The United States military is pulling the plug on a Gaza aid pier that has been plagued with problems since it began operations in May, the Associated Press reported on Tuesday, citing several American officials.
Announced by President Joe Biden at his State of the Union address in March, the $230 million floating dock was intended to increase the flow of humanitarian aid via a Mediterranean sea route from Cyprus. More than 19.4 million pounds (8.6 million kilograms) of aid has entered the enclave since it was installed.
It will be reinstalled on Wednesday for several days to clear out the remaining aid that has piled up in Cyprus and get it on to the Gaza beach before the project is dismantled permanently….

Somehow, despite throwing all that taxpayer ? on Gaza, it’s not saving Biden’s presidency. On the news, one thing they mentioned was that the reason for George Clooney pulling his support for Biden, despite having run the fundraiser before that, was his Pali wife Amal. Like all vaginal Palestinians, nothing that Biden does is good enough, unless the US were to totally flip & ally w/ Hamas & Hizbullah against Israel
Given what a lowlife Biden is, it’s funny to see his partymen turn on him, even if he has the delegates locked. Even more priceless is the Intifada crowd in this country turning on him, despite him doing everything in his power to kneecap Israel

It’s the USA military. Having been an officer in Vietnam and going through combat engineers school what you realize that the USA military is about trying different solutions and equipment. Chalk this floating wharf up R&D. $230 million, no big deal. Learned a lot about what works…. and what doesn’t.

You would think that we would have computer models and simulations to see what works and what doesn’t work before we throw away $230 million. What the Biben / Obama regime is doing is trying wreck the US economy anyway they can. They need to come up with more and more ideas to waste more and more of our money.

That’s nuthin’. Newsome’s state has spent unknown $xxx Billions and now expects phase one, to the Central Valley, to finish sometime(?) at a cost of $106 Billion which includes Billions from US taxpers in other states via the federal government. This was estimated to cost $36 Billion in 2015.
Divide $106 Billion by $230 Million, and presto! California wil spend 460 times more that the Gaza Pier and both aren’t working.

Westman, this Clifornia rail project is *exemely* expensive and may not proof all that useful, and I do not support it. But even at its worst, this is not delivering American taxpayer money to terrorists as the Gaza pier did.
