Today, as I was going through Yusuf Ali’s translation of the Qur’an, I discovered with great surprise that his verse numbering system in this sura does not align with that of most other translations — even the Arabic numbering is off. So, FYI, as I turned to 5.116, I found not the passage you referred to (Allah’s misunderstanding of the Trinity), but the previous story of the disciples asking Jesus to have the heavenly Doordash messenger deliver a table filled with delights that they can feast on (Muhammad’s gross distortion of the Last Supper). What in other Qur’ans is 5.116 is found instead in 5.119 in Yusuf Ali’s version. Granted I purchased my edition in 1980 from mosque, but have any of you seen this same discrepancy? Do more recent versions of Yusuf Ali change the textual numbering system? I note that the online translation found in the Quranic Arabic Corpus makes Ali toe the line with all the other translations.

The PICKTHALL translation is accepted by muslims.That’s why i got a copy.
Not surprising that confusion abounds really as there are different korans:it has not been perfectly preserved at all.

The ‘reality’ is that the Land never belonged to the mozlums. The Land was given to the Jews, Hebrews, Israelites and it is still theirs.
The mozlum hordes invaded and *stole* the Land and everything that still existed upon it. But stealing something does not then make the thief the legal owner of the thing stolen.
But, he has spoken what every mozlum believes and intends….that they will keep fighting until all of the Jews, Hebrews, Israelites, have been murdered and they have, once again, stolen the Land and all that still exists upon it.
This fact is the most important fact….the Land belongs to the Jews, but the mozlums will be fighting to steal it as long as any mozlums exist.

Therefore a “two state solution” is out of the question. .This is because a “two state solution” not really a “solution” but an Islamic ploy of deception , a smokescreen and hoax and a fraud.

The insidious scheme is part of the stealth jihad .Otherwise known as “Islamic Gradualism.” This sly and something subtle strategy of disingenuous speech, lying deception of achieving the goal of all the land of Israel a war ploy that will be a disaster if the heads of the State of Israel are foolish enough to agree to divide the land of Israel with Muslim /Arabs ,the “Palestinians.” For if such a “peace dialogue” results in a divided land, the outcome will literally be murder.
