We have seen Jewish and pro-Israel students menaced, threatened, harassed and physically attacked on campuses all over the country. And the atmosphere against them has become so poisonous that even when the University of Cincinnati resolves to take action against all the Jew-hatred, it has to add in that it is taking action against “Islamophobia” as well, and pretend that there is some equivalence between how Jews are being treated and how Muslims are treated. In reality, Muslims on campus (and off) in the U.S. are a protected victim group, cosseted and coddled by the Left because of all the discrimination and harassment they supposedly suffer, but in reality do not (and should not).
“University of Cincinnati creates taskforce to combat antisemitism and Islamophobia on campus,” by Zack Carreon, WVXU, January 9, 2024:
…As the University of Cincinnati begins its spring semester, the school is taking action to reduce antisemitic and Islamophobic rhetoric on campus.
In a letter sent to faculty and staff, President Neville Pinto announced he would create an “Academic Task Force on Building Community for Democracy.”
“The ugliness we see far too often in our society as a reaction to difference hurts us all,” he wrote. “I’m concerned that we may not be fully providing the knowledge and skills that enable our students — our future graduates and leaders — to wrestle effectively with such issues.”
Pinto says the taskforce will be comprised of academic experts from the university and will study the rise of antisemitism and Islamophobia within the community. The group will then come up with solutions that intend to make UC’s campus a more inclusive space.
Since the October start of the war between Israel and Hamas, multiple student protests related to the conflict have been held on campus, but dialogue from some caused President Pinto to release a statement calling for the community to denounce hate, racism, and prejudice.
While Pinto stated the university believes in freedom of speech, he encouraged the community to show compassion and avoid degrading others….

People are known to lie when it suits a purpose, a goal, or when it allows some form of protection to the liar for past wrongs; and even wrongs they intend to commit.
Lying about the Jews because they are the object of hate and violence, will not be silenced….because people lie and these lies suit a purpose for the liars.
The fake “phobia” is always included these days because other people want the Truth to come out as to the “goals and purposes” of the mozlums fomenting hate and supporting violence. The Truth is labeled as a ‘phobia’ by mozlums and their supporters in order to silence those who are giving a warning regarding islam.
The admin of this school is no different. It’s like the couple who are arguing…the one says to the other, “you drove the car with a flat tire and ruined the rim,” and the other replies, “well you left the bathroom light on.”
If complaints are made about antisemitism and Jews are being attacked, then those supposedly taking action against that, must include the fake phobia.
That’s the way these days when mozlums have such power given to them.

Perfectly stated, somehistory.
My compliments.

When one speaks of the Muslim attacks on Christians around the world, that is called Islamophobia. When one makes up lies about the Jewish community, that is the truth. Not even Orwell could have made this part of his novel. I am getting very tired of this nonsense and every decent American should stand up and demand the verbal and physical attacks upon the Jewish community come to a halt.

No such thing as
‘Islamophobia’

Anyone maintaining that antisemitism and Islamophobia both have to be combatted is either a fool or a liar.
Antisemitism is quite real while Islamophobia is mendacity on steroids and thus to draw any kind of equivalency between the two should subject anyone who does so (e.g., Kamala Harris) to obloquy of the highest order.
My God, what a stupid and absurd age we live in. The fact that a complete buffoon like Joe Biden is POTUS serves as ipso facto evidence that we are living through a continual nightmare whereby fools and rogues aplenty are in charge.

Well said, Wellington. I read your last paragraph to my daughter (a smart young woman) and she said, “I totally agree with that.” As do I;

At least the university tried, even if they only things half right.

If I hear that islamophobia garbage one more time, I’m gonna puke.
