A Jerusalem Post article states that “two Israeli citizens” were arrested. It would have been more prudent, and accurate, to report that it was two Arab-Israeli citizens. What is obvious for some may not be for others.
Israel is faced with an unceasing jihad, and this particular case highlights that the threat is also coming from some of its own Arab citizens. The case highlights the problem of jihadists such as Samer Farid Ghanam Knoh and Osama Nissim Ghazi Harouf, who enjoy the benefits of Israeli citizenship yet seek to destroy the very country in which they hold such citizenship.
In February, Israel passed legislation to strip citizenship from Arabs convicted of terrorism and deport them to the Gaza Strip or Judea and Samaria. The law applies to jihadis who receive financial support from the Palestinian Authority (pay for slay). Ahmad Tibi, the leader of the Arab opposition Ta’al party, called the bill “racist” because it does not apply to Jews convicted of terrorism, but of course he said nothing about the fact that Arab terrorists are specifically targeting the State of Israel. He also omitted the fact that Jews convicted of terrorism are not receiving money from the Palestinian Authority (or anyone else).
“Israelis caught smuggling explosives from Jordan for Islamic Jihad,” by Tzvi Joffre, Jerusalem Post, September 5, 2023:
Two Israeli citizens from the Tulkarm area were arrested while smuggling firearms and explosives for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist movement from Jordan in early August, the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) said on Tuesday.
The two were identified as Samer Farid Ghanam Knoh and Osama Nissim Ghazi Harouf, the latter of whom is known for his connections to terrorist operatives.
Another unnamed individual from the same area was arrested as well.
On August 3, Knoh and Harouf were caught smuggling firearms and explosives at the Jordanian border, with four handguns and four explosive devices found in their possession.
A photo of the devices showed that the explosive devices were MON-50 anti-personnel mines (similar to a Claymore mine) produced in Russia and Bulgaria. It is unclear where the weapons were being sourced from.An investigation by the Shin Bet and police revealed that the two had been recruited by terrorist operatives in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Jenin refugee camp to smuggle weapons.
They were also found to be involved in transferring funds and weapons to terrorists in the Nur Shams refugee camp near Tulkarm. The two admitted that they were handled by operatives in Nur Shams….

The putrid mind of a Leftist at work, they want to blame Israeli Jews for terrorism and protect Arabs, even if they’ll end up being the victims of those terrorists attacks.
They don’t want to tell Jews that their so-called fellow “Israeli Arab citizens” want to genocide them as much as Arabs in other regions.
“The Arabs aren’t attacking you, you’re attacking yourselves…you’re the enemy.”
Maybe if Lefty Jews were forced to live in Gaza for a few years they’d change their tune, assuming they survived.

When will Israel recognize that its resident muslims are, after all, Palestininas?
James Lincoln says
Yes, Infidel.
And the “resident muslims” need to be deported out of Israel.
ALL of them.

The last 2-3 years or so have completely revealed the inconvenient truth regarding the Arab-Israelis. I was fascinated by the political “gotcha” that so many pro Israel people would use, pointing to all the Arab Israeli accomplishments and look see Arab-muslims serving in the knesset, here’s one on the supreme Court. Blah blah blah. You are playing by the leftist Israel haters rules. Look what’s happened. People who hate Israel and it’s supporters hate you, not how you act or what you do.
There is no convincing them. Ignore and let them wallow in their own accomplishments/failures. Do not aid/assist.
