Russia: Islamic jihadis attack two churches and a synagogue in Dagestan, priest had throat slit

Authorities are blaming unspecified “militants.” CNN gives no information on who the attackers could be. Yet it’s clear these were jihad attacks. Dagestan is a hotbed of jihad activity, and the killers of the priest followed the Qur’anic injunction: “When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks” (Qur’an 47:4). The Dagestani authorities and CNN, like all political and media elites worldwide, are intent on whitewashing Islam and obscuring the ideological roots of jihad violence.

Meanwhile, the neo-Nazi right that has come out into the open since Oct. 7, Nick Fuentes and the like, and called for a Christian/Muslim alliance against the alleged threat of Talmudic Judaism should ponder this attack carefully. But they won’t.

Six law enforcement officers and a priest have reportedly been killed in what appear to be coordinated attacks by gunmen in Russia’s southernmost Dagestan province.

Attacks have been reported in a church and a synagogue in the city of Derbent and at a police traffic stop in the city of Makhachkala. Regional authorities say 12 law enforcement officers have also been wounded, though it is unclear in which city.

Two “militants” have also been killed following the attacks, RIA Novosti reported on Sunday, citing Dagestan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.

A priest was killed in the attack on the church in Derbent, according to the Dagestan Public Monitoring Commission Chairman, Shamil Khadulaev.

“According to the information I received, Father Nikolay was killed in the church in Derbent, they slit his throat. He was 66-years-old and very ill,” Khadulaev said.

He also said a security guard at the church armed with only a pistol was shot. Additional priests have locked themselves in the church and are waiting for help, Khadulaev said.

Meanwhile, the synagogue is now on fire with large flames and plumes of smoke billowing heavily out of a series of windows on at least one floor of the structure….

    • Russia has no illusions about Islam. There will come a point where Russian authorities put down the terrorism in no uncertain terms. Ask the Chechens (who are Muslims) what happened to them when they pulled this same crap.

      Of course, Western media will again decry that righteous response as “persecuting a minority”.

        • Of course, “John’s” implication that all other Russians are waging violent Jihad and imposing brutal Shari’ah law is quite false.

      • I don’t know, Reziac–a few years ago Putin persomnally opened the largest Mosque in Europe in Moscow, and he and Patriarch Kirill have often lauded the horrors of Islam as a bulwark against Western freedom.

        And when the Chechen Muslims pulled this same crap Putin allowed Kadyrov to impose Sharia’ah law there–not exactly a deterrent…

  2. No Christian should align himself with any mozlum…ever. It shouldn’t take mozlum terrorists attacks on churches to make that point to any Christian.

    The Bible clearly says, “oppose the devil and he will flee from you.” islam is full of the devil.
    Also, “Oh you lovers of Jehovah, hate was is bad.”
    The Proverb tells anyone reading it, “There are six things Jehovah does hate; yes seven things which are detestable to His Soul.” (All **bad** things which Christians hate)
    Those hated things are listed: lying tongue; false witness; one stirring up strife between brothers; feet hurrying to do evil; hands shedding innocent blood; a heart filled with evil schemes and a haughty spirit.

    mozlums exhibit and demonstrate those very hated things every day all over the earth.
    How could anyone wishing to please the God of the Bible make alliances with the very people who carry the things He hates around like badges of honor?

    mozlums are against everyone else, without exception. And they have proved this fact countless times in numerous evil ways. No one should befriend them or trust them. They can’t even trust each other.

    • Jihadis don’t limit their attatcks to Christians alone. There are also Jews in Dagestan.

      What the Bible says was irrelevant to that incident.This was: “When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks” (Qur’an 47:4).

      Muslims imperil every ‘unbeliever’: atheists included.

          Besides this statement, I was addressing this part of what Mr. Spencer had included with his remarks:
          “Nick Fuentes and the like, and called for a Christian/Muslim alliance against the alleged threat of Talmudic Judaism should ponder this attack carefully. But they won’t.”
          That no Christian should form an alliance with mozlums is shown in the Bible, which is indeed “relevant.”

          Contrary: no atheist organization was attacked.

          And you are right that no Athiests were targeted here–pious Muslims have certainly done this elsewhere, of course. They hate *all* Infidels, whatever their faith–or none.

      People could say the same thing about Christians, but not everyone of a faith is “bad”

      As they’re are good and bad in all faiths and backgrounds.

  3. Putin may be a lot of things, but he’s not an appeaser like Joe Bribem. I think he’ll deal with this murderous attack.

    • Putin doesn’t want a second front. Look how he downplayed the Crocus Hall massacre.

      The horrible war in Ukraine kills both Ukraininan and Russian young men. Islam will be the “laughing third” that benefits from the drain.

      • Russia tends to deal quietly with such incidents. The Crocus Hall massacre led to an immediate manhunt and numerous arrests (in that case, several Tajiks), and you can bet none of them will get off light. But they didn’t crow about it in the media, either.

      • To add to my previous comment… Russia understands that Islam wants publicity, and does not feed that beast. Russia just quietly hunts them down and arrests or kills them.

        I read Russia Today. The attitude is entirely unlike Western media — RT is entirely on the side of law and order. Bad guys are bad guys, period.

      • On the contrary, in the Ukraine War, Russia has enlisted as many muslims that it can from wherever it can – Tatarstan, Dagestan, Chechnya, Bashkirstan….. to make them fodder in that war, and have as few ethnic Russians as possible involved, so that there won’t be restiveness in the country over war casualties. It helps Putin that those imams have called this a jihad and sent their jihadists into Donbass: that way, they won’t protest either

        But like others have noted, Putin will sooner or later find that this snake that he’s hired can’t be indefinitely controlled

        • Well, if you had opportunity to get jihadists to kill themselves to your benefit, wouldn’t you do it??

          Russia is about 15% Muslim (mostly the Stans), and has to deal with that reality. Name me another country with more than 5% Muslims that is not suffering far worse Muslim behavior.

        • The “-stans” are no longer a part of Russia: they were a part of the Soviet Union. Russia is 10% muslim, and those populations exist in Chechnya, Dagestan, Tatarstan and Bashkirstan. Elsewhere in Russia, muslims are <10% of the population

  4. I read elsewhere that ISIS claimed responsibility for this event. Based on an earlier article on New Jersey school administration, I question how could that be ….. as the NJ administrators have stated that ISIS is NOT a terrorist group! How crazy is that?

    • Previously, mozlums claimed that *isis had hijacked islam* and were doing things that were not according to islam’s commands.
      Of course, their present protests and complaints prove they were lying at that time; which many of us knew then.
      isis represents islam to a *t.*

  6. I, by no means, love Russia, or, for that matter, Ukraine, but I do appreciate the ability of the Russians to beat hell out of these human debris and not have a press criticizing those actions. We tolerate too much bullshit in western countries.

    More than Nick Fuentes, Vladimir Putin should ponder this attack & ask himself whether backing Hamas, Iran & the Taliban has made his people – to the extent that he cares about them – any safer. They’re the ones who have to live w/ the consequences of his policies

  8. Open borders and Violence in 2014. You would have thought that with all this modern Technology, Education and Media we would be past all this Hate, Violence and Murder of each other. It seems like marches and rallies don’t work, maybe these people should try going to church and not just to burn them down or slit the throat of the Ministers or Priests.

    How about a World Wide day of Prayer and Peace, where we all recognize the miracle of life and value of each other. Killing and Destruction are NOT the answer.
