China is calling for a “larger scale peace conference” and a “two-state solution.” Considering China’s real agenda and its history of antisemitism, along with its little-known collaboration with jihadists, the call is not really intended for “peace,” but reflects, instead, another gang-up to weaken the resolve of Israel, this time led by a powerful global player.
“China calls for larger-scale peace conference on Gaza crisis,” Reuters, January 15, 2024:
China Foreign Minister Wang Yi said the war in Gaza continues to escalate and China is calling for a larger-scale, more authoritative and effective international peace conference and a concrete timetable to implement a two-state solution.
Wang made the comments to reporters after talks with the Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry in Cairo, sharing his views on the Israel-Hamas war, according to a statement from the Chinese foreign ministry late on Sunday.
Separately, Wang also held talks with the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States
It’s no secret that the Palestinians have perpetually sought a “one-state solution,” that is, the total destruction of Israel, as they have reiterated incessantly in chants, “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free.” The Palestinian Authority’s recent increase of “pay-for-slay” payments by $1.3 million per month as an ongoing motivation for terrorists to murder Israelis is another indicator.
In November, Arab and Muslim ministers visited China in a quest for a ceasefire in Israel’s war with Gaza. China, in fact, has already openly called for a ceasefire, while its foreign minister, Wang Yi, not only “called for a global peace conference” two months ago, but also “accused Israel of going beyond the scope of self defence.” China completely ignored the Hamas Charter’s stated mission to annihilate the Jewish state, as well as the savage nature of the attack on Israeli civilians on October 7, while trivializing the real threat to Israel, as indicated by Wang Yi’s reduction of the mission of Israel’s battle in Gaza to simply “self defense.” China is anything but naive. It knows the implications of a ceasefire, as it has steadily courted Islamic nations. Its renewed call for a “larger-scale peace conference” thus cannot be taken at face value.
China’s broader ambitions are anything but benign. The Carnegie Endowment reported in 2020 that “signs that China is gearing up to contest America’s global leadership are unmistakable, and they are ubiquitous.” In 2017, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced that his country had entered a “new era,” and must “take center stage in the world.” A year later, Xi also called for China to “lead the reform of the global governance system.” And it’s happening. China’s rapidly expanding Belt and Road Initiative, its sheer number of vessels at sea (submarines, warships, amphibious warfare vessels, and auxiliaries) and domination of high-tech industries are all markers of this. Another is its expanding influence as it leads global negotiations in the world’s greatest trouble spot, the Middle East. At the start of the new year, Wang Yi, in a meeting with the League of Arab States Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, stated that “China and the Arab League are true friends and good partners, and that the Chinese side appreciates the fact that the Arab League has always provided firm support on issues concerning to China’s core interests and major concerns.”
Following October 7, Chinese social media platforms were “awash with antisemitism” that “aligns with Beijing’s policy aims.” Remember that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) tightly controls social media platforms “through both automated and manual tools, meaning the hate speech that remains uncensored reflects the regime’s decisions.” China even applauded Australia’s rejection of America’s request to join its Red Sea Naval Operation. Instead of a ship, Australia provided additional support staff.
China’s brokering of Saudi-Iran rapprochement last March gave the People’s Republic a distinct advantage in global leadership, aided also by America’s rapid decline under Joe Biden. At the same time, the rapprochement between Saudi Arabia and Iran appeared to be a huge victory for the unity of the Islamic ummah. China has also vocally supported the Iran nuke deal, and advised further “dialogue” to “unfreeze” it. Also, MEMRI revealed after the October 7 attacks on Israel that Hamas’ Leader Abroad, Khaled Mashal, stated that “the Chinese are thinking of carrying out a similar attack in Taiwan.”
Consider also the historic link between China and the PLO. Mohammed Deif, Hamas’ top military commander in the Gaza Strip, who heads the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades, was sent by the PLO to China in 1996, where he was enrolled in the People’s Liberation Army (PLA)’s Ordnance Engineering College in Shijiazhuang, and studied Artillery Technology. Mohammed Deif was the military mastermind of the October 7 attacks.
A report in the Times of Israel in June, entitled “Having given up on the US, Palestinians look to China to mediate peace with Israel,” was largely ignored by the mainstream media, but that plea is now proving to be a powerful thorn in Israel’s side, as China now seeks a “peace conference” in a quest to heighten its Middle East influence, to the obvious benefit of Hamas in the Palestinian jihad against Israel.

China is definitely not in on a two state solution……… for Taiwan and China.

I like a multi-state solution as far as China goes – not just Taiwan, but also Tibet, Manchuria, Hong Kong, Macao & even Guangzhou (Canton), as well as Southern Mongolia ceded to Mongolia. However, I’m not on board w/ “East Turkistan”, which would probably be another jihad state: maybe make that area a part of Kyrgyzstan, and hand over Hotan, Yarkent and Kashgar to, maybe India

Will Chinese authorities be so quick to call for a two-state solution between China and Taiwan? I do not think so.
Crown says
I agree.
A two-state solution:
Communist China and Taiwan.
Whaddya think, there, Xi?
Blougeoisie says
Two state solution with Tibet as well. Palestine can never be truly free if Tibet is still under occupation.
Blougeoisie says
Palestine can never truly be free as long as Tibet is under occupation

First, the meeting of Communist China’s foreign minister with those Muslims who are Arab leaders is yet another example of the phenomenon, which is called the “Red/Green alliance”
Second, that “two- State solution “ which in reality is nothing but a recipe for disaster.
As observed when that jihad terror Hamas started this current war it stated on 7th of October further reveals the terrible folly about the idea of a “two-state solution”. For that so called “solution” will definitely not stop this awful Israeli –Muslim land conflict.
Thus a “two state solution” is out of the question. .This is because a “two state solution” not really a “solution” but an Islamic ploy of deception, a smokescreen and hoax and a fraud.
As observed early October7th with those Hamas Islamic terror/murder attacks into Israel from Gaza reveals that even the idea of some people of dividing Jerusalem as well as other parts of the State of Israel between the Jewish people of the Muslim/ Arabs is nothing but folly.
To engage the madness of such “talks” is a hoax and a farce .This is because in the so called “negotiations” between the heads of the Jewish nation of Israel and the leaders of the “Palestinians” the Muslim /Arabs the “Palestinian” leaders will speak the truth only when in happens to fit their agenda. The rest of the time the will be speaking half-truths and outright lies. For their goal is to obtain all of the land of the State of Israel. Even in it takes much time and it means getting the land piece by piece. Therefore, those “peace talks” are a hoax.
For the “Palestinian” leaders are employing what is the Islamic doctrine of Taqiyya . Which is the Islamic dogma that lying and deception are good things to do as long as it’s done for the cause of the advancement of Islam. The insidious scheme is part of the stealth jihad .Otherwise known as “Islamic Gradualism.” This sly and something subtle strategy of disingenuous speech, lying deception of achieving the goal of all the land of Israel a war ploy that will be a disaster if the heads of the State of Israel are foolish enough to agree to divide the land of Israel with Muslim /Arabs ,the “Palestinians.” For if such a “peace dialogue” results in a divided land, the outcome will literally be murder. For “Palestinian” leader will allow the jihadists use that land as a base to launch murderous rocket attacks in to Israel. As for example, Hamas of Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Such false hopes for peace which are based on the foundation of lies are nothing new when it comes to Israel. For example, the Bible in Psalm 55:20, 21. Reads “Such men do violence to those at peace with them and break their promised word; their speech is smoother the butter but their thoughts are of war.” [N.E.B.]

I don’t agree w/ Christine that Beijing is anti-Semitic: they have no history of that, unlike the Soviets. Also, Jerusalem & Beijing do have normal ties on other issues, unlike, say, Jerusalem and Kuwait. It’s just that Beijing is both mercenary, & on the world diplomatic stage, they take whichever side will land them more vassals. As it is, the entire muslim world (maybe except the Gulf countries) are a part of the Belt/Road Initiative
But as others suggested above, Israel can play that same game & call for the Chicoms to vacate Tibet, Southern Mongolia, Manchuria and Guangdong (including Hong Kong and Macao). Let’s see how Beijing likes it

God had given the Jewish people all that land that now makes up the State of Israel, including the West Bank by Divine Right. As found in Genesis 28:13-15. 35:10-12. Deuteronomy 32:48,49. Psalm 105: 7-11. 135: 4.
Therefore Red China and those Arabs leaders are overruled by God.
In addition, the Jews should have all that land by historic rights. As seen in First Kings 4; 20,21,24,25. 8:55, 56.
