Coordinated suicide attacks claimed the lives of at least 18 people in northeastern Nigeria on Saturday. The Islamist group Boko Haram, which has not officially claimed responsibility for the explosions, has been waging violence in the region for more than ten years.
At least 18 people were killed and 19 seriously wounded in suicide attacks targeting a wedding, a hospital and a funeral in northeastern Nigeria on Saturday, authorities said.
The region has been scarred by more than a decade of violence by jihadist group Boko Haram, which did not immediately claim responsibility for the string of attacks.
In one of three blasts on Saturday in the town of Gwoza, a woman with a baby strapped to her back detonated explosives in the middle of a wedding ceremony, according to a state police spokesman.
“At about 1545 (1445 GMT) a woman carrying a baby on her back detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) she had on her at a crowded motor park,” Borno State police spokesman Nahum Kenneth Daso said.
Women suicide bombers also targeted a hospital in the same town, which lies across the border from Cameroon. Another attack was later carried out at the funeral for victims of the wedding blast, authorities said….

Real simple solution. Cease worrying about collateral damage when policing moslems. They respect no one and have no rules of engagement. No limits as to who is used as a combatant. The only way to fight that is entirely abandon the moral high ground and work the same way, assume they are all a threat and shoot them all on sight. Only those that support terrorists will complain.

Another report from one of the main news orgs…can’t recall if it was AP or another….said at least 30 were dead in the three attacks and 100 wounded.
A spokesman was relating the first two, when he said the third one had just happened.
I feel so sorry for the infant murdered by his mother….for whatever her reason…and for the other victims and their families.

Most of the fools that follow Islam can’t even speak Arabic and therefore can’t even read and understand what is written in the Quran and Hadiths. They just listen to some Imam who teaches it but can’t even read Arabic himself. Talk about the blind leading the blind and both fall into a ditch.
It is said that you have to read and speak the Arab language perfectly, to read the Quran and Hadiths correctly, so the follower won’t be exposed to misunderstanding and deception by translators and Imams. The majority of these people don’t.

Just like Muhammad who stayed behind on the war, the sheiks, imams and preachers who urge muslims to do jihad, most of them never do the jihad themselves. They are just collecting money from their followers and the donation from else where.
Can you imagine if Ismail Hanifeh or Yahya Sinwar straps some bomb on themselves and detonates among the IDF soldiers? It only happens on your imagination.
