Just yesterday, Jihad Watch reported that Langara College in British Columbia had reinstated Natalie Knight, the professor who called the Oct. 7 jihad massacre an “amazing, brilliant offensive,” and then bragged about suffering no professional consequences for doing so. Pressure on Langara College rose to the point that college officials have now dismissed Knight. The school insisted, however, that “the move was not a direct result of Natalie Knight’s widely-reported comments.” Then why was she dismissed? Was it because of her followup comments after the school reinstated her? Knight said of the reinstatement: “It means we won. It means I did nothing wrong. It means none of you are doing anything wrong.”
Langara College has stood by Knight’s comments that October 7 was “an amazing brilliant offensive,” both by reinstating her and stating that her firing was not a result of her comments.
The CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver (JFGV), Ezra Shanken, said: “It’s a criminal offence to glorify terrorism in Canada, and believes authorities should act.” Knight’s statement not only glorified jihad terror, but her actions also be arguably incited hatred and violence against Jews in a country that is hypersensitive about mere criticism of Islam, and cracks down on “offenders.” A few examples:

An update on this story. “B.C. college drops instructor who called Hamas attack ‘amazing, brilliant,’” by Simon Little, Global News, January 26, 2024:
Vancouver’s Langara College confirmed Friday that a professor who faced public outcry for describing the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks on Israel as “amazing” and “brilliant” is no longer an employee.
However, the school said the move was not a direct result of Natalie Knight’s widely-reported comments.
Knight had been on leave since November, after she was recorded speaking at am Oct. 29 pro-Palestine rally outside the Vancouver Art Gallery, where she described the Oct. 7 attacks as an “amazing, brilliant offensive.”
Word of the dismissal came just days after Knight, an English instructor and Indigenous curriculum consultant, said she had been reinstated by the college.
At a Tuesday rally near the college, Knight told supporters she had been “reinstated as an instructor with no disciplinary actions, which means we won,” student publication The Langara Voice reported.
“It means we won. It means I did nothing wrong. It means none of you are doing anything wrong.”
On Friday, the institution issued a statement confirming — without directly naming Knight — that an employee who had made “widely reported comments” at an off-campus event in October was “no longer an employee of Langara College.”
The college said that while it condemned the comments, it had conducted an internal investigation and determined “that the employee’s comments were not clearly outside the bounds of protected expression.”
Knight was to be reinstated “with the expectation they would comply with the College’s policies and initiatives which support a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning and working environment” and was “expected to take care to ensure any future remarks could not reasonably be interpreted as celebrating violence against civilians,” according to the college….

Recently, when this girl, Natalie, was laid off from work, I mentioned that ‘the pendulum will swing the other way’ (back to her) with a retribution (effects) matching the causes conveyed in her cruel, unfeeling comments praising Hamas child butchery. It seems her demise has come sooner than expected!
Her pre-occupation with ‘winning’ and her earlier comment (after reinstatement) that ‘This shows we have done nothing wrong’ suggests she is somewhat whimsical and fickle, and living in a private little world divorced from any traces of feelings for the suffering of others.
Many life-philosophies conjecture that lives are mutually inclusive and have a shared basis of origination (however perceived). Being inter-dependent, then, violating the life of another is in a sense violating one’s own.
The only reason why I’m referring to these things is that they provide I feel some insight into the nature of ’empathy’, whereby one perceives he suffering of another through one’s own life. It does not discriminate and is outside of the reach or influence of even the strongest beliefs. It is I feel, more innate than compassion: the degree to which this is felt seems to vary from person to person.
As such (sorry for deviation) I cannot understand why Natalie feels no empathy for those innocent Israelis cut up, burnt and be-headed. I know myself I would feel the same exact empathy for Palestinians given the same treatment by Israelis – my political views, beliefs, character etc would have no bearing on this perception of another’s suffering whatsoever.
I didn’t even think idiocy would prevent one from feeling empathy. But then again, maybe I’m mistaken (and a little naive) as all of the ‘Pro-Palestine’ indoctrinates seem to be missing this supposedly inherent perception.

As with most that follow a Nazi line of thinking (regardless how it is cloaked), she believes Jewish blood is cheap and worthless.

Mind watch,
It all makes sense if Natalie believes that Jews are “less than human”…

“winning” …all important to this ghoul. and ghoul she is. Anyone who would praise what was done by the terrorists to the unborn, newborn, little kids, young people and elderly is a ghoul just as much as those doing the evil deeds.
One word in her praise….separated from the others…is correct. Everything having to do with the slaughter…the actions by hamas, ‘palestinians,’ gazans, and the reactions by people like her is ****offensive.****
She should try to get a position iwth al jazeera.
tim gallagher says
She should be pretty much unemployable with her views supporting the sadistic scum of the earth from hamas, who committed such atrocities, but, no doubt, she’ll find some kind of job somewhere. Anyway, good riddance. With her poisonous views, no way should she be teaching, indoctrinating, students with her vile point of view. I imagine that she will be seen as some kind of hero and a martyr by those other evil scum who have supported the monsters from hamas.

Canada: College abruptly fires prof who called Oct. 7 ‘amazing, brilliant,’ days after reinstating her
………………………………..
Well, good for this college–althiugh they were clearly reacting to pressure from decent people. Kudos to everyone who spoke out against this savagery.
And not that it much matters, but if I had a really ugly evil twin she would look pretty much like Natalie Knight.
Bernie says
Instead of Natalie Knight, her name should be either Natalie Blight or Natalie Grim Reaper. Much more fitting.

Not surprising,,,,,in Marxist British Columbia……..

That terrible she should never have bee reinstated. This might an indication that the stealth jihadists do have a strong influence in that Collage. Nevertheless, its still stands that this collage professor who said that awful statement must, without, doubt, must be ,at heart , a terrible lawless women. for in any way speaking in admiration for those evil malicious death inflecting Muslims terrorists of Hamas who invaded Israel on October 7th. 2023 and committed mass murder and butchery on the peaceful Jewish citizens of the State of Israel.
The only good thing about that day was that troops of the Israel Defense Forces came to fight against those Muslims savages of Hamas. It would have been best if the IDF came sooner , butt nevertheless, they did come to strongly apposed ,with military might, those cruel vile and murderous jihadists of Hamas.
As all this is a reflection of what is printed in the Bible in Proverbs 28:4 which reads “Those who forsake the law praise the wicked , but such as keep the law contend with them.” [N.K.J.V.]
