The Washington Free Beacon broke the news of the plot to feed those who will give their lives to protect us Frankenstein meat on Thursday. It reported that “a Pentagon-funded company is seeking proposals to feed America’s soldiers lab-grown meat in a bid to ‘reduce the CO2 footprint’ at Defense Department outposts.” Lab-grown meat. What could be more appetizing?
The Biden regime couldn’t have concocted a more effective plan if its goal was actually to prevent young men and women from joining the military. The Frankenstein meat scheme comes after the regime’s military has been busy purging the ranks of patriots, pushing Critical Race Theory, and hosting drag shows. And then Pentagon brass wonders why recruitment is down. Talk about not reading the room: isn’t there anyone still left in the military leadership who realizes that it’s young patriots who join the ranks and that all this woke propaganda acts as patriot repellant?
And now the military is compounding all that by giving recruits the prospect of finishing off a day filled with lessons about how America is an evil, racist, imperialist, colonialist, capitalist running dog with a hearty meal of toxic chemicals arranged into something that is supposed to resemble a steak. What could be more appealing? It’s a wonder that the various branches of the Woke Forces aren’t being overwhelmed with recruits.
Despite the fact that this fake meat is almost certain only to make a bad situation worse, Pentagon brass are all-in on the project and are busy forking over your money and mine to pay for Dr. Frankenstein’s culinary adventures: “BioMADE, a public-private company that has received more than $500 million in funding from the Defense Department, announced earlier this month that it is seeking proposals to develop ‘innovations in food production that reduce the CO2 footprint of food production at … DoD operational environments,’ according to an online announcement.”
What they’re doing is working with “novel cell culture methods suitable for the production of cultivated meat/protein,” that is, “lab-grown meat, a product that is still in its experimental phases. This type of meat is grown in a lab from animal cells with the aid of other chemicals.” Hungry yet?

I think that’s the whole idea? When you have a military led by a man – (i use the term loosely…) – such as Mark Milley who boasted of how he had promised to tip-off the CCP regarding any battle-plans the Trump admin might have – and who advocated gifting billions of dollars-worth of military equipment to the Taliban – then it’s rather hard to see it any other way.

You mean MREs made of plant grown meat? That would make them even more expensive, let alone nutritious. Also, how would that fit into the glutein or caesin free MREs that they were distributing a while back?

Good questions Infidel and having served four years in Vietnam (please don’t thank me for my service for it offered opportunities that I would never have had otherwise), I could only eat a few. When we would take a meal stop, we would exchange with each other the various meals that we could eat with some pleasure. In the packets were a pack of about five cigarettes, usually Lucky Strikes or Camels, and I am sure that is no longer the case and I quite smoking in the early 1970s after my son was born. I cannot imagine what any of us would have done if the Army put make believe meat in a pack for consumption. One other point is that the mess facilities provided pretty good food.

Ray, I had the opportunity to try different ration packs when I was a grunt in the Aussie army.
Brit, Malay, Kiwi as well as C rats and then MREs and all of them get boring real quick, with the common denominator being the use of “mystery meat”.
The other thing is that our coos had the hardest training courses in the entire army. WHY??
because none of the bastards had ever passed the course.

Keith, I have to say that the food in the mess hall was not bad considering the circumstances. When I lived in Canberra, I was a member to the State Department and never used an Aussie mess hall but I did have a good friend who was a member of the Parliament Security and the food was excellent at the government dining facility there.
I lived and worked in Canberra for four years and the only disappointment was that I was not permitted to stay longer. No one ever wished to leave as we all loved Australia. Four years and out.

No, from what I have read, fake meat is made exclusively from plants/vegetables. It’s supposed to be an alternative for vegetarians & vegans, so bugs would be a big no-no. Not sure what the sourcing is: I think it’s straight from the farms
I once had one of those “impossible burgers”. Tasted okay, but only b’cos as a Hindu, beef is off my list as a food. It was really expensive – and this was before Bidenomics kicked in: in fact, it was somewhere in 2019 that I tried it. At that time, that burger was $11 (w/o the fries or drinks)

The government has passed a law that will automatically register young males for the draft. Between 18 and 25 years old. They are not going to wait for these young people to register as required by the old law.

First of all, talking about sustainability, they are self sustaining: they grow everything that they need, and since they are a tiny country in terms of population – only 150 million, it’s not hard for them to cover their people in terms of food & energy, and then have plenty left over to export. As Tucker Carlson covered at the time, they provide the bulk of the world’s fertilizer, so sanctions on them had a ripple effect. Ukraine provided the bulk of the world’s food, but Russia effectively blockaded Odesa and other Ukrainian ports
On the energy front, things are even worse. Under Trump, we were the world’s leading energy exporter, but thanks to Biden, that’s all been shut down, thereby empowering both the Russians and the Saudis. Speaking of the latter, the 50 year agreement where they would only accept US dollars for their oil, which effectively made it the international reserve currency, has lapsed, and the Saudis have decided not to renew it. Dinging them for the murder of Khashoggi really worked out well for us here. Now that the US dollar is no longer the world’s reserve currency, it’ll be fun seeing how this “modern monetary theory” works, when there are no takers for our currency abroad

Once again our military Officers are coming out of our WOKE Colleges and Universities where they are being propagandized by foreign agents teaching and administrating these institutions.
