed was the availability of folding seats so that the squat could be used as a Western-style toilet.
Two drivers of this: Firstly, the seat version was seen as more modern. Secondly the seated version was known to be easier on the knees.

Just visited national parks. One in our group saw the feces on the floor and wall/footprints on the seat respect for our country there. It saddened me personally to see so many obviously newly entered muslims traveling around our country on taxpayer payouts more generous than SocSec benefits paid out to citizens for a lifetime of hard work, all while hardworking taxpayers around me can barely make it.

I have ‘visited’ restrooms where I had to just hold my nose and retreat. Too dangerous; waiting to find another or just go home was necessary. And now with the invasion of people who work to make things bad, we who value cleanliness, decency, morality, etc. will be increasingly “saddened,”.
There are so many restrictions on people whose only income is social security…money that they actually earned, as you say, over a life-time of hard work. they are forced to pay for medicare which only pays a portion of medical bills. If they are really elderly, they normally have a lot of doctor visits, medicine to take daily, and can’t work to earn a few extra dollars.
And, you are so right about the handouts to the hordes coming across the border….many of whom are terrorists and others rapists, murderers, …all getting the freebees.
My daughter works in the customer service department of a large grocery chain, and that includes fueling up help for those paying with cash. She told me yesterday that a whole lot of people pay with the ebt cards. No jobs to work if you are here legally.
The gov prints trillions, gives billions to ukraine, iran, afghanistan….and couldn’t care less about the taxpayers who make it possible.

But don’t the toilets have to point a certain way too? So as not to conflict with the position of Mecca? I don’t think they are supposed to sit facing or with their back to Mecca while ‘doing their business’. But that has sometimes been overcome by using a changing room or just going in the street.

Squatting and getting up from a squat is not easy for many people.
I remember a rumor from Cleveland Clinic which catered to many rich Arab patients…many toilet seats were broken after their stay at the hospital because they would get on top of the toilet seat and squat.
Just provide disposable toilet seat covers for hygiene.
