As the European Union, the United Nations, and the U.S., along with Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the Arab League, plan a “peace conference” to call for a “two-state solution,” the main player, Israel, is left out of the picture.
“All EU member states agreed that the priority was to expand humanitarian assistance, stop all Israeli military activity, and address the issue of the hostages held in Gaza.” Meanwhile, “Qatar slammed Netanyahu” for calling it “’problematic’ because it hosts the terrorist billionaire leaders of Hamas while also mediating between Hamas and Israel.” Qatar is a strong supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Israel has already stated unequivocally that it does not intend to “stop all military activity” until Hamas is eliminated, along with the threat of its jihadist allies. Israel has no other choice.
In blatant disrespect for Israel’s sovereignty, European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell also threatened that “if that proposal isn’t agreed [upon], then there is some leverage to force Israel’s engagement.”
The Palestinian leadership, as is well documented, seeks a one-state solution, the destruction of Israel from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea. A mid-November survey was released by a West Bank polling firm. It “asked Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank what kind of state they wanted to establish: one state for two peoples garnered the support of 5.4 per cent of respondents; a two-state solution was supported by 17.2 per cent; but the clear-winner, with 74.7 per cent in favour, was a “Palestinian state from the river to the sea.”
Any discussion about a two-state solution has perpetually involved Israel returning to pre-1967 borders, with Palestinians claiming East Jerusalem as the capital of a “State of Palestine.” Although Islam occupies the entire Middle East except for Israel, and already has its holy sites in Mecca and Medina, it also wants to maintain its conquest of the holiest site to Jews — the Temple Mount — which is called the al-Aqsa compound in Islam. In fact, the October 7 atrocities against Israelis was called Operation Al Aqsa Flood. Should Israel surrender to the demands of the Palestinians in their lie about pursuing a two-state solution, it would mean Israel’s destruction. Already one can see how many of these globalist leaders have abandoned Israel in the wake of October 7.
Global antisemites are ganging up on Israel, as the red-green axis is empowered. It is up to citizens to oppose them; they are voted in by the populace. Hamas has made its intentions clear regarding global conquest, as well as the obliteration of Israel.
“EU chief Borrell threatens Israel on two-state solution,” by Rina Bassist and Tovah Lazaroff, Jerusalem Post, January 22, 2024:
European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell on Monday called for an international peace conference to draft a road map for a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians.
Tools exist to pressure Israel into participating, he said.
“There is an initial draft for a peace plan that will provide robust security for Israel and the future state of Palestine,” Borrell said.
If that “proposal isn’t agreed [upon] then there is some leverage” to force Israel’s engagement, Borrell said.
Background on the meeting
He spoke after the EU foreign ministers’ monthly meeting in Brussels, which included an unusual set of back-to-back talks with their Middle East counterparts. The visiting foreign ministers were Israel Katz of Israel, Saudi Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, Ayman Safadi of Jordan, Sameh Shoukry of Egypt, and Riyad al-Maliki of the Palestinian Authority.
The EU foreign ministers also spoke with Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
“I don’t think we should talk about the Middle East peace process anymore,” Borrell told reporters after the meeting. “We should start talking specifically about the two-state-solution implementation process.”
“Peace is a very general objective,” he said. “Everyone agrees on the need for peace. No one would say they are against peace. But here we are not talking about peace in general. Here we are talking about peace via a specific process.”
Now, the conversation should be about how to implement a two-state solution, Borrell said…..

Israel’s foreign minister, Israel Katz, was in attendance. But, the others don’t wish to listen to him or his ideas; because they want to force Israel to just give in and be eliminated.
The EU can’t provide security for anyone, much less protect Israel from its many enemies right next door.
What is more, they don’t care if Israel ceases to exist.

They CAN’T help Ukraine militarily in their own backyard but condescend to deny Israeli sovereignty in. imposing their own “peace solution” to the “Middle East” problem. Sounds inept from the start, including on the “diplomatic” level. Do any of these arrogant diplomacy positors have a clue what forces they are dealing with? They will likely be on their own to force anything, which means it will come to nothing. Islam has been antisemitic from its origins 1400 years ago and Jews having been subject to pogroms, holocausts, ethnic cleansings, and banditry for hundreds of years from all quarters have HAD IT. The Europeans COULD have done something BEFORE 10/7 about Hamas’ tenet of destruction of Israel, but no, they just let the UN foist its incompetent programs on a completely hostile population to accomplish nothing positive. Clue – more of the same is coming.

But WHY do they think that is a Solution? Another state of Islam teaching the main theme of Islam’s Supremacy and therefore entitlement to Israel? How is that a solution?

To paraphrase Josef Stalin, how many divisions does the EU have?

Seriously. Who do these EU and US creeps think they are? Mind your own business, I say, and so should Israel. It is not like either of those two have made good decisions for their own people. You would have to be an idiot to listen to them.

By actual surveys, 95% of the people in Gaza do not want a 2 state solution. Yet the EU thinks they are more important than the people of Gaza, and Gaza should be humiliated by the EU’s actions. As the article says, a 2 state solution is spelled as “suicide” for Israel. The only conclusion is that the EU wants the Jews dead and the rest of the people subjugated to the EU’s stupidity.

EU and Demokrats are obviously as bad as the nazi.
Borell and all the others leftists and antisemits have always tried to destroy Israel
EU should kick out all these neo nazis.
Of course PM Netanyahu will not listen to them

A little ditty for the EU and US representatives.

I think that sings it all.

Just as relevant today as it was in 1949.
tgusa says
That’s for sure.

Nobody ever voted for Borell, so nobody is compelled to listen to him.
He should mind his own business.
As he claims to work for the EU then protect the people of EU against the US economic aggression which is based on the Wolfovitz doctrine.
And protect the people of EU against the globalist members of WEF and against the surrender of democracy and sovereignty to the public/private partnership WHO.

So what’s he going to do about the fact that the leaders of Hamas themselves reject a two-state solution? And why doesn’t he acknowledge the fact that the present situation already is a two-state situation? If you ask me these people are imbecilic and, thus, incompetent for their stations. Either that, or they are on the take. Any which way, they are unfit for their tasks and should scoot.

I just want to say in my looking up of who is Joseph Borrell I found that he is a member of the Spanish Socialist Workers Party. Many years ago as a student I learned and talked with members of SWP in demonstrations against the US war in Vietnam. Those conversations revealed many things to me one of which that they supported a world wide communists government which today can be called globalists. Their founder was one named Leon Trotsky and these people were unlike d by many in the anti-war movement. So SWP was always a radical left group and how they refashioned themselves and repackaged their extreme vision to become members of the EU shows to me a major decline in upholding the ideas of democracy and individual rights within the EU.

Since everyone agreed after the Holocaust that the Jews had a right to their own country (where they could be safe), and I believe all the nations of the UN agreed it should be in their ancestral homeland; I find it ironic that the world is now calling on Israel to give up their homeland and divide it up with their avowed enemies.
It is my understanding that the Palestinians were offered 80-90% of the physical area of current Israel back in the 1920’s and they rejected it out of hand. That tells me that they were unwilling to share “Palestine” with any Jews. In 1948 they were offered 45% and they asked why the Jews should get 55%. The answer was that a large part of the area to be given to the Jews was inhospitable desert and hundreds of thousands of displaced Jews were coming from Europe. They rejected this offer as well.
There have been several other offers over the years. The Palestinians have rejected them all because they do not want to share “Palestine” with any Jews at all. How do you negotiate or “reason” with that kind of mentality? Muslims have a congenital hatred of Jews starting from birth and it is proscribed in their holy book, the Qur’an.
