Who would have guessed that the next trendy, chic thing among America’s addled and miseducated youth would be Islam?
It was perhaps inevitable that young secular Westerners, their self-centered lives achingly meaningless, would gravitate to the only force that seems to present an alternative to the culture of materialism, hedonism, and increasing madness in which they’ve been marinating since birth. But many of these people are likely to wake up in the morning with a massive buyer’s remorse headache.
First, there was the Osama bin Laden craze on TikTok. Hordes of witless millennials suddenly discovered the terror titan’s 2002 letter to America and professed to find wisdom in its whiny grievance-mongering and Jew-hatred. But that was just the beginning. Now the same disaffected, diseducated, and rationality-challenged millennials are embracing not just Osama, but the whole hog, or if you prefer, the whole halal enchilada, and converting to Islam.
High-profile “influencers” are driving much of this trend. First, there was former kickboxer and accused sex trafficker Andrew Tate, who converted to Islam precisely because it sanctifies brute force and intolerance, qualities that he confuses with strength and sees lacking in the woke, relativistic half-men and men who think they’re women of the contemporary left. Following Tate into the Religion of Peace was the “Internet personality” Sneako, who is now doing his part to bring into the fold of Muhammad the legions of antisemites who have revealed themselves since Hamas’ Oct. 7 jihad massacre in Israel.
On Thursday, the venomously anti-Israel propagandist Jackson Hinkle, who has over two million followers on X, tweeted (X’d?) a video in which Sneako presents him with a biography of Muhammad, the prophet of Islam. Hinkle wrote: “Thanks @sneako for gifting me the biography of the Prophet Muhammad. It’s already a very eye-opening read.”
It is indeed, although Sneako is unlikely to have given Hinkle a Muhammad biography that will enlighten the anti-Israel advocate about Muhammad’s violence, cruelty, Jew hatred, misogyny, and the like. Or maybe he did, as it could be that they both regard all those aspects of the Islamic prophet’s life (as it is depicted in early Islamic texts) as positives.
Either way, if Hinkle decides to convert to Islam, he could meet up with some interesting people in the new converts class at his local mosque. The UK’s Daily Mail reported Sunday that hatred of Israel and support for Hamas, so prevalent among leftists since Oct. 7, is now leading many millennials to embrace Islam, which they see as the “ultimate rebellion against the West.”
Some of these people should have looked before they leaped. One is a woman named Alex, who describes herself as a “leftist queer gremlin.” This particular gremlin has been going to pro-Hamas demonstrations and recently bought a Qur’an, made a formal conversion to Islam, and started wearing a hijab.

The medievals gave us the Magna Carta, the idea of a jus divino et naturae, division of power and decentralization, etc. It is one reason why they are considered so backwards and benighted by the modern evolutionary materialist socialists.
And please don’t throw this business of “religion” being uniformly bad when applied to politics. It depends on which religion. The ideas of political compact, the political supremacy of law, and a voice for the governed were all but written into Reformed political theology. The idea of man’s radical sinfulness led such men as Samuel Rutherford–political and theological spokesman for Covenanting Scotland–to declare that absolute power is “too great a burthen for mortal shoulders” (_Lex Rex_, 1644). In contrast, paganism always gives us a god-king; Islam hopes for a new “rightly guided” Caliph.
As for evolutionary materialism, its adherents in power killed, imprisoned, exiled, or otherwise ruined more people in the 20th century alone, in the names of Social Justice and Progress, than suffered for heresy or blasphemy in the 13 centuries between the conversion of Constantine and Ruggles v. NY. Bentzion Netanyahu (father to Bibi), in his work on the Spanish Inquisition, determined that between its inception in the 1480’s and Bonaparte’s abolition of the institution, it did in perhaps 4,000+ people (and Netanyahu was certainly no friend of the Inquisition)–but this is about a year’s toll in the internecine struggles of the Spanish Left in the 1930’s.
As a Christian, I hold no candle for Islam. But having lived long enough to see Leftist writers plop the label “fundamentalism’ on Islamicist politics, and then end p rooting for Hamas, I am disgusted by both the secular Left and Islam.

Yes, the so-called “Palestinians” are intensely jealous of the Jews in Israel. And the muslims are, undoubtedly, keenly aware that the average IQ of Jews is much higher than that of muslims. Ironically, the Jews would help them if they could do so peacefully.
On a personal level, throughout my medical training, I found it more helpful to learn from Jewish physicians rather than to despise them.

Obviously this is what the Global Elites want or they would stop it. For a millennium, the West stopped Islamic expansionism for very good reason. Now, this millenium, Islam is the preferred option.
Such a shame for our young kids who have to grow up in this future horror. My 12 year old certainly doesn’t want this and I didn’t vote it in – or I didn’t mean to because the UK Conservative Government are certainly in on it.

Most true antisemitism (not criticism of Israel or Jews, or Judaism) seems to be based on either jealousy or weakness. White Westerners saying the jews control their lives is pathetic. Yeah, atheist jews fund leftist marxist garbage, so what?
The muslims, on the other hand fall into the jealous side. Man are they pissed that European jews created a thriving modern country in the middle of Bedouin tents and herds of camels. It makes them look bad that it took Europeans to create wealth for them through oil, while the jews built theirs from scratch. Picture the Middle East without us drilling their oil. It would look more similar to Muhammad’s Arabia than the one we see today. Meanwhile, the Israelis pump out Nobel prize winners in science (the one’s that count), invent new medical technology every year, and have turned an infertile strip of desert into one of the most prosperous countries in the world. It drives the muslims CRAZY.
