“I studied the Koran a great deal … I came away from that study with the conviction that by and large there have been few religions in the world as deadly to men as that of Muhammad.” — Alexis de Tocqueville
Despite the terrible massacre of October 7, many politicians in the West continue to talk about Islam as a “religion of peace.” Respected professors, journalists, columnists, philosophers from Paris to San Francisco share this view. They really want to believe in it; otherwise, the claim that true evil comes from the West only, and the Islamic movement is no more than a form of national struggle of the oppressed people, becomes meaningless. Unfortunately, Hamas, like ISIS and al-Qaeda before, is pure, uncomplicated Islam in its most genuine, original form.
Islam, like some forms of Judaism and Christianity, is religion that interprets the divine revelation literally; they believe that the fulfillment of God’s laws is the only way to perfection, salvation and harmony.
God in some understandings of these religions is anthropomorphic, omnipotent and immanent. Like a father, He is strict and at the same time fair to His children; He knows their every step and judges them according to His laws. He may be jealous, merciful, rigid, compassionate and solicitous. He can reveal his face and can conceal it, but the believer doesn’t have any other option except to believe that the Father in Heaven cares about him, no matter what.
His laws are irreversible. His will determines everything and everyone tasks of a government, relations between the ruler and his subjects, punishments for crimes, individual freedoms, gender relations and the state of minorities, public aid to the weak and feeble.
Human intervention in Divine instructions is blasphemy, which inevitably results in a severe punishment. Moreover, the followers of fundamentalist religions are inclined to believe in conspiracies of evil.
Time and misery, humanistic ideal and rational thinking have changed the nature of the once rigid Jewish and Christian beliefs, but not those of Muslims. Many Muslims were never and aren’t aware of their own blind hatred and fanaticism; they are not appalled by these, they’ve never undergone a catharsis which would allow them to look inside themselves. Islam has never known self-reflection, doubt and spiritual dissatisfaction, as prophetic Judaism did in the epoch of Judges and Kings, or Christianity in the Enlightenment period. Movements of spiritual protest, as the Essenes were in Jewish history, or Waldenses, Cathars and Hussites in medieval Europe, are unfamiliar to Islam. It is proud of its own perfection, immutability, monumentality.
It strives to expansion, which is prescribed by the Qur’an and Hadith. Religious commandments and regulations of Islam are neither a choice nor an allegory. These are literal and undeniable Divine commandments, very specific and covering the areas of human existence to the fullest possible extent. Muslims strongly believe that Allah reveals himself in every sign and every phenomenon they find His name: in the shape of clouds, spots on animals, a mole on skin, interweaving of tree’s branches, contours of stones.
Islam divides humanity into Dar al-Islam (House of Islam) with righteous, divine laws of Islam, and Dar al-Harb (House of War), with chaos, infidelity and false (or at best, imperfect) teachings. The House of Islam and the House of War are doomed to confrontation, which must end with the triumph of “true religion.” The establishment of the “Islamic state” (caliphate) based on Sharia laws via “jihad” is a divine mission of Islam, and other interpretations of the Koran and other sacred texts – such as the Hadith — do not exist.
The problem is not the ruthless uprooting of heresies, but in the fact that the heresies simply do not exist. There were countless attempts in the Medieval Europe to undermine the monolith of Dogma and return spirituality to Western Christianity, from the Troubadours to the Proto-Renaissance to the Lollards and Waldenses.
We haven’t seen anything like this in the Muslim world. Only in Sunni Islam, minor disagreements have occurred about the way to create a World State of Sharia by preserving immutable and indestructible law (the Salafis) or by adopting modern political tools, such as democratic elections, the parliamentary system and legal institutions (the Muslim Brotherhood). But the main goals remain the same. In Shia Islam, only ayatollahs have supreme, exclusive and indisputable power, without any hint of rational or humanist understanding of religion.
The enemies of Islam are subject to destruction and humiliation. Judaism and Christianity for Muslims are the ugly, weak shadow of only one true religion. The Yazidis, followers of dualism, are servants of Evil and must be destroyed physically, and in terrible agony, as children of Satan.
Conspiracy Theories are not prejudices of ignorant masses, but an integral part of the ruling elite. In July 2014, Iranian state TV translated a discussion with Valliollah Naghipourfar, cleric and professor of Tehran University, who claimed that Zionists use genies to undermine Iran; in April 2013, a well-known Iranian cleric and close confidante of Ayatollah Khamenei warned about “global Jewish sorcery”; in December 2010, Said Mohamed Abdel-Fadli Shusha, governor of South Sinai, spoke about a shark sent by “Mossad” to hurt tourists in Egypt”; in Gaza, Hamas arrested 150 women and accused them of witchcraft, and the list goes on.
The doctrine of mainstream Islam sees death through jihad is a blessing, that’s the reason that both the Sunni Hamas and Shiite Hezbollah say that they love death. Therefore, they are doing everything possible to communicate this simple idea to their ordinary, less zealous coreligionists, by slighting and intimidating them.
It is only in our time of neo-Marxist clichés and naivety that Islam could be called a religion of peace. Philosophers and historians of Enlightenment and the nineteenth century, unlike our contemporaries, were not hypocrites.
David Hume described the Qur’an as an absurd performance of a pretended prophet who lacked a just sentiment of morals. Voltaire called Muhammad the founder of a false and barbarous sect and a false prophet. Helvetius wrote that Islam dreamed to conquer the world “by fire and sword.” Alexis de Tocqueville wrote: “I studied the Koran a great deal … I came away from that study with the conviction that by and large there have been few religions in the world as deadly to men as that of Muhammad.” The Church historian Philip Schaff wrote: “Mohammedanism conquered the fairest portions of the earth by the sword and cursed them by polygamy, slavery, despotism and desolation; the moving power of Islam was fanaticism and brute force.” Ernest Renan called Islam the heaviest chains which have ever shackled humanity.
Escapism has always been inherent in people. But it has never manifested itself with such power and scale of an entire civilization, as we witness today.

Wellington says
Until the West en masse clearly asserts that Islam is an evil religion, all else will be smoke and mirrors.
There is no good Islam. Some Muslims are good people to humanity at large (N.B., being good to only fellow Muslims doesn’t count) but this is ALWAYS in spite of Islam and never because of it. And ideology is key, never the fact that some adherents of an ideology, whether secular or religious, don’t fully implement, or wrongly implement, their ideology of choice. After all, Christianity is an enlightened religion, as is Judaism, but some Christians and Jews are bad people though this should never be used to judge Christianity or Judaism. Ditto for Islam except in the opposite way.
Oh yeah, ideology is key. Knowing some nice Muslims means very little. One could have met some nice Communists during the Cold War who on a daily basis were good with family and friends, would have split their last bottle of vodka with you, but this would have never made Communism alright.
When combatting wickedness, one has to be rational and informed and never sentimental and ignorant. It’s imperative that this occurs if good is to prevail over evil.
Ray Jarman says
+1 I have one question which is how can one trust any Muslim when perfidy is part of their religion? While working in Baghdad and traveling to install secure communications in the US PRTs throughout Iraq during 2006-2007 time frame and six months in Kabul in 2001, I met some friendly locals but I would never turn my back even to the ones that I met or worked with on occasion at the Embassy.
James Lincoln says
Ray,
Before my first military deployment to the Middle East, a seasoned Navy A-6 Intruder pilot told me to never trust a muslim.
That advice probably saved my life.
Fitna says
Totally agreed James,
Muslims can never be trusted…esp. if the topic of religion comes up.
Many of them are devious cowards and will likely “take revenge” on someone when they least expect it.
I look forward to the day our leaders finally wake up and say that Islam is not compatible with the West and Muslims have to go back.
Alex Maist says
You are absolutely right! The key word is ideology, and Islam is an ideology. I lived in the Soviet Union during my youth, and there were indeed a lot of good and sympathetic people there, but this did not change the picture of political reality.

During the reign of Nazism everyone knew a nice German.
Ralph says
Amen, Wellington, Amen. There are no good followers of Islam.
somehistory says
I’m sorry, but mixing up Judaism, Christianity and islam in this discussion is quite confusing; and if I’m reading it correctly, some inaccuracies are included about Christianity.
I’m not a Jew, so my understanding of Judaism is confined to what I read in the Bible and a few conversations I have had with Jews. One thing I learned was that the God of the Jews, allowed people to ask things of Him that would “change” His mind. Such as the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah; the immediate Judgment against the Jews who built the golden calf for worship, and when Hezekiah was told he was going to die.
So, the God of Christians, being the Same as the God of the Hebrews, does allow humans to ask things that might appear to be something different than what might have been without the request.
Now, regarding what islam displays, it is the opposite of the two religions of the Bible. There is no “enlightenment” for mozlums…except if the individual mozlum becomes aware of the evils in islam and the absence of anything of value or virtue.
Raghu says
You said it Professor. Why are so called civilized educated humans keep screaming of Islamophobia? Are they out of minds. I strongly gly feel so or they are bought by paying huge money. Just imagine UN Secretary general/ U HRC sitting quite on the humungus violation of ” Right to life”.
Fitna says
Humanity has invented 6,000 gods over thousands of years and not one has ever visited us-which is a good thing. The reason people pray to Allah/Jehovah and not Zeus/Thor, is because all the followers of the old religions are dead and gone.
Eventually that will also happen to the current cults that are popular today. All these ideologies are nothing more than man-made texts on their musings about the world we live in and how to live in it.
In a pre-scientific age, that was ‘ok’ because we had no better answer…but we’ve progressed far beyond that and religions have no useful purpose anymore and in fact are a major ball and chain around people’s necks holding them back.
But Islam is the absolute worst among them because of its incitement to hate/kill anyone that doesn’t bow down to its rule. It’s a declaration of war against every man, woman and child on this planet. While other religions do pose major problems, most of them are generally not violent. Islam is a deal-breaker in every way…and it needs to be abolished.
I think the West, still hasn’t quite figured out yet that the violence we see in Islam is not an aberration but a central feature and the violence never, ever ends, even if you become a perfect Muslim and do everything they tell you. Then you have conflicts amongst fellow Muslims…and sects.
Oct 7 was about as impactful as 9/11 and it certainly woke many more people up around the world. This is why we now see western people attacking Muslim migrants for their crimes and rioting…and also why they’re voting for center-right parties/people like Geert Wilders.
I’m hoping that Oct 7 was the true turning point for the West and that we don’t need another dozen or so additional terrorist attacks before millions start demanding we throw out Muslims and ban their death cult Islam.
While the ideal would be to have Islam eliminated globally, at least freeing the West would be a good start and then maybe we can help free other nations. Because although many Muslims adhere to this evil ideology there are many more who want it gone but they are minorities lacking power.
So hopefully in the future, we can help save nations like Iran and others and bring them true freedom. Nobody should have to suffer under its evil, sinister rule, esp. since there is no monstrous entity named Allah who’s judging and punishing us. It’s just a bunch of sick, evil brainwashed humans, making other humans suffer for no reason except the bad ideas we invented.
The other key lesson here is that children are highly susceptible to brainwashing and that we must take great care not to marinate their brains in idiotic/evil belief systems which have no basis in reality and which turn them into rotten adults who cannot be ‘de-brainwashed’ and cause trouble on this planet.
It really is a shame that people are unable to objectively examine themselves, read some books and realize they were indoctrinated by bad ideas and use logic/reason to discard bad ideas.
Though I’d say a minority of us are able to do that. I was raised in Christianity and when I was able to reason for myself around 13 yrs old, I soon realized religions are a bunch of bullcrap. They are scams that clever humans invented to dupe others into giving them money by filling their heads with fake promises of a better life and an afterlife…of course none of which can be proven as there is no evidence for them.
The main reason I think most people don’t want to leave religion is that they don’t want to accept they were duped and they also refuse to examine the evidence for their claims or listen to counter-arguments. It’s unfortunate, but that’s the world we live in. Whatever the case, there is no compromising on Islam, it must be defeated.

In Britain big ugly dogs killed half a dozen people and now they are a banned breed. Good. No more people having their throats ripped out by monster dogs.
But behold -over the last 20 years muslims have brought scary bloody violent death to ordinary citizens of the West just going about their business. And what happens? Angela Merkel invites a million of them into Germany all in one go; in Germany where they are now freely shouting about destroying that democracy. They have freedom of speech they tell us.
Sometimes people want to commit suicide but cannot bring themselves to the point so they arrange for someone to just kill them. Is that what Merkel’s suicide of Germany is all about? Germany wants to obliterate itself and the gigantic influx of muslims is the perfect accomodating assassin. What other theory can make any sense of it?
Fitna says
Agreed Deze, you raise a very valid point.
I feel many of them carry a deep-seated guilt and shame over the Holocaust and Nazism, so perhaps they are collectively suicidal.
Long before the migration scam started, Muslims were already causing serious problems for the Germans (and esp. Jews). Merkel herself declared that ‘multiculturalism has failed’ but then foolishly and inexplicably went on to allow millions more Muslims to invade their nation, completely unvetted.
God only knows how truly bad the problem has become there…since the media, politicians think like Merkel and hide the crimes of the african/mideast invaders.
Thankfully not all Germans want to be dragged down into oblivion on Merkel’s runaway train that’s headed over a cliff. The AfD ofc wants to save the nation and its people and also to throw out the maniacal followers of Islam…and they are gaining strength.
I wish them all the best..I have a great respect for Europeans and western civilization and do not want them to fade away or even worse be converted into another barbaric Islamic state. Europe/the West has set the standard for freedom, progress, technology, etc…that other nations want to emulate.
I believe the election of Geert Wilders in the Netherlands, could be a paradigm shift on the continent and encourage more western nations to restore their freedom and way of life and talk honestly about Islam as an evil death cult that needs to be removed. The next 5-10 years could prove pivotal.
Buzz says
Wow, there are intelligent people on this planet, I had just about given up….
Fitna says
Much appreciated Buzz…I know the feeling. 🙂
Bret says
So you were smarter than everyone else at thirteen. Most scientist today, ones without an agenda believe there is an intelligent designer of this world. We all have a god, I suspect you are yours.
Fitna says
Bret, I don’t know what stats you’re reading but most of the ones I’ve found from Pew Research, Nature.com and others reputable outlets indicate 70-90% (or higher) Atheism among scientists.
But even if 100% of scientists and humans “believed” a god exists, does it is make it true or is this the argument by population fallacy? At one time most of humanity thought the world was flat and they were all wrong.
Imagine living in a world where flat-earthers were a theocratic regime and they punished, jailed, killed people for challenge their church’s dogma…oh wait, Christians were doing exactly that when scientists like Galileo and other presented an alternate version of the universe which contradicted so-called ‘holy books.’
Oh and Theists are intelligent also…but I think they stop using their brain on the topic of religion.
‘Beliefs’ are nothing more than ideas and wishful thinking. We need to raise kids to believe things based on proof/evidence.
If an actual God existed why would he be afraid to show himself to humanity? Why couldn’t he meet with us, then demonstrate he is actually a God, then tell us what he demands of us?
Your God is a hide-and-seek champion-never been found in countless millenia, or he’s timid, or guess what? He’s not real and just a figment of our imagination-just like Superman and the Kraken, Klingons and all the other things we invented. Jesus is simply Santa Claus for adults, people need to grow out of these ancient, outdated mythologies.
Also Occam’s Razor applies here…the simplest answer is likely the right one, there is no God.
As for me being god-why would I think that? I have no powers…I’m human like you.
Where did our universe come from? A singularity…if you read the science, it all becomes plausible and reasonable, no gods are needed.
But since nobody was there at the beginning we don’t know the answer…and there’s nothing wrong with saying I don’t know. Why invent gods for lightning, thunder, oceans, universes, when there is no evidence for them? Also you haven’t solved the mystery by creating a new mystery, where did your god come from? A super-god…you get the idea.
PRCS says
Well, a fine post–as usual.
With a caveat.
“Our” Muslims aren’t going to leave of their own accord and government agencies will not/cannot physically force them to.
IMO, the solution is to enact legislaton which specifically and strictly prohibits the infiltration of “foreigh law” into the U.S. Constitution/laws. Specifically Islamic law in this case. But, given very effective Muslim propaganda campaiigns–think CAIR–I’m not sure the tide can be turned.
Fitna says
Thank you PRCS,
Indeed, it will likely take force to remove Muslims. I believe however if every nation had a Geert Wilders type person in power, then you can create laws or enforce existing ones to justify the expulsion of millions of Muslims.
In fact mideast countries have done something similar, like Saudi Arabia declaring Pakistanis to be a terrorist threat and they deported tens of thousands. Pakistan recently did the same with huge numbers of Afghans.
Aslo as you pointed out, Sharia law seeks to supplant our western laws and Muslims seek to overthrow our govt’s…that is sedition and can be used to justify their removal.
Where there is a will there is a way…I’ll bet, should Geert become PM (very likely), and if he’s not curtailed by other parties, we are going to be impressed by what he’s going to pull off.
I suspect the Netherlands will be the first European nation to reverse the migration trend and he’ll likely kick out most if not all of them. He was already telling Moroccans and other Muslims to pack their bags a couple of years ago…now it could happen.
James Lincoln says
Fitna says,
“I believe however if every nation had a Geert Wilders type person in power, then you can create laws or enforce existing ones to justify the expulsion of millions of Muslims.”
Yes, as long as they have the backing of their “own version” of Congress, DOJ, etc.
PRCS says
If they’re citizens, they can’t be expelled because of their beliefs.
If they act out those aspects of Islamic law which violate U.S law, they can be arrested, charged, prosecuted, and jailed if found guilty.
Easier (but not easy [thank you Brandon, Myorkas, and other Dems]), re: valid visa holders and those here illegally who–after completion of appropriate legal proceddings–can be sent packing.
With few exceptions, we are, unfortunately, stuck with those Muslims who are U.S. citizens by birth or Naturalization.
