…In response to a query on the matter, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit tells The Times of Israel that a military aircraft “identified and struck a terrorist who operated an aircraft in a way that put IDF forces at risk.”
The IDF says it is aware of “the claim that during the strike two other suspects who were with the terrorist in the same vehicle were hit.”
Hamza Wael Dahdouh, the son of Al Jazeera’s Gaza correspondent Wael Al-Dahdouh, and Mustafa Thuria, a video stringer for AFP who was also working for the Qatar-based TV outlet, both died in the strike in southern Gaza’s Rafah.

If a bank is robbed and the cops shoot at the getaway car, the driver….who never entered the bank…may be killed alongside his partners in crime. If he lives, he is prosecuted.
al jezeera supports terrorism and lies to favor the actions of terror; it is populated by fellow terrorists. One is known by the company he keeps.

Point well stated Somehistory. Also if Hamas or it friendly terrorist allies were to witness an Israeli journalist with the IDF, does anyone think for one second that the journalist would be excluded from an attack. I bet if a journalist for say FOX News were to be with a group of soldiers reporting on the events, that journalist would be attacked and if taken hostage, I would not bet on his/her survival.

Awesome. Too bad Israel can’t simply bomb al Jazeera in Doha, lest the Qataris take any PR action. But as Daniel Greenfield noted yesterday, al Jazeera is a terrorist organization in its own right

When it comes to Jihad, the Muslim world has no use for the western concepts that differentiate between a “civilian” and a “combatant.” All Muslims are considered to be combatants in a never ending war against the kuffar of the world. And all infidels are legitimate targets and therefore “combatants” because they have not submitted to Islam. So when the west keeps pressuring Israel to minimize “civilian” casualties, they have no clue how Muslims see themselves and the rest of the world. So they take advantage of this naivite and use it as a tool to weaken the fight against the Jihadis.
