The jihad is global. It is particularly severe against Israel because Israel is the only infidel country (and only shining light) in the Middle East. Islam brutally conquered the Middle East, but Israel is a constant reminder of its failure to wipe out the one, tiny, infidel Jewish nation. Israel is a democratic country with which democratic nations can identify. The jihadis are also massacring civilians elsewhere: they are doing so on a genocidal scale in Africa, with their victims being primarily Christians. The jihad also continues to rampage through any territory that it can possibly reach or into which it can expand.
The Pope of Islam, meanwhile, weighed in on the bombing in the Philippines with his usual attempt to diminish the threat of jihad. He made an address, but would he ever test his own convictions and faith by speaking the same words in the middle of ISIS territory without his Swiss Guard to find out whether his appeal would work?
Along with the pope’s empty words and continued lack of empathy for the victims of jihad, the pope continues to advocate for open-door immigration throughout the West, despite the threat of jihad. He has also, meanwhile, rejected Catholic tradition and Christian dogma.
“Islamic State claims responsibility for deadly Philippine bombing,” by Karen Lema and Neil Jerome Morales, Reuters, December 3, 2023:
MANILA, Dec 3 (Reuters) – Islamic State militants claimed responsibility for a deadly bombing at a Catholic Mass in the Philippines on Sunday that killed at least four people and injured 50 others.
The attack was carried out in a university gymnasium in Marawi, a city in the south of the country besieged by Islamist militants for five months in 2017.
The Islamic State group, which wields influence in the country’s south, said on Telegram its members had detonated the bomb.
Earlier on Sunday, before Islamic State’s claim, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr condemned “the senseless and most heinous acts perpetrated by foreign terrorists”. Police and the military strengthened security in the country’s south and around the capital Manila.
In Rome, Pope Francis offered prayers for the victims during his Sunday address, and, in a separate written message, appealed to “Christ the prince of peace (to) grant to all the strength to turn from violence and overcome every evil with good”….
Ray Jarman says
When Pope Lenin states, “Christ the prince of peace (to) grant to all the strength to turn from violence and overcome every evil with good,” he is correct. A good military with good weapons and leadership can overcome evil. His kissing the lower back side of terrorists only leads to more terrorism.
