Netanyahu is correct. What’s more, a Palestinian state would, as I have said countless times, only become a new jihad base for renewed attacks on Israel, as Gaza did after the Israeli withdrawal in 2005.
One key reason why there is no Palestinian state already is because the Palestinian Arabs have steadfastly refused to recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state. The consistently anti-Israel Biden regime doesn’t appear to care about that.
Netanyahu’s statement translated by Google:
“At the cabinet meeting, I clarified my position regarding the recent talk of imposing a Palestinian state on Israel.
My position is summed up in the following two sentences:

“Netanyahu rejects unilateral Palestinian statehood after Biden call,” by Tovah Lazaroff, Jerusalem Post, February 16, 2024:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected all plans for unilateral recognition of Palestinian statehood after he spoke with US President Joe Biden for 40 minutes and after the security cabinet met.
“At the cabinet meeting, I clarified my position regarding the recent talk of imposing a Palestinian state on Israel,” Netanyahu wrote in a post on X.
“These two sentences sum up my position,” he explained.
“Israel outright rejects international dictates regarding a permanent arrangements with the Palestinians. Such an arrangement will be reached only through direct negotiations between the parties, without preconditions,” Netanyahu wrote.
“Israel will continue to oppose the unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state. Such recognition in the wake of the October 7 massacre would give a huge reward to unprecedented terrorism and prevent any future peace settlement,” Netanyahu stressed.
He spoke in the early hours of Friday after The Washington Post published an article the previous day about US plans with Arab allies to advance a two-state resolution to the conflict as part of a larger regional arrangement that would involve a Gaza ceasefire and Saudi normalization with Israel.
A number of European countries have also weighed unilateral Palestinian statehood recognition in light of the Israel-Hamas war.
Netanyahu has rejected full Palestinian statehood in favor of an autonomous Palestinian government in territory outside sovereign Israel but under IDF security control.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich who is opposed to a Palestinian state had called on the security cabinet, which met Thursday night, to publicly reject any such plan….

Palestine is just a name for the old philistines from Syria Palestine , a name given by the Romans. There is no real Palestine country or nation. After the big war these people were supposed to be part of Jordan but Jordan didn’t want them, just like nobody wants them now!

For years, the world has tried to impose such a one sided agreement upon Israel. The pressure has had the effect of demanding Israel see only the very best intentions of arabs, muslims, even as they declare there is to be no Jews living anywhere in their state. The Left in the west has attempted to force such views upon Israel and then…. after years now of missile bombardment into Israel, the Isrealis were lulled into a complacency in the Gaza border region. They were lulled into believing the ceasefire notions of Hamas and Leftist were esp proud of their kibbutzim next to gaza with lots of social justice memes sold out of those communities. Then, came Oct 7th, and the horror and slaughtering, and howling of delight from ‘ordinary’ Gazans was again on display. Such destruction of Jews is what brings celebrations to Hamas and to Gazans. And how they howled at the Israeli counter attacks. So this is what the Biden gov and the other lefties want. They want surrender, and the howls of Gazans will be on display as they shoot guns in the air proclaiming their jew free state showing allahu akbar. There would be no peace of any kind for Jews, and this is what the Biden admin. wants to shore up it’s pitiful reelection campaign.

The leftist US President t Franklin D. Roosevelt with all liberal socialist ideology still had more common sense and understanding than Joe Biden ,with comrades of the Red/Green alliance, for Biden is still striving to obtain that folly of an idea of a “two state solution.” Which in reality is no solution but a recipe for disaster. The reason why this is so is because a “Palestine state” that would be, no doubt, controlled by wicked jihad-minded Muslims with all their Islamic intolerance would only be a set up for a catastrophe in the Middle East.
As President Roosevelt, had so very wisely declared, “No compromise can end that conflict. There never has been—there never can be—successful compromise between good and evil. Only total victory can reward the champions of tolerance, and decency, and freedom, and faith.”

King Hussein of Jordon (Father died 1999) made the statement that Palestine was in Jordan, not Israel.
Israel should always stand their ground and all nations should support that.
Obama and Biden administrations have disrespected Israel, first with Obama showing the PM out the back door of the White House with trash piled up outside and Biden supporting Gaza, what a disgrace these 2 men are to our nation.
This is not about election year this is about how Obama and Biden are working to destroy Israel and that people is inexcusable on all levels.

It would work out just fine if the Palestinians wanted a two-state solution. However, EVERYBODY knows that they want a one-state solution comprising all of Israel and the territories — because they repeatedly say this. “From the river to the sea”. Of course no Jews would be allowed.
It would mean continual non-stop war which Israel could not possibly win in the long run.

Anyone with an ounce of commonsense knows that a two state solution is never going to work. Having said that, is there anyone in the Biden administration with any commonsense.

On CBS a few days ago, a reporter shared two interviews….one with a recruiter for hamas. This ghoul said….plainly….that hamas wanted all of the Land of Israel, not just a ‘state’ in a small part of it.
Even the anchor host of the news show acknowledged that the “solution” wouldn’t work because the mozlums want all of the land and all Jews dead.
When people keep pressing for a ‘two-state’ thingy, they have to know exactly for what they are pressing and just what they are demanding of Israel and the Jews.
It is not a “two-state solution” they want, and demand. It’s the “final solution.”
And they seem to be ignoring what hezbollah is doing.
