After weeks of bias intimidation by Hamas supporters aimed at Jewish students and faculty, including Khymani James, an encampment leader who had talked to Columbia University officials about killing Jews, the Biden administration’s Department of Education, with the inevitability of a rigged slot machine in Reno, is launching a “civil rights investigation” into the university for “extreme anti-Palestinian, anti-Arab, and Islamophobic harassment”.

The complaint comes from ‘Palestine Legal’, the same group providing advice to the encampment protesters.

It complains that “Columbia has reinforced the hostile anti-Palestinian environment, including by suspending Students for Justice in Palestine — a student organization that advocates for Palestinian human rights — for engaging in speech activity supporting Palestinian rights”

What sort of “speech activity” did Columbia University’s SJP chapter engage in?

After Oct 7, Students for Justice in Palestine hailed the Hamas rape of girls, murder of babies and kidnapping of children as a “historic win for the Palestinian resistance”.

The national organization which has 200 chapters on campuses across North America put out a ‘toolkit’ which explained that the Jewish victims were “not civilians” and could be freely targeted.

Its poster for a ‘Day of Resistance’ featured an image of the paraglider that Hamas terrorists had used to massacre and rape young Israelis at a music festival.

Columbia University’s Students for Justice in Palestine celebrated the “unprecedented historic moment for the Palestinians of Gaza” and asserted their “full solidarity with the Palestinian resistance”. It was also a signatory to the “victory or martyrdom” statement signed by the national organization.

According to the Department of Education, celebrating the mass murder of Jews and issuing a call for “full solidarity” with a terrorist organization is “speech activity”.

The Department of Education refuses to protect Jewish students from Hamas supporters, but rushes to protect Hamas supporters from Jewish students.

    • There is a psychosis infecting Americans. I put this put down to all the unrestricted immigration in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Of course most of them were fine people but an awful lot were checked for general health but never checked fo mental illnesses. Of course mental illness was poorly understood back then..

      One tells us that those doing evil will be begging the rocks and mountains to fall over them to protect them from God’s wrath.

  5. This President is out of step with Reality, Morality and Terrorism. Can this absurd behavior all be due to an effort to have Michigan Muslim voters pull the level for Biden? So in 1938 would Biden grovel in front of German American voters for their votes by speaking well of the Nazis and saying “Well, we all know that Jews do have a way of being obnoxious at times”?

  7. This article just proves again for the umpteenth time that Joe Biden is the first puppet President in American history. Even Barack “Red Line” Obama was in charge, though foolishly so. Not Dementia Joe. No way.

    This is beyond serious. This is in the completely dangerous category. The most powerful office in the world is now occupied by a man with dementia and who was a fool pretty much overall even before he lost the mediocre mind he once had but has no more.

    I know this article is a specific one about Columbia University, Hamas supporters, et al., but there is a much larger issue here going on right now and one knows this or should know it. Enablers of Joe Biden, who is clearly not all there, are terrible human beings. I would start with Jill Biden who is arguably the “Elder Abuser-in-Chief.” We are witnessing an ongoing tragedy that is replete with negatives that are not only Beyond the Pale but ominous in the extreme.

    Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, supporting the decrepit Joe Biden for another term as President has a lot to answer for. A lot. I would start with Dr. Jill but there are so many others that are culpable too. Big time. My God, America has come to this and it betokens ill not just for America but for all of mankind.

  12. Since this investigation comes at the behest of a complaint lodged by an external entity, the appropriate response is to lodge a counter-complaint. Lodging a counter-complaint, citing all those professors who took part in the action, as well as the various campus groups that support Hamas, alleging an ongoing atmosphere of antisemitism and harrassment of Jewish students will (perhaps) give the Department of Education the impetus to laun h a counter investigation………
