New Dutch Government Tries to Save the Country. But Is It Too Late?

After six months of negotiations that seemed foredoomed to failure, The Netherlands will have a new government that will attempt to do something novel and strange in Europe (and North America): it’s going to put its own people first. In a development that has implications far beyond the Netherlands, populist politician Geert Wilders, whose party became the country’s largest in last November’s elections, has reached an agreement with three other parties on the right to form a new government. Wilders won’t be prime minister, but his tough anti-mass migration agenda will be implemented. Or at least that’s the plan.Breitbart reported Thursday that the Netherlands “will finally get the right wing government its people voted for, and some of the toughest border control in the Western World.” Wilders himself was ebullient, saying: “The sun will shine again in the Netherlands… The Netherlands will be ours again.” Will Wilders manage to Make the Netherlands Great Again? That is certainly the goal of the provisional agreement he and his coalition partners have hammered out.

The agreement, which is entitled “Hope, Courage, and Pride,” stipulates that Wilders will not be prime minister, despite being the leader of the country’s largest party. This was a concession that was necessary in order to form a coalition at all, and it could mean that the whole thing could go down in flames.

But maybe not: in theory, the prime minister won’t be an ideologue opposed to the coalition’s program but someone who understands that his or her job is to implement that program. “It appears,” says Breitbart, that “the ministry positions and Prime Ministership will be held by ‘technocrats’ — non-politicians and typically academics and economists — who would implement the government programme as dictated by the four.”

Could this work? Could it actually result in an effective government? It has about as much chance of doing so as a hereditary monarchy or the rule of the majority, both of which have produced some great governments and some disastrous ones, so it’s worth a try.

Meanwhile, the agreement is audacious in scope, aiming at doing nothing less than reversing the Netherlands’ slow and steady Islamization; if successful, this could transform the entire trajectory of Europe as a whole. The agreement states that “concrete steps are being taken towards the strictest admission regime for asylum and the most comprehensive package to control migration ever. The entire asylum and migration system is being reformed.”

      The Netherlands is subject to multiple treaties signed by the EUSSR, from the EUROMED scam to the EUROPEAN COMPACT FOR MIGRATION and a host of other treaties that support mass-migration & population replacement.
      It allows every third world savage who lands on European soil to claim rights to food, shelter, medical care, financial support & God knows what.
      If Wilders can swing this around it would be nothing short of a miracle.

  2. Unfortunately Holland, like most Western countries, is too far gone down the road of original population and culture replacement. What are the Dutch going to do, deport all the Muslims and enablers?

    • Nope. Ain’t gonna happen.
      But they must, must, must, prevent Muslims from introducing Islamic law into that nation’s legal system.
      If they don’t do that…

    • That is exactly what they need to do. You pass a law that makes unlawful any organization that calls for the conversion or death of non-Muslims and for death to Muslims who leave the ideology. You confiscate and convert to public uses all mosques. Those who distance themselves from Islam can stay. The rest get deported even if they are 2nd or 3rd generation citizens. All European countries and the U.S. and Canada should do the same, all at once.

  3. If only this happens, it’s a good first step. Next, there needs to be deportation of all illegals and Muslim murderers and rapists. This could embolden other patriotic movements throughout Europe to rise to the occasion if it’s not too late. The indoctrination and self hate of the West might be too entrenched to reverse.

  4. And once they get their act together prior governments need to be invited to explain to a treason court why they deliberately tried to destroy the nation.

    • Agreed SC, the traitors need to pay for what they did…but most of all it was the EU who are unelected, but imposed the migration pact on EU nations.

      They’re the ones who hold the lion’s share of responsibility and some of them were caught taking bribes from Arab countries like Qatar.

      Things like this don’t happen in a vacuum, they’re made to happen by nefarious forces and it’s a case of ‘follow the money.’

      Let’s also never forget the subversives, Leftists and Muslims who are working within democracy to destroy democracy, like Sadiq Khan and all the Muslim mayors/politicians in the UK for example. I’m sure the same things are happening in every western nation.

      While this is a great development for the Netherlands, I’ve learned over time, that you think you might have a victory but your enemy’s will find a way around to keep you from ‘winning’ like Brexit.

      The whole aim was to get out of the EU and not have to take in Muslim migrants…that’s what the British people voted for…but despite that the scummy elites still undermined the will of the majority and allowed the boats to continue to come in…and no party seems willing to solve this issue.

      Nonetheless I’m still hopefully that Geert Wilders will succeed in implementing his agenda and I’m sure he’s also ready to pull the plug on this current gov’t if they undermine him-since he cleverly did that with the previous ruling gov’t, to the then PM Mark Rutte (VVD) when he got embroiled in scandals. Wilder’s is a sly, sharp, patient and calculating man who know what to do when the time is right.

        I had thought, naïvely, that Brexit would have put a halt to muslim migration in the UK.

        Because, that is what the average Brit wanted…

  5. “Technocrats” – which is another euphemism for “know-it-all” economists & academics – sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Unless they happen to be ideologically on the same page as Wilders & his leadership. Maybe I’m extrapolating too much: maybe European elitists are more effective than American ones. Although I have yet to see any evidence of it

    Good thing about such a setup is that since Wilders is really outside the government, he can bring it down if it fails to deliver, & then once he gets a majority on his own, he can start pushing all his “extreme” policies as well – deporting all jihadists, ending muslim entry into the Netherlands, pulling out of the EU, stop being involved in the war in Ukraine and so on

  9. Geert needs to step his personal protection as there will be increased attempts on his life. And let’s hope other countries will follow suit. As for new-comers, say to in advance NO welfare benefits, if you can pay £10,000 to get here, you must be able to support yourself. And to existing immigrants of less than 5 years in situ, say no more benefits after 6 months, that might clear out a few?. We are a Judeo-Christian country and your religion does not enable you to fit in.

  11. At this point in time only God can save us from the muslim takeover of the western world. It is far to late to reverse what the traitor leaders have done to their native population by allowing (aiding really) unfettered import of the cult of death. The writing was on the wall the moment these western and European “leaders” gave in to the oil embargo in the seventies and sealed the deal by signing the “Barcelona declaration “in the nineties and in effect signed away their sovereignty to the muslims. Their citizen were never informed of that.
    Satan is soundly in control here on earth and we helped him get there by embracing abortion ( the most vile crime on earth) and keeping our collective mouth shut and cowered in the back ground and let it unfold.
    The white race deserve what we got.

  12. What do most current, non-Muslim, citizens of soon-to-be Islamic countries, like France, think about their future? Do they accept that their countries will become Islamic, or do they deny the writing on the wall?
