The Jordanian government “has been one of the most vocal opponents of Israel’s war to root out Hamas terrorists from Gaza,” yet it faces an ongoing threat from the Muslim Brotherhood, of which Hamas is an offshoot. Jordan has been playing all sides. It has been recognized as an American ally, yet it has bent over backward to foster friendship with the Muslim Brotherhood. Now its strategy is backfiring, as Hamas is stoking protests in Jordan. According to MEMRI last month:
This incitement of the Jordanian public by Hamas and MB officials enraged the Jordanian establishment. Initially, this establishment thought that adopting Hamas’ rhetoric would protect it from the public fury, but it seems that this tactic has been unsuccessful, and that Hamas’ propaganda and incitement has weakened Jordan and today even threatens to destabilize the regime.
Iran has now entered the equation, ostensibly in a bid to expand its own influence in the region: “Jordan thwarts Iran-led plan to carry out acts of sabotage in kingdom — sources,” Reuters, May 15, 2024:
Jordan has foiled a suspected Iranian-led plot to smuggle weapons into the kingdom to help opponents of the ruling US-aligned monarchy carry out acts of sabotage, according to two Jordanian sources with knowledge of the matter.
The weapons were sent by Iranian-backed militias in Syria to a cell of the Muslim Brotherhood in Jordan that has links to the military wing of Palestinian terror group Hamas.
The primary reason for Iran’s escalation is that it is allied with Hamas and Hizballah. Both groups have been “trying to recruit young, radical members of the kingdom’s Brotherhood to their anti-Israel, anti-US cause in a bid to expand Tehran’s regional network of aligned forces”:
Jordan has said it has foiled many attempts by infiltrators linked to pro-Iranian militias in Syria who it says have crossed its borders with rocket launchers and explosives, adding that some of the weapons managed to get through undetected.
Sectarian violence among Muslims is commonplace; Muslims have been killing Muslims in droves, with little international recognition of that fact. Add in the murder of Christians and other minority groups in the Middle East and in Africa; yet it is Israel that gets scrutinized.
With the attempted sabotage of the Hashemite Kingdom by Iran, Muslim-on-Muslim tensions will further grow, which is good for Israel, particularly as Jordan continues to slam Israel at every level.

Muslims seem to have a lot of sex, which is generally a good thing, but they also have too much violence. Why can’t they greatly reduce the violence, and replace it with more high-quality, consensual adult sex that doesn’t harm others?
(I’m going to get some criticism here; I’m personally opposed to same-sex relations, even between consenting adults, due to my religious beliefs. Also, I don’t approve of prostitution, or of extra-marital sex, etc., but those things are FAR less bad than all this Islamist terrorism, intolerance, hatred and violence!)

But, you are right. Terrorism, hatred of other humans for the sake of hatred, and the violence of which mozlums are so fond, hurts and kills innocent people.
I believe smoking is bad for a person, and therefore is *wrong.* However, if mozlums sat around in their houses smoking and contemplating trimming their long toenails, instead of waging war, fomenting hatred of others, raping and murdering, we would all be better off.

When it comes to the mozlum mindset, Jews and Christians need to be wiped out. (of course, they want everyone who refuses to convert to their mindset, wiped out).
Jordan’s government, knowing what it does about hamas, hezbollah, iran and others involved with those, are a danger to its ‘kingdom” and its country’s best interests.
They “foil” plots by these troublemakers, but refuse to see that their enemies are also Israel’s enemies. Because they just can’t bring themselves….as mozlums…to be at peace with the Jews.

Time to stop playing both ends against the middle. The muzbro’s are not your friends Jordan.
They are out to intentionally destroy your relationships outside of the middle east. Then they will be fighting to make you more fundamentalist until the rest of the world will no longer consider you civilized. They will weazel themselves into positions of power. And eventually replace the monarchy with a theocracy.
Time to make sure the protestors do not reoffend if they fail to disperse when told they get shot. Until there are no more protests. Then hunt down the trouble makers.

Given that King Abdullah is nothing like his father or uncle, who were genuinely peace seeking, I don’t mind seeing Jordan devolve into a full scale civil war b/w the Palis there and the other Jordanians, whatever the differences are. Let there be that, and let the Palis in Judea and Samaria, and Gaza too, go there and join the battle. Just like Hizbullah was locked in the Syrian civil war last decade
