Most of us have heard the old saying: “People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.” But such folk wisdom is no deterrent to the Biden regime, which from the beginning has been under a cloud due to accusations of massive election fraud in 2020. Now America is exerting pressure on Pakistan, along with threats over Pakistan’s elections.
The heart of the issue is noted below: “A coalition of two dynastic parties assumed power in Islamabad amid accusations of election manipulation that prevented former Prime Minister Imran Khan, currently in custody, from regaining office.”
Donald Lu, the top US diplomat for South Asia, “voiced ‘serious concerns’ over the February 8 election process and persistent disruptions in media and social platforms.” Lu could just as well have been describing Biden’s America. America under Joe Biden has itself become a mockery of democracy, with its own major crises involving alleged election fraud; also, there is nothing “democratic” about Pakistan in practice, whatever Lu may choose to believe. Pakistan is a world leader in the application of Sharia blasphemy laws.
The Biden administration continues to be a global laughingstock. The Biden family’s severe corruption issues have given it the label the Biden Crime Family. America is currently in no position to be accusing and threatening another country over “election irregularities,” not even a corrupt Sharia state such as Pakistan; which has, incidentally, dismissed the US warning.
“’Misunderstanding Of …’: Pakistan Dismisses US Warning On Election Irregularities,” Times of India, March 21, 2024:
NEW DELHI: Pakistan’s government on Thursday dismissed a US warning regarding potential repercussions on bilateral relations if “irregularities” in the recently-concluded election are not investigated.
A coalition of two dynastic parties assumed power in Islamabad amid accusations of election manipulation that prevented former Prime Minister Imran Khan, currently in custody, from regaining office.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, the spokesperson for Pakistan’s foreign ministry, dismissed the concerns raised by Donald Lu, the top US diplomat for South Asia, labeling them as a misinterpretation of Pakistan’s political landscape and electoral regulations.…
Lu, addressing lawmakers, voiced “serious concerns” over the February 8 election process and persistent disruptions in media and social platforms, such as the extended suspension of X, previously known as Twitter. He urged for a thorough investigation by the Election Commission of Pakistan, emphasizing the need for rerunning elections in areas affected by interference to uphold democratic principles outlined in Pakistan’s constitution….

This is stupid on more than one level. The irony of a banana republic like ours complaining about another country like Pakistan being a banana republic is one thing. But then there is the issue of who would be the beneficiary of this apparent “principled” policy of ours
Imran Khan is a known commodity as leader. When he was prime minister, Pakistan was our adversary, and an open puppet of Beijing. He had a goal of fixing the rift b/w Saudi Arabia and Iran, and uniting them against the West, be it US, Israel or anyone else. The idea of encouraging a series of policies that could see his return to power is beyond deranged
Truth be told, none of the political parties in Pakistan would be our allies. We might have had one during the Cold War in Gen Zia ul Haq, when fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan was the shared #1 priority for both countries (mistakenly, according to some w/ 20/20 hindsight). But otherwise, all the parties are aligned w/ either China & Turkey, or the Saudis, or Iran, and there’s nothing to be gained by intervening in internal Paki politics

I think that the government of Pakistan will have an election that is secure as the United States 2020 US Presidential Election. (sarc/off)

so everyone should do what the Americans will not do

Thats right, secure elections and borders is a top priority for others but not us. And don’t tell me that having to show a valid I.D. to vote suppress minority voters in todays age of having to have an I.D. to do almost anything in our society. You almost can’t use a bathroom with our an I.D.

The irony is as thick as Biden’s tongue.

With the Biden administration, the world now knows that the United States has lost the high ground.
