What’s really behind South Africa’s support for Hamas?
South Africa’s militant support for Hamas and opposition to Israel might have surprised some liberals, but longtime observers of the dysfunctional failed state were a whole lot less shocked.
The ruling African National Congress (ANC) regime has deep Communist roots and despite the adulation for longtime figurehead Nelson Mandela in the United States, was never a liberal party. Beyond its support for Islamic terrorists, the ANC has closely aligned with Russia and China. American liberals may have helped the ANC take over, but the party hates them and America.
ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa hosted Venezuela’s murderous socialist cartel boss, Nicolas Maduro, publicly mourned the death of Iran’s President Raisi, also known as the ‘Butcher of Tehran’, and is on friendly terms with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. And the ANC’s past leaders, who included criminals and rapists, fit in better with Iran, Venezuela and North Korea.
But beyond the ANC’s alignment with the worst tyrants in the world, it has another reason for aiming false accusations of genocide at the Jewish State. After 30 years of the ANC’s corrupt rule, its cities suffer constant blackouts, crime has turned the country into a wasteland, HIV is pervasive and nothing, from trains to water infrastructure, works anymore, voters have had enough. And while ANC elections are notoriously corrupt, this time the ANC is really afraid.
While South Africa has hurled accusations of genocide at Israel, polls show that 1 in 6 voters in its own country are prepared to back Julius Malema and his Economic Freedom Fighters party (EFF) which openly proposes killing white people. Ramaphosa and the ANC have talked about forcibly seizing land from white farmers on a national scale, but the EFF might imminently do it without regard to the massive Zimbabwe-style famine that would result from such a policy.
The possibility that the ANC might drop below a majority in the upcoming election has it conducting outreach to an Islamic party. South Africa has a majority Christian population, but the Al Jama-ah Party may score 2.5% of the vote in the upcoming election which in a close race could make all the difference.
The ANC’s false accusations of genocide are not just part of the movement’s global solidarity with dictators, but also represent a calculated outreach to Muslim colonists living in South Africa. The ruling party needs every vote and failing that it may well need the support of the Al Jama-ah Party to stay in power as part of a governing coalition between Ex-Communists and Muslims.
South African Jews have become so opposed to the ANC that, in a theologically climactic move, Chief Rabbi Warren Goldstein changed the prayer for the state traditionally recited in synagogues from a call to “bestow Your guidance and protection upon the President” to “bestow Your guidance and protection upon all the people of this country.” Synagogues had prayed for oppressive and antisemitic regimes in the past. Withdrawing prayers for the president is a statement that the government is beyond redemption. And few, Jews or Christians, would disagree.
But President Ramaphosa has little reason to care. There are only some 50,000 Jews estimated to remain in South Africa from what was once a large and prosperous population. South African accents are routinely heard in synagogues across Los Angeles alongside Persian ones. Both are representatives of Jews who were exiled by racism and violence from their home countries.
And it’s estimated that by the end of the decade, there may be a million Muslims in South Africa.
Islamic activists remain a distinct demographic minority, but they are gaining political influence through bloc votes and by exploiting South Africa’s corrupt ANC political culture. The ANC has taken great pains to drive out the country’s Jewish population and replace them with Muslims.
Johannesburg has been governed by Muslim mayors for the last two years beginning with Al-Jama-ah’s Imam Thapelo Amad. The formerly storied city’s government is ruled by a coalition of the ANC, the genocidal EFF and Al-Jama-ah. There are signs that such a coalition could be duplicated at a national level if the ANC falls far enough behind in the national election.
There are nearly a hundred mosques in Johannesburg with the minarets of mega-mosques like the Nizamiye or the Habiba Soofie scarring the placid blue sky. South African Christians struggle with the morning prayer calls howling from loudspeakers in the early morning. To some they are a sign that South Africa is slowly exchanging one form of supremacist apartheid for another.
If the Al Jama-ah Party becomes one of the bases of the ANC governing coalition, not just in Johannesburg but across the country, South Africa will draw even closer to Islamic tyrannies while becoming that much more corrupt and dysfunctional.
And there’s one more reason that the ANC needs Islamists to prop up its corrupt regime.
The CapeXit movement has been growing in popularity in the Western Cape of South Africa. The argument in the least tribal of the country’s region is simple enough: “South Africa cannot be saved, Cape Independence is our only hope.” The multiculturalism of Cape Town is its strongest asset against the racial and tribal hegemony of the ANC, but it also hosts the largest Muslim population in the country. And that is why the ANC also needs Al-Jama-ah.
The ANC fears that if given an actual choice, much of the population would vote to break free of the entire failed experiment. Al-Jama-ah has stayed true to its current role as a front for the ANC by vigorously opposing CapeXit. While the ANC continues to dominate South Africa, its growing failures and weaknesses mean that it will become more reliant on even worse groups, like the EFF and Al-Jama-ah, to sustain its rule. And that means life in South Africa will only get worse.

Anyone with half a brain would have been able to forecast this outcome. Ten to fifteen years ago one would half to be out of Johannesburg, Josie to most South Africans, by five or six o’clock because the chances of being attacked were extremely high. When I would visit the US Consulate in Josie to work with the staff, I would definitely depart by four and return to Pretoria. While working later in Lesotho, I witnessed the deteriorating situation and would be especially careful when traveling anywhere in South Africa. It is truly sad to witness the effects of the ANC.

It’s been years since fearless Canadian journalist Lauren Southern made the documentary ‘Farmlands’ chronicling the terrorizing and murder of white farmers in South Africa.
When Trump gets back into the White House he should offer to airlift any white South Africans the Heck out of there and have a process for expedited citizenship.

From what some commenters here at Jihad Watch have said, I thought that islam had a really low opinion of blacks, a completely racist attitude towards them, but i’m not surprised that South Africans are embracing islam. For quite while, South Africa seems to have been rapidly going down the drain and turning into yet another hopeless rabble of a country just like so many African countries seem to be. islam, in any country, can only speed up the fall into a barbaric dark age, that’s for sure. It has nothing but barbarism and backwardness to offer humanity.

Similar to the myth that Israel “stole” the land from the Palestinian Arabs, there is the myth that the White South Africans “stole” the farmland from the Blacks.
This is not to justify or excuse the racial injustices under Apartheid. However, the white farmers arrived when South Africa was sparsely populated (there were only small populations of Zulus and Xhosa peoples at the time, and they didn’t much care for each other either), and the Whites (mainly Boers at the time) built farms on land that wasn’t formally owned by any other group at the time.
So, when extremist Black leaders say that the Boers are “fake Africans” or “thieves,” they’re talking through their hat.
One may also note that the Black gangs who murder, rape and pillage White farmers use similar brutal methods that Hamas members have used against Israeli civilians.
Those Black gangs know nothing about how to run the farms, and if they usurp them from the White Farmers, then agricultural output there will nosedive as in Zimbabwe, and South Africa’s economy will go right down the toilet, instead of its already-precarious status right now.

Excellent opine Mike. I am glad that you pointed out that the farmers never stole land from anyone in South Africa. The cities were also built and populated on land not possessed by any black tribes and the murder and pillage that has caused Johannesburg to go from one of most beautiful and safe cities in the world to one of the ten most dangerous cities says everything one needs to know about the ANC.

Thanks, Mike, I didn’t know much about the history of South Africa, but, in recent times, it does seem to be descending into chaotic, crime ridden hopelessness. If islam makes inroads there, it can surely only make a very bad situation even worse. Barbaric islam is not the answer to any situation, that’s for sure. South Africa certainly sounds like a place to get the hell out of before it becomes an even greater rabble than it already is.

if isis or other radical groups opt to set up shop in RSA , there could be a problem. the corruption of police officials could make this possible since nigerian scammers bribe these cops regularly. the multiple Christians in SA must stand up visibly i think.

Proof here is that some people groups seem to be congenitally predisposed to domination and servitude at the hands of others. Being absolutely incapable of self-government or sustenance some people groups inevitably seek imperial domination. In their own subconscious resides a principle that demands subjugation at a feet of an imperial power. Of the 3 basic racial primary groups The Yellow Race is ostensibly the most competent for self-sustenance and progressive technological movement. Imagine Japanese Chinese or Korean inhabitantion of African soul. The present inhabitants through some set of genetically predisposed characteristics to lethargy apparently demand either imperial subjugation or self-annihilation. As a pragmatist in racial matters I unequivocally state with no reservation or apology that South Africa will revert to abject savagery or seek imperial domination. To be proven a liar requires the agricultural and industrial assertion of those indigenous peoples in their land.

If those people so constituted to imperial domination are given democratic freedom by an occupation they will sadomasochistically rebel against their masters until harsh pile driving is applied to their population. Muslim domination has proven itself to be indisputably insurmountable in Africa because the prerequisites for managing African colonization is superlative and welcomed by Africans. Observe Nigeria. Carefully crafted Islamic moves to commandeer the African national psyche via African leaders such as Bola Tinubu. Ibn Khaldun has written the Muqhadimmah which outlines the recipe for Muslim domination of Africans and African migration to Dubai are archetypal for this thesis. It is a fact that blatant Francophone style abject exploitation will be recompensed as France is marinating in karmically induced deterioration on French soil that could’ve been averted by certain reparations.

The rise of Islamist indoctrination in the American black communities in the 60s was phenomenal and practically all revolutionary groups of the day had their members convert to Islam. You see this evident still today, unfortunately and Islamist leaders of failed states and regimes like Turkey, Iran and Pakistan (not to mention the monarchs of Qatar!) have thousands of agents (spies) strategically located in each American state and EU cuontries.

Back in the day, Nelson Mandela and Yasser Arafat used to be close chums, especially at Non-Aligned Movement summits. PLO-ANC ties date way back, so when you have an ANC regime in Pretoria, it is not at all surprising that the regime there is anti-Semitic
That is also at the root of the slow Islamization of South Africa, in addition to it being converted into a 21st century Zimbabwe
